The 3.5 is not much different then the 3.4! Plus getting what you need to run a 3.5 is pretty difficult. If you watch recent videos, I recently had a big failure in my 3.5!

VERY IMPORTANT QUESTION! Where did u get the turbo kit from? Or is it all custom? I love grand ams and I miss my old one but…. I wanna buy a new one and do a manual swap and boost it. Plz reply my guy 🙏🏻
The setup is from milzy motorsports. But I lucked out and got it second hand. There's been a history of issues getting parts from there. If your good with a welder a few people have made they're own setups! Downfall with this one is how much of the engine bay/frame area I had to cut for it to fit. Best if luck getting another one! For manual swap go after a 5 speed! Much much better option. For more info on my build, look back wayyyy to the beginning of the channel I show what went into most of it.
If your going to do ARP stuff in the bottom end get forged rods and pistons, then you won't have to worry about it! Any plans to upgrade any other engine/turbo stuff?
Powdered rods in there already. Pistons are a maybe. That's a grand easy I don't feel is worth it. Cam and up had already been done and I did slap the bigger turbo on! New video soon on some other things since we had a pretty big failure this weekend!
@@KMaffittGAGT I wouldn't bother with the stock rods if you going for more than 500hp, if your staying under 500 then I would leave it all stock. At least with the stock stuff your only out $2-300 if you blow it up! Lol
Not advised to remove the cap while the system is under pressure. I have had issues with the cap not coming off when there is no pressure. The threads get all messed up on the tank.
99-05 are all the same generation! As far 2 door vs 4 door the body kit I have is avaliable in both!. Problem will be finding most of the discontinued parts I have!
If there's something specific hit me up and we can talk! Most of the stuff on my car has been discontinued or is custom! But maybe we can get you pointed in the right direction!
Havent had many, and wasnt impressed. Even was able to visit the shop. Ive been watching so many people get screwed over and lose out. So much potential but its been getting worse and making me cringe over the years. I did post about the turbo headers on facebook which came from his shop, after maybe 5-8k miles of use both the metal and welds cracked in a couple places. Mind you i spent the first couple season almost never hitting boost. And the retort was i should have expected it as they use cheap materials and quickly weld it together.
I have a 2004 Pontiac grand Am SE v6 I'm having issues with it I put new fuel pump,fuel filter, fuel Pressure regulator,and yet I have to put starting fluid spray so it can start, otherwise it won't start , only thing I can think of is fuel injectors bad , anyway my car is just sitting idk what to do, trying to figure this car out
@@lulitoluis3911 they never made any coilovers grand ams (at least this generation) and there isn't a car with similar enough suspension setup to swap. There were a few lowering springs but all have been discontinued. H&r still has a few new sets floating around!
Where do you order aftermarket performance parts for your cars? Only good site I think I've found is Milzy Motorsports just not sure if they were still active or not before I send them 3 grand lol
That's a sketchy one that has a lot of negative behind it. You may never see your money, or parts 😂 wot-tech does engine parts for the v6. If you have an ecotec, you could use cobalt parts. But 90% of the aftermarket is gone for these cars. Gotta search across the country on marketplace for people selling stuff!

I can see it being kinda similar. You'd have the variable cam timing 3.5 where this is non vvt 3.5. from the 04-06 g6!

Having trouble with radiator caps locking under pressure and having to pry off. Any suggestions???

Once running does it stay running? Have you checked pressure at the rail? I wouldn't think all injectors would go bad at the same time.
The car once Its on it says on after spraying starter fluid

How did you get the exhaust to sound like that?
Quick rundown, turbo, cammed 3.5 v6(basically a 3.4), upgraded valvetrain, custom header setup, turbo back 2.5" exhaust to an SLP muffler.

Rk sport! Sadly they just discontinued it last year. Was pretty expensive so not many people bought it.
How much horse power ?
I don't like to throw numbers around without proof. It's estimated around 275 at the wheel. Dyno time is on the agenda after a couple more mods!

As I explain in the video it's a 3.5 v6 from a g6. Has a cam and a bunch of other work done to it!
