I realize this is an older video. I have 2 of these units. So far, so good. I don't expect it to last more than three or four years. We'll get Coleman's after that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Dometic just doesn't last dude! I know people like one of the comments below that have Carriers and Colemans that will freeze you out of your trailer and maintain that on a Texas summer day!!!
I guess I asked the question wrong, I know they make RV air conditioners but the blizzards bolt in with lag bolts from the roof down not from the inside like most. Does Coleman have a option for that?
Wish Carriers would come back. I still got mine from 2009 running perfectly. The front smaller one did quit cooling. But if I could get recharged it be perfect again
I was about to comment on that, I can see that becoming a fire risk as the coach vibrates during travel and I hope those foam enclosures are fire resistant as that looks to be fuel should a fire start in the ac unit!
1995dresser I think the freeze up problem might either be under charged units, or poor airflow across the evap, though the other problem might be filters not being cleaned or insufficient ducting!
No you gotta buy a circuit box to make it work. Call dometic and the will give you the model number for it . But if you have a blizzard already I would just stick to what you have because that circuit box is big for a 14×14 hole.
I have a coleman mach in my two year old camper, it is junk. Can't even keep my camper at 75 when its 80 outside it runs constantly and the compressor sometimes cuts off in the middle of a cooling cycle. I had a 20 year old dometic that still worked flawlessly in my old camper it would blast you outta there in a 100 degree day. Suburban furnaces are junk too.

nice job
I wish he would have showed the plugs or connectors.
Notice the missing bushing on the wiring bundle entering the metal electronic control box, NO protection for those wires is seen.

Yeah have you fixed the freeze up problem?
In other words they used cheaper materials to lower cost but will make it out like they did it to “upgrade” the unit.
Have they ever solved the Coil Freeze up Problems on many of their RV units ????????

1995dresser low Freon in the system. They all are shipped with the bare minimum and they’re a sealed system so they’re basically designed to fail.
I have a brisk air ii 15k will this blizzard nxt 15k install plug and play?

does it really work on 240 volts ? engine say 115v
RV AC's are far less efficient than common, cheap window units. No word on having made any improvements in that area.
Garbage units I have 2 on my cedar creek rv that are 2 years old that don’t cool at all. Total waste of money
Still not as good as a Coleman! Or Mach!

They are total junk. Install instructions - remove from box, throw in dumpster.
