Yes RBI like many other Government Organizations has a transfer policy based on Spouse ground irrespective of spouse working in RBI or somewhere else, further both employees can not work in the same department of the RBI.

Hello anmol bhaiya firstly congratulations for becoming rbi officer...i want to ask at 43:55 you said you have to type 300 wpm.....is it possible? even in ssc or any exam they need only 40-45 wpm typing speed.
Hi buddy, thanks for your wishes. Afa your query is concerned I haven't said that "you HAVE TO type 300 wpm", I said that one must practice to have fast typing speed which can go from 100 to 300 wpm and I have already replied to such a question before. Moreover I have suggested a wpm of 100-150 to be a decent one, exam hall pressure and surprise questions will reduce it to half, trust me.

Being a fresher I was in doubt should I try it or not? But this interview gave me confidence. Your journey and hardwork inspired me alot..Thanks bhaiya..
Hey soumya, you being a fresher I will share the same life altering message I and Rohan follow: "The fool didn't know it was impossible so he did it" So don't take the warnings or judgments of experienced aspirants too seriously and have faith in your efforts....same was the case with my wife who cleared it in her first attempt.
Very much relatable sir. By the time English section came, all I wanted was the exam to get over. Cramps and stiffness all through my back. Heartiest congratulations to you sir. One of the few honest topper's talk I have ever seen. I just wanted to know about few more real life hacks. Like how to be more efficient? How to overcome emotional breakdowns? How to overcome the fear of unemployment, age, etc. ?
Does reading already written esay by the upsc people will help the person who is very naive or who hasnt written any esay in his life except in school and that too like My school, Railway station etc etc
I guess it won't be of any direct help but surely if you read essays by upsc cse toppers you will understand how to structure an essay, which content is relevant, where to place quotes or change paragraphs etc.
@@born_ambitious for content coverage course will save you time and make your approach more disciplined, however you can do without buying course as well But for mocks i strongly recommend buying test series All the best
Be honest while creating a relatable and believable story, yeah it can be 90% truth but it should be 100% conviction. IMO Interview is all about story telling because mine was a total conversational interview rather than a Question Answer one. Secondly, become a holistic person, read books of great content, try to understand Philosophical Thoughts and other crazy content via youtube through channels like Think School, Crash Course Philosophy, Philosophy Tube......basically try to become worldly wise, believe me once you start doing these things for 1 year or more, your grades wont be a big obstacle because what matters is who you are today. At one point I started watching Iranian, Afghan, Syrian, Russian, Korean, Italian, Argentine films with subtitles because I was in love with IFS, but still watching that great cinema made me aware of different cultures, their ethics, their solutions, so you got my point?
Anmol Narula I have similar traits of exploring new things as you hv mentioned but how to embibe it in my personality. Your persona reflects these are ingrained in your mind. How will this happened to me. It is in mind but doesn't come to speaking.
@@rajatpanchal163 i was in a similar situation, but then i discovered the philosophy of Romanticism I consciously put in all my emotions and energies into watching that movie or reading that book or memorizing that quote, then i try to write essays or small write ups and use those anecdotes from movies etc everywhere even in my conversations My friends will tell you that i am always ready to slip in a bollywood dialogue or a line from a song even in our regular conversation 😋 My room used to be filled with Batman quotes/Philosophers quotes/Rafi songs
Anmol Sir I completed my bsc honours in anthology from Indira Gandhi National open University. I am working in India Post after class 12 as a branch post Master. Will this open University ( bad academic background ) effect in interview ? How to handle sir ?? Please tell
IMO having a qualification from open University should not be an issue as long as you satisfy the RBI eligibility criteria....afa interview is concerned it is a test of personality, there is a diverse pool of selected candidates from all sorts of colleges
Your reason to go for RBI. You were a software eng, could earn decent package. What should motivate a newcomer to join RBI. Can you list some positives. Is it salary, organisation, future life, what is the pull factor?
In simple terms for me the pull factors were: Pyaar: my wife being there already and love for the organization Paisa: awesome perks and an amazing salary Passion: directly serving my country especially the economic sphere For a new aspirant: Diversity of job profile Increasing role and tectonic shift coming in finance and banking Indisputable respect in the society especially the banking & finance sector The organizational brand value of being autonomous and non corrupt

