I read the segment about Gene's Cowboy Code and the list of all he did to get to where he got. "WOW!" I'm 74 and enjoyed reading it. Gene Autry was something else. I love YOU TUBE.
Originally released in January 1953. Gene was filming a number of theatrical movies at the time, and didn't have the time to film any new episodes of his TV series that season (although new episodes of his "MELODY RANCH" radio show continued). Once his Columbia contract ended, he concentrated on TV and radio exclusively.
Howdy y’all it’s the cowpoke that starred in this film! I am happy it is getting attention. Myself and all other actors and singers of my time are much more talented than a lot of those city lovin brats that are today’s celebrities.
En Español si es buena recuerda todos no hablamos inglés! yo Veía las REVISTAS de GENE AUTRY MUY BUENAS!! Y ROY ROGERS! RED RIDERG! Vakeritas en Español,,, Saludos dsd Venezuela! La TIERRA del Amor!!
You should have seen this film when it was initially syndicated for television in the late 1950's. Local stations loaded the movie with commercials! And if it was presented in an hour-long time slot, some of the film was edited to fit an hour {Gene's songs were usually omitted}.
I never get tired of watching Gene Autry movies. I like to hear him and Smiley sing.

Another one of Gene's great movies. I love to watch Gene and Smiley, Smiley was funny always getting in trouble. "Gene!" Hey Gene!"

Buttful music is very important Mrs Hopkins 1min yes 👍
Love the Jeep commercial!
Smiley never could hit the broad side of a barn.
He seemed to hit 2 of the six riders, they both fell off. Then magically, when the baddies pulled up, there were 5 of them, not four!
