The speaker “Upgrade” I recommend buying at your own risk. When I got the speaker upgrade, it became distorted at half volume or higher, while the stock speaker didn’t. Maybe it could have been damaged, but I recommend testing the stock speaker first.
Very true! If your stock speaker sounds good to you then you don't need to mess around with upgrading. I recently got one for a friend and noticed that the stock speaker was better than the first 2 I had bought.
There are surprisingly a few people selling the OG miyoo mini in my area on FB marketplace and was able to get one for $40. Looks like the Etsy seller also has a case for this model as well so thanks for the recommendation. What I love about this device is I can play RPG games in one hand 😂 like a cellphone. But playing fighting games on a tiny device like this was very hard, to the point where I have to put my pointer fingers on the top of the screen, so I'm hoping the grip case helps.
Yeah it can be hard to find those now. Being able to play RPGs one handed is an awesome benefit and I might have to get one now as that is my favorite genre.
I have tried that speaker model upgrade but for the plus is not really neccesary to do from my experience, since the sound is pretty much the same. Tried even with audio resampling as well At least it has the same volume level as stock
Yeah, the volume does not noticeably increase. But the sound quality does just a bit at least. But yeah, depending on how sensitive you are to sound quality, it may not be worth it.
thanks for the accessories suggestions! Also, I'm anticipating the Miyoo Flips' release after December, and I've been thinking its GBAsp design removes the need for a case and screen protector...but idk anymore ;) thumbs up & sub'd
Question... I know it comes with a charging cable. But not a block to plug into. So what is a recommended one to charge mine with? Because I got two Ambernics and they both blew out assuming it was my chargers. I'm hoping this Miyoo M+ battery lasts longer then a week. 😅
I have heard rumors fast charger blocks causing that to happen. however, I have not seen any conclusive evidence. If you want to play it save I would recommend a 5v 1.5a charger.
I don't understand people buying small little devices then complain their hands hurt so they get a grip which makes it look ugly. But what exactly are you going to do while using that case as a stand?
I can't speak for everyone, but for me I like having the small device to carry in my pocket. Now, I would not call the case pretty, but I personally don't find it ugly, and I like the added functionality. As for the stand, some people watch shows or movies on it and could see it be useful there. I would not argue it's a better experience than just watching it on your phone, but hey some people like that type of stuff. The other reason would just have it on your desk if you were going to use it around the house and not need the case or grip.
Good question. I should have covered that. There are notches on the grip case where it makes contact with the back of the Miyoo Mini. Those notches hold it in place by kind of socketing into the grooves that are on the battery case. So the hold is pretty strong.
They are currently sold out. However, here is the link. www.etsy.com/listing/1215555181/nintendo-gameboy-label-aufkleber-sticker?show_sold_out_detail=1&ref=nla_listing_details Just a heads up. If you use the grip case make sure to not put the sticker on too close to the sides to avoid the case moving the sticker when using it as a grip.
If you are talking about the Miyoo Mini plus. Yeah, there is a wide variety of different kinds of handheld emulators. This is one of the cheapest and can play up to PS1 games.
Yeah, I wish it could. We are not there yet. As of right now this can go only to PS1 games. For GameCube I would say the cheapest device would be the Odin Lite which cost around 200$ and id quite a bit larger. These smaller devices should get some more powerful over the years though.
Yeah, I should have mentioned that with the USB charging plug from the dock installed there is a small gap when the case closes. Without the plug there is no gap. However, the case still securely closes and is tight and will not open by accident. Because the case is 3d printed you can also sandpaper the port hole to fix this If this is an issue for anyone.
Fantastic video, I bought the gripcase and the orico case
Awesome! Yeah, I love that they work well together.

There is also a lanyard that I got through Etsy that comes with a longer screw and it attaches with that screw.
I had not seen that one. That sounds like another good option.
Which one did you buy?
@@alejandrocastillo3142 I got the one from Sunny3DStore.

Welcome and Thank you!
I've found that a miyoo mini plus fits nicely in the soft case that came with the PSP.
That's awesome. I never owned a PSP but it was one of those devices I always wanted.
The grip case is what I need

Thanks! Yeah, the Miyoo Flip looks awesome. The one thing I really hope they get right is the hinge design.

The grip case, how snug is the hold in grip mode?