Sir I have Bio background and failed neet and many others competitive exam at class 12 level and now I want prep for RBI and other banking exam . Is it a right choice or I should continue with jobs related to my field
Hi, IMO If you are working right now then it is suggested that you prepare for this exam with your job and track your progress through mocks, taking help from a coaching institute can be considered. Secondly it is highly suggested that you read about the job profile and then make an informed decision as to whether you want to switch your domain or not.
See buddy, always remember one important thing in your life, Never have any pre conceived notions about anything As heraclitus said "No man steps in the same river twice". So the background doesn't matter that much, you can watch Mr Shubham Kumar's toppers talk by EDUTAP to believe this. Secondly afa your query about marks is concerned, checkout the RTI reply by RBI reg rank list of RBI GB 2022 yourself and analyse it, trust me it will clear a lot of your doubts👍 So just continue the grind and maintain your momentum 😊 And plz reach out for any other doubts✌️

Instead of reading content and then giving test, first give test/mock and then during mock analysis read one question and it's answer and study the topic associated with that question especially the wrong answers As an aspirant we "feel good" reading the content and finishing 300 pager PDFs but IMO it is of no use. You must know what to read and remember and what to leave.....this comes only by giving mocks and analysing model answers. Rest continue with periodic revisions and with each revision try to shorten your final notes or try to make your own audio notes and listen them regularly
Although mine was in English, but yes I am aware of my batchmates who gave Interview in Hindi and basic day to day Hindi is required not Shuddh Hindi, but a big no to Hinglish.
Sir kindly give your strategy for reasoning section as well as it has become a hard nut to crack. Also kindly provide some platform to connect with you like Quora or something. Since I'm also working, we need more mentors like you
Hi ojaswi, firstly I'm happy that you reached out, it shows your relentless attitude towards your goal. Sources you can consult: 1. Free: Ankush Lamba, Puneet sir both on unacademy special classes and UA-cam. 2. Paid: Mock tests of diff platforms Strategy & Personal tips: 1. DONT overemphasise on puzzles....if you are good in puzzles, it's great but if you are average, like me, please make sure you strengthen other topics like Blood Rel, Syllogs, Ranking and Order etc. 2. Don't underestimate the power of verbal reasoning, cause effect, assertion reasoning etc with a little effort and common sense, they can save you even if you end up wasting time on a puzzle in the exam hall. 3. Mocks are your BEST FRIEND. But finding RBI level mocks is really hard just as finding great friends 😊 so please try to invest time and money to get hands on good RBI level mocks. 4. Don't let reasoning become a hauwa(enigma) for you psychologically, I failed RBI 2021 pre falling short of 0.75 marks in reasoning sectional despite being way above in overall cutoff, But the next time i met her in exam, I just didn't let her dominate me psychologically. Hope it helps, please ask all your follow up doubts here for the time being 🙏 You are a champ girl, believe in yourself!🏂
Thank you Sir. I too missed my prelims by. 25 marks in reasoning while clearing the overall cutoff. That's why could relate more with you. I feel my verbal reasoning such as assumptions and cause effect related questions is not up-to the mark. I have not been able to find good level mocks for that. If you have any personal suggestions on how to improve verbal reasoning then please let me know

Firstly, make sure that you request them with all your sincere efforts. Secondly, you can fill the form and appear for the exam and once you reach the interview stage you can seek post facto approval Thirdly you can request for sometime during your DV before interview when you are asked to submit NOC and during that time again request your employer. Fourthly If the result is out and you get selected but you still don't have the NOC, you may put in your normal resignation from your current job take your relieving and join as a normal non working candidate. But I got my NOC as in point 1.....point 2,3,4 are extreme cases undertaken by certain other batchmates but they involve a certain risk, so use them only in dire situation.

