When her mother said:- "he should be cut up in pieces and thrown at the places where he threw the girls after raping them" That's exactly what should be done. I cried with her parents. This is heartbreaking.

The authenticity source from which the age is derived is in doubt, and even if is correct, age as a social construct was much more different back then. It's also a bastion of democracy, where the people choose their representation instead of having law and religion forced upon them. Western police forces are less corrupt because they find and break child trafficking rings instead of accepting bribes to protect them. It's also a main source of modern medical and technological innovation, bringing health and comfort to the sick & weary masses. My mom and dad said the same. My grandfather would send my 7/8 year old mom with her little sister and a neighbouring friend of the same age to pick up things like milk, vegetables. They were not scared, nor was she ever harmed. That was in the late 70s, early 80s. It's horrible how the world has progressively become more and more perverse. She also said women, although they covered, were more relax than now, as they knew men would always lower their gaze. I think it's in part to do with internet accessibility. People have seen too much, and they've lost respect for one another, especially women and children. It's sad.

@@Abman31 not really.....most child sexual abuse happens through people close to the child.
This is a problem in countries like India and Pakistan as due to the family dynamic.....it's hard to speak out for the victims as well.
As that would create a schism in the family.
Also ....i understand that many believe the world is getting worse in terms of morality...but i disagree completely.
Human nature always remains the same...no matter the time period.
Yes...the fact about the local community bringing news is correct.
But thats the thing.....you would only know about the news in YOUR local community and maybe some major stuff happening around the country.
But with the advent of the internet......I can get to know something like this happening across the world.
If u think about it.... something like this happening in YOUR locality is quite low probability.....as most localities are peaceful.
Statistically for every one such incident...there are millions of cases where it DOESN'T.
We just have a large enough sample size now....so we can see all types of disturbing stuff happening.

Those who lose their children to such a horrific crime have to live a living death for the rest of their days because they are surrounded by memories of the beautiful child they lost whilst some have to care for children who have been mentally and physically damaged.

Yes Pakistani law enforcement suffers from corruption but I think Pakistani Law Enforcements main struggles come from lack of resources and funding. Coming from a Pakistani, I know that Pakistan is not a wealthy country. May God bless Pakistan but currently the GDP ppp per capita is $5000 compared to Canada's which is $45000 or Turkeys which is $30000 . For example, Toronto's has a budget of 1.06 Billion for regional police serving 5 million population. Lahore which has a metropolitans population of nearly 25 million has a budget of only 1.0 Billion.

@XYZABC Singh There are 2 options in life for everything. The right and The wrong. According to Islam there is only 1 true God(Allah). According to Islam the right thing to do is worship the true God or don't. Allah has given you free will. You will be judged in the hereafter but Allah has given you every freedom to choose whatever you want to do no one will stop you. Allah says in the Quran: "There is no compulsion in religion."
Free will means you're allowed to do anything you want however you like but that doesn't mean it will not have consequences. Allah has described this world as a test for humanity.
Imagine you have a test tomorrow, you have all the freedom to either study or watch movies all night but whatever you decide to do according to your free will you will have equal results and consequences.
Once you understand the definition of free will you will not write this comment again.

@XYZABC Singh Are you reading with your mind shut? I just answered it. Free will does not mean there will be no consequences.
Free will means person is allowed to make any decision he wants, If a person leaves Islam do you think God will come and pull his leg that you can't leave it?? Many people left Islam and still leave Islam daily. Is God stopping them make this decision?

Also society needs to come out with marriage law so people understand that children under 16 should not be getting married, men need an age becaouse they can't tell difference between children and women lol so they need to be limited... reform laws especially in villages... All they talk about is marriage even kids ... What they need is a distraction careers, jobs and group trips to holiday resorts.... as there are some beautiful places in Pakistan but women in particular havent even stepped out of villages... So many girls know how to ride motor cycles in their yard they should have riding groups women only and attend self defence classes too.. Soo much can be done but soo less funding

when I was little I was sexually harassed by my aunt's father, I remember telling my father, the only thing they did was get me away from him. No police reports. Even today I am forced to greet him every time I see him

Madrassa schools should be closed- they are heat scores! This father breaks my heart and he is a very devoted father!

Actually you're right...what you said would certainly make people here angry but it's so true that madrassas are mostly used only for such abominable activities since government doesn't pay much attention to these institutes and people who graduate from here are not really able to do much in the professional world
