He makes a really good point about records requests. Even though, technically, they are *your* (citizens, the public) records, the Government will make the process of obtaining them difficult and lengthy.. just because they can.
@@BCarnes To test the state’s compliance with records requests. If an officer uses his personal device to take photos of people on duty.. those pictures becomes public records.
@@BCarnes your personal phone is your personal phone. If you use it for work related circumstances, it is not your personal property anymore. The public can have access to it and there may be compromising things in it that can get a cop fired or in jail. In a nut shell, leave people alone and stop these retaliation tactics of "I am taking your picture and will enter you in our data base and if you have warrants, I will be coming for you."

I concur with what you're saying. It makes it all worth watching the video to see the outcome and the follow-up afterward all in the same video! I wish everybody did this and was as detailed in their step by step processes and interactions on these types of videos.

Like James said, the AG doesn't really GAS if the records custodian does her job or not. The entire City staff is collecting full pay, and should be working. Even though she failed to meet her responsibilities according to NM State law, she is after all a -sovereign citizen- City employee, and therefore immune to penalty for not doing her job.
