It’s awesome that Grabbed by the Ghoulies is included in Rare Replay. It was really fun and playing it just makes me wish more Xbox original titles found their way onto the Series X and S.
Love your channel dedicated to the OG Xbox, I grew up with it as my main console and especially with the rep of modern Xbox I feel isolated like I’m the only one who enjoyed it, glad to see others and even channels enjoy the console as well
Thank you for reviewing Grabbed by the Ghoulies. I rented it with almost no information back in the day, and ended up having alot of fun! It was years later that I found out wasn't a success for Rare and they even poke fun at themselves for making it. Shame cause it really is a decent game with a specific vibe that's hard to find. Deserves all the attention it can get nowadays.
Hehe. I love that House of the Dead 2 is bundled as an unlockable after beating the main campaign in House of the Dead 3! It was during that time where light guns was starting to fade away because of CRT screens being much different than arcade screens so I enjoy seeing this genre represented in some forms! It was a great 6th generation exclusive title (since it did come onto Wii as HOTD 2+3 Returns as well). The Thing was a great movie licensed title and I’m glad the source material was done justice. I do often wonder how loved Silent Hill 4 since it’s a different and I haven’t heard much about it. I hope one day that Grabbed by the Ghoulies get a sequel one day… In terms of more horror on OG Xbox you haven’t covered, there was the two Buffy the Vampire Slayer that were well received (the first one done by The Collective of course), the two Hunter the Reckoning titles, Evil Dead Regeneration, and the odd Land of the Dead title (which was also on PC and was covered by one other UA-camr 10 years ago). Make sure to cover Fatal Frame 2 Special Edition and Bloodrayne 2 if you can find them for cheap! They are both well worth the retrospective they absolutely deserve! Enormous shoutout to Peter Jackson King Kong! What a great survival horror title and movie tie in game! They took inspiration with the hud-less screen from Riddick and applied to King Kong and turned out great! Shame Ubisoft changed for the worst nowadays…
SH4 is a very misunderstood sequel that is made by Team Silent. I still liked the game back then, and I want to revist it someday. Also I am very excited to play The Thing when it comes out on modern consoles.

@@scary_fuEhh I disagree. Personally, I feel this is a take that’s come about from everyone getting swept up in the celebration of SH2. Fantastic game and thematically in line with people who are not of sound mind, but the voice acting is just as bad as other Japanese games from that generation.
I have played House of the Dead III and BloodRayne. Both of those games are a fucking blast to play! For the former I always turn the gore setting to red! :)
GbtG is a game I always recommend. It got a lot of shade when it came out, but I thoroughly enjoyed it as a fun little Rare-styled romp. An underappreciated game IMO.
I saw the Bloodrayne movies, they are ok but nothing more. The Game was a bit clunky in some ways but i finished it back on the pc :) I wonder what ur thoughts are on part 2
Most of them are bangers imo.Hod3 was just funas hell with a friend,i prefer bloodrayne 2 improvements but story of the first.Never got around to the thing but love the movie lookig forward to the remaster.

I couldn't get into Silent Hill 4 at all. One of the worst horror games I've played. I really like The Thing and The House of the dead III though. Fatal Frame 1 & 2, Call of Cthulhu Dark Corners of the Earth, Cold Fear, and Obscure are cool too.

SH 4 is my favorite in the series. It like the game version of Room 1408.

And you can run the lightgun on a flat screen on wii.

King Kong is a very interesting choice, but I definitely feel that one.
I really loved hunter the reckoning wayward on PS2, bet they're good on Xbox too

Remember my father downloaded, yes we had a chipped Xbox & were very naughty, SH4 and it was my first real introduction into horror. Amazing game!
