I met this Phenomenon woman back in 2006 when I was an extra on Izoso Connexion, she is indeed this open, friendly, positive and warm person. Thank you Mr. King David
Met her at UJ. She was from our dance studio. She was in a gym outfit. I smiled at her and was shy to talked to her. I think she saw through me because she smiled and waved to me. I was shook she looked so young and energetic in real life.
What Mam Nandi is referring to in her childhood and how she was treated by her aunt is what we refer to as TRAUMA. She is testimony that you can CHOOSE for your past to MAKE or BREAK you.
If I was a food company, I would advertise my food on this channel, I would deliver healthy food so that people can stay and talk some more. Loved this conversation ❤

I remember vividly the scene from Zone 14 when Mama Nandi was pleading with her daughter not to abandon school as she suffered the shame of always buying a newspaper in the train and read it upside down 😢 💔
My mom and aunt's upbringing is so similar. At the hands of their grandma and friends that they were left with. 😔She's so bubbly and seems to have forgiven her aunt. Apartheid times were tough on children.

Mme Nandi, this is by far one of the best interviews so relaxed that she is even willing to speak about stuff she has never divulged to anyone…
