as a proud owner of a 2019 i30 fastback n if you are on the fence do not hesitate in one of the most fun cars ever to drive. you dont even have to speed to have fun, find a nice windy rd and just carve it up!

Seems to ride and handle great on those super smooth GERMAN? roads but not sure with those 19" wheels and stiffened suspension how it will cope with bumpy UK B roads.
owned a Hyundai i20 Active car which I bought in august 2017 and since the beginning there are a lot of issues with the car paint and ac especially, whoever person I met and whenever we discuss, everybody having these two common issues. Just after 2 years, my ac failed where I have driven Maruti and Ford cars for more than 10 years and there was not a single issue with those cars during the entire span. Hyundai is the worst with this quality. Need your support to take it to Hyundai forum where you can get some solution.
Has the gearbox problem been resolved? Doesn't anyone say anything about it, or the steaming headlights? I don't want it to be mean, but the car disappointed me a bit when it was hard to get into gear, I went to Hyundai service and they still didn't solve the problem as it should! :(

I went to the service and they changed the synchronous. but I still don't like how it changes gears, it hangs when entering gears, in gear 1 sometimes it gets stuck between speeds (somewhere in the middle). I went to Hyundai service and now they told me that the box changes well. I am very dissapointed.
It is worrying for Australian talent, in particular for the younger generation, that they haven't been offered an opportunity to design, engineer, and manufacturer even a small vehicle locally in Australia and that a Korean player has been receiving support from the Australian Government instead. It is so appalling! Besides, Hyundai together with ACCC in Australia made consumer drivers put their lives at risk by having them 'drive vehicles with potentially faculty airbags' to the dealerships for a fix.
Doesnt increasing the camber help lap times but at a cost of reduce tyre life span IF you use the car primarily as a daily/commuter? Lazy hyundai not spending the extra few $$ on a dual axis setup.
What is the point of making the car soooooooo technically difficult to setup??? No one wants to sit there setting up all these shift pojnts, rev settings etc etc for 5minutes before driving!!!..... why not just make a simple performance car? Rear biased 4wd, turbo charged, manual or dct, one setting for the engine, gearbox, suspension etc....... i.e make a car with todays technology, but with 90's basicness

I believe their focus for North America is SUVs. Just based off their market research, they wouldn't profit much from selling a fast hatchback.

Needs some interior customisation options over the dull dark interior is why i have the Mini Cooper S it's interior makes me smile too.
Dont care about fun interior colors whilw driving. I added led strips inside for mood lighting. Rest looks fine.