Hello sir, I have cleared RBI phase 2 examination. I am also working in SBI as a probationary officer. Currently undergoing my rural training. Kindly guide as to what I can mention in the biodata and the sources from where i can study for the interview.
You can mention undergoing probation at sbi If you are well versed with agri banking like pkcc and kcc credit then mention it else just write undergoing probation Sources: RBI website RBI annual report RBI FSR Edutaps videos on recent RBI notifications and guidelines Daily newspaper Avail mock interviews like one in the beginning one in the middle and one just a few days before your final interview interview Brainstorm about your inner self for HR questions like why join RBI or why banking or what is your career plan etc
For English descriptive in all honesty you must be prepared with following skills 1. Paraphrasing. 2. Fast Typing. 3. Good articulation. Please practice RC from whichever source you can, I find them to be a real pain in the ass. They ask questions demanding a 100 word answer while maximum you can stretch is 60. Precis this time was another level, it was on astronomy and I had to read it multiple times to make sense of what the author wants to say. So again if you find a complex article especially a scientific one in newspaper try to write a precis for it. Essay is easy and manageable if your phase 2 prep is good, you have sufficient fodder.
For ESI, follow current affairs sources diligently Budget, govt schemes and economic survey are extremely important, follow edutaps free marathon sessions on rbi guidelines and govt schemes religiously. For descriptive writing you have to join a mock test series unless you have friends who can give you good feedback and guidance for answer writing.
Congratulations Sir...🥳🥳 Currently I am preparing for banking exams. I kindly request you to share a complete road map or a time table with which I can prepare from the strach for grade B. Looking forward for your response.
This question demands a huge responsibility of taking out time and doing justice with your and other aspirants' time. Questions of aspirants have motivated me to either write a blog journey or some other dedicated medium to provide you all with quality guidance, So i will surely try to get back to you on this with something helpful and useful. I just don't want to misguide you guys by blabbering random timelines.
Sir you've mentioned you used to play general awareness videos in your branch but when I'm trying the same it shows that your organization has restricted the use of this website. Was it the same in your case? How did you overcome it? It also dosen't allows downloading any pdfs on it.
Firstly I played UA-cam on my phone, kept it tilted in the keyboard slot where only i can see it and not the branch 😋 Then i used to record audio notes of CA like affairscloud top 100 Ques and listen to them PDFs i used to upload to my official onedrive through my laptop or phone and I could open them on my PC easily Alternatively you can mail the PDFs on your official mail as well All the best 👍
I was a software dev before SBI and I made all my UPSC and RBI notes on Microsoft Onenote, so speed typing has been a daily ritual for me, try to make it your ritual in some way as well.
Hehe, they are decent enough, gated colonies, green areas, gym and sports facilities and good mess food. The size of quarter is cute enough to maintain.
Hey rishabh, for me it was always pdf that i preferred, you can do your annotations and even click screenshots and add them to your onenote/digital notes Ease of mobility Ease of updation and searching PS If you have a tablet with stylus, ahh man believe me then you can truly romance with your newspapers....i recently bought a Samsung S7+ and honestly newspaper reading has become even more easy and intuitive!
Hello anmol sr , i have a question -- if i got a question on any topic in esi example - on gdp and i have only few points in my mind not a big answer in my mind how could i eleborate my answer .. so that i can score good in that question
Hi buddy, so here is a real game i played in this exam when I faced similar situation as you mentioned. Unlike UPSC, this is a computer based exam so you can always write incomplete answers and come back to complete them. I ensured to write intro and conclusion of each answer, then i just jotted down 1-3 word headings under each section. Sections can be Intro Body containing: Issues Causes Effects Government schemes Your/Committee/Expert Recommendations Conclusion Once i did this in each answer I came back to each question and completed it properly within word limit.....the pitfall of this approach is that you need to do context switching repeatedly but this worked for me flawlessly compared to completing each answer and moving to next. This way you can write any topic in 250-1500 words. This is a personally tried and tested method, hope it helps. All the best
Start with all sorts of similar exams irrespective of the post clerk or officer, clear one exam and gain confidence, move ahead to the next one, everyone goes through this.
Yeah buddy that's right, 100+ is very much possible, I had my software dev background so I could type alongwith comprehension Plus i made my entire upsc notes on onedrive... moreover I am used to typing write-ups for personal use. But that's not supposed to be a constraint, just consider it in a way that you too need to make one or the other habit your trump card....for you it can be an awesome memory....or quick articulation skills.

@@sreesree7980 Afa course is concerned 1. I had UPSC background so 60% was sorted there 2. I am SBI PO so phase 1 was more about practice than concept building 3. Is there any policy in RBI where both spouce can work in same office?
Yes RBI like many other Government Organizations has a transfer policy based on Spouse ground irrespective of spouse working in RBI or somewhere else, further both employees can not work in the same department of the RBI.
@@anmolnarula135 My husband is a state pcs officer. Can i be posted in that state lifetime? Whats stopping me from giving this exam is the transfer policy. :( :(
Hello anmol bhaiya firstly congratulations for becoming rbi officer...i want to ask at 43:55 you said you have to type 300 wpm.....is it possible? even in ssc or any exam they need only 40-45 wpm typing speed.

Hey soumya, you being a fresher I will share the same life altering message I and Rohan follow:
"The fool didn't know it was impossible so he did it"
So don't take the warnings or judgments of experienced aspirants too seriously and have faith in your efforts....same was the case with my wife who cleared it in her first attempt.

@@anmolnarula135sir is it important to purchase course?....I mean can we completely rely on free materials to crack this exam?

Sir how to face poor academic background questions in interview... I cleared my BTech in 8 years instead of 4
Be honest while creating a relatable and believable story, yeah it can be 90% truth but it should be 100% conviction.

Anmol Sir I completed my bsc honours in anthology from Indira Gandhi National open University. I am working in India Post after class 12 as a branch post Master. Will this open University ( bad academic background ) effect in interview ? How to handle sir ?? Please tell

IMO having a qualification from open University should not be an issue as long as you satisfy the RBI eligibility criteria....afa interview is concerned it is a test of personality, there is a diverse pool of selected candidates from all sorts of colleges
I am going through same situation sir. ❤❤❤
Your reason to go for RBI. You were a software eng, could earn decent package. What should motivate a newcomer to join RBI. Can you list some positives. Is it salary, organisation, future life, what is the pull factor?
Mainly job security, respect and social status।
In simple terms for me the pull factors were:
Pyaar: my wife being there already and love for the organization
Paisa: awesome perks and an amazing salary
Passion: directly serving my country especially the economic sphere
For a new aspirant:
Diversity of job profile
Increasing role and tectonic shift coming in finance and banking

The organizational brand value of being autonomous and non corrupt

Hi, IMO If you are working right now then it is suggested that you prepare for this exam with your job and track your progress through mocks, taking help from a coaching institute can be considered. Secondly it is highly suggested that you read about the job profile and then make an informed decision as to whether you want to switch your domain or not.

Yes she is selected from 2019 rbi grade b exam.
Sir is rbi just for elite background, can one could get low marks in interview even after getting qualified in both prelims and mains..???
See buddy, always remember one important thing in your life,
Never have any pre conceived notions about anything
As heraclitus said
"No man steps in the same river twice".
So the background doesn't matter that much, you can watch Mr Shubham Kumar's toppers talk by EDUTAP to believe this.
Secondly afa your query about marks is concerned, checkout the RTI reply by RBI reg rank list of RBI GB 2022 yourself and analyse it, trust me it will clear a lot of your doubts👍
So just continue the grind and maintain your momentum 😊
And plz reach out for any other doubts✌️

Instead of reading content and then giving test, first give test/mock and then during mock analysis read one question and it's answer and study the topic associated with that question especially the wrong answers
As an aspirant we "feel good" reading the content and finishing 300 pager PDFs but IMO it is of no use. You must know what to read and remember and what to leave.....this comes only by giving mocks and analysing model answers.
Rest continue with periodic revisions and with each revision try to shorten your final notes or try to make your own audio notes and listen them regularly

Sources you can consult:
1. Free: Ankush Lamba, Puneet sir both on unacademy special classes and UA-cam.
2. Paid: Mock tests of diff platforms
Strategy & Personal tips:
4. Don't let reasoning become a hauwa(enigma) for you psychologically, I failed RBI 2021 pre falling short of 0.75 marks in reasoning sectional despite being way above in overall cutoff,
But the next time i met her in exam, I just didn't let her dominate me psychologically.

Firstly, make sure that you request them with all your sincere efforts.
Secondly, you can fill the form and appear for the exam and once you reach the interview stage you can seek post facto approval
Thirdly you can request for sometime during your DV before interview when you are asked to submit NOC and during that time again request your employer.
Fourthly If the result is out and you get selected but you still don't have the NOC, you may put in your normal resignation from your current job take your relieving and join as a normal non working candidate.

Hii congratulations, I want to know how to approach eng descriptive and esi.I am feeling fear about that
For English descriptive in all honesty you must be prepared with following skills
For ESI, follow current affairs sources diligently
Budget, govt schemes and economic survey are extremely important, follow edutaps free marathon sessions on rbi guidelines and govt schemes religiously.
For descriptive writing you have to join a mock test series unless you have friends who can give you good feedback and guidance for answer writing.
Thanku so much🙏🙏😊

100 wpm, 300wpm.. what you were talking about sir? Is it really possible to type that fast?
Right now I am struggling to type even 25-30 words per minute.
I was a software dev before SBI and I made all my UPSC and RBI notes on Microsoft Onenote, so speed typing has been a daily ritual for me, try to make it your ritual in some way as well.
How are the quarters provided by RBI
Hehe, they are decent enough, gated colonies, green areas, gym and sports facilities and good mess food.
The size of quarter is cute enough to maintain.

Sections can be
Intro
Body containing:
Issues
Causes
Effects
Government schemes
Your/Committee/Expert Recommendations
Conclusion
Once i did this in each answer I came back to each question and completed it properly within word limit.....the pitfall of this approach is that you need to do context switching repeatedly but this worked for me flawlessly compared to completing each answer and moving to next.
This way you can write any topic in 250-1500 words.
This is a personally tried and tested method, hope it helps.
All the best
Sir gi Charan sparsh.
But I don't have a job till now. I am in tension now..
Start with all sorts of similar exams irrespective of the post clerk or officer, clear one exam and gain confidence, move ahead to the next one, everyone goes through this.
Tutte hue dil se rank nikalta hai 😂
Did he really say 100+ wpm or I misheard something?🙄43:40
Yeah buddy that's right, 100+ is very much possible, I had my software dev background so I could type alongwith comprehension
Plus i made my entire upsc notes on onedrive... moreover I am used to typing write-ups for personal use.
But that's not supposed to be a constraint, just consider it in a way that you too need to make one or the other habit your trump card....for you it can be an awesome memory....or quick articulation skills.

Can an RBI Grade B officer run UA-cam channel or Instagram reels or any other activity like freelancing (as a side income) during weekends and holidays?
You can run a private channel after proper permission from the concerned authorities, however I am not clear on whether you can monetize it. Also there is a strict social media policy in place regarding dos and don'ts of posting anything online
