YOUNG LADY!!!! You have the talent to bring people together and share your life in a very relatable way!! You make me feel better than any other UA-camRS!!! You’re the real mom with a real budget and real day to day challenges !!!! This is a great talent to be able share with all of us who appreciates hearing this!! I know why I always come back to Lydia my OG YT Mama because you are my neighbor! My friend! Also yea to the books! And yay for your anniversary and son’s birthday!!!❤🎉🙏
Well put.
Yes! Books, please 📚 Thanks.
You give me chills with your authenticity Lydia ❤️ 💙 💜 Your content is so meaningful and matters ✨️ 💕
Thank you so much, Kristi.
This ☺️👆
Driving in the car, able to have an uninterrupted conversation-YES!!! As a mom of 4 kids ages 6 and under, that is the very best/most helpful date for strengthening our marriage.
Thanks for bringing reality into better focus, talking about the hard things and also highlighting and treasuring the beauty in the everyday, small moments that add up to magic. Have a beautiful Advent season!
Lydia u are WAY too humble! You have many talents.
My man is exactly like that 😂 Cooking, gardening, baking, home improvement
Love your new haircut! Love your humor and levity. Thank you so much for providing these tools and check-in questions. Listening to your monthly reset is now a new monthly must do for me! You're a treasure, Lydia.
This is so sweet, thank you Diane.
You matter to me too.
❤️
Asking for help is a huge struggle for me too!
Why are we like this????
Just chiming in to say: Lydia, you're a woman of many talents also. A lot of the time, we don't consider things that come natural to us as particularly special etc., but you're a wonderful person and (imo) the best relationships are those in which people complement one another!
Definitely relate to having a handy husband and being...uh, less so. When I mentioned it he said, "You do stuff too. You can stretch a dollar." Never really thought of that as a contribution before.
You have that skill too--dollar stretching and administrative skills and tech skills and the whole mama package skillset. I know that's bad grammar, but I gotta send because this is my tiny window to read a book.
As always, thank you.
May God bless you with as many subscribers as you want.
I love your hair!
Thank you
YES!!!! To book recaps!! ❤️📚
“Rather bleed out in the front yard than ask for help”--YES! Totally identify with this. I hate to bother other people or seem “needy”. I think you are wise, kind & full of grace. Blessings to you & your family!
And yet I bet you’re the first one to step up and give help.
That's me. I have a horrible time asking for help. I am trying to be better. I have realized recently that I have passed that on to my 17 yr old. She told me she doesn't like to ask for help......
She learned from me.
So I am working on it.
I ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️this video. Authenticity seems to diminish often as channels become ‘more successful’. I can always count on you Lydia when I need to feel better 🥰. “Nothing happened this year that I planned, and everything that happened was not planned”. We need to give ourselves grace and leave space for the magic.
Yes please do a round up of books, I always trust your recommendations. Love your channel you add lot of value to a lot of us ❤
"Rather bleed out on the front yard than ask for help"🤣🤣🤣👍Me too🙋🏼♀️😂
Love you. Great video as always. Thank you for your content and resources❤
(Side note: You have the most beautiful teeth, lol. Hope that doesn't sound weird to say, but you do😂)
Thank you. ❤️
Thank you for choosing your family. It is hard sometimes, but it is worth it all. ❤🎉❤
You want to go get a coffee ☕🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 so hilarious! Reminds me of us but flipped around lol 🤣 absolutely love your openness! Blessings to y'all 🥰and great video! 👍
Thank you
@@TheRealLydiaSenn Absolutely 🥰 you're welcome!
Thank YOU for being here, Lydia! I think you are truly rich, even if you don't have a million dollar book deal, etc. Those things are fleeting and your precious family is not.
Funny (kinda sad) story, I opened a Roth IRA at 16 at a local bank. I had no idea how they worked, I just knew Dave Ramsey told me to do it. 😂 It was just a savings account. I went 10+ years before someone at the bank was like, "You have this as a savings account?! You need to have it as an investment account." Oops...
Thanks for sharing this with us...Happy Holidays 🥰
Happy Holidays.
Hi Lydia! I’ve been watching your videos for about 9 years now, I have learned so much. Thank you for all the content and advice, I can say that I’m financially stable now but nine years ago with my 3 yr old and newborn baby, watching your videos helped a lot. Thank you❤
Oh wow. Thank you.
Yes I’d like a book wrap up.
I'll see what I can do.
Always enjoy watching your resets, they always inspire me to get my home/family life reset for the month 😊 Also, love the hair cut!
Yes please share the book wrap-up! I love to see what people have been reading 📚 😊
Even if the video topic isn’t of interest, I love listening to your videos! Your voice is so calming and your attitude is motivating. I always get something useful out of them. Thanks for being you!
You still give us good advice on how to live frugally .May your family always come first !
You have a wonderful heart ❤ and I appreciate your kind, honest and supportive way
Thank you so much!
Yes, I’m all about a book list!! 📚📚
Love your vids. As a special needs mom I live a very "different" life but it's a GREAT life. ❤️ I also want to encourage you that, at least in my experience, 30s decade = striving & juggling 40s decade = a more settled place (less plates spinning maybe? Idk)
The 60's decade... retirement is pretty cool:). Grandkids go out to dinner with you I'd spend the night occasionally and then go home. Lol. My hubs had a stroke a couple of years ago and while life looks different for us it's still pretty great!
I got the chills when you talked about the rubber vs glass ball and that your family is the one you're not letting go of. I always appreciate your honest, real take on things, and that you acknowledge challenges that might not seem apparent when we only look at the 'outside' of things. 🧡
Yes, I’d love a wrap up of your favorite books
I would LOVE to see a video on the book you made for your kids!!!!!!
Wow, bleed out in the front yard before I ask for help. I've honestly never heard a more relatable thing on the internet.
Why are we like this???
Would love a book wrap up.
Yes to book wrap up!!!
Yes, please do a wrap up on your favorite books, I need some ideas. Thanks!
And good video :--)
BTW, your hair looks great!!!
Thank you for your wisdom and your sharing.
Hey lady! I love you and your videos!!
I hope you are better than okay and remembering to breathe!
Yes, please on the book wrapup video! I read booklovers and enjoyed it. It’s the only Emily Henry book I I have read, so nothing to compare to.
Thank you, you are amazing, you have been such a blessing to me just being you, you keep it real, and I don’t feel alone. Thank you!
Love your video. I also have a hard time asking for help. My boss has called me out on it several times. I stress myself out because of it. I’ve worked hard the past two years and I’m doing better with asking for help and delegating. Happy birthday to your son and happy anniversary! Thank you for your content!
Thank you
Fantastic video... Half an hour ago I was walking down the stains with a step ladder and a screwdriver in my hand after changing a light bulb... And I thought hmmm if I fall I'm holding this screwdriver in such a way I'll stab myself... I'm not going to call for help, I'll just bleed out....
I'm good. I'm fine. Nothing to see here
Thank you for sharing Lydia 👍 I'm interested in how you see things. I like different, not less than, just different. There's freedom in it to just be yourself 😊 Your turn of phrase makes me laugh. May your December be the December it's going to be 😂
Thank you so much, Sandra. You are a gem.
Miss Lydia you have more than talent you are gifted!
Yes pls talk about your favorite books for this year
I love your hair! My sweet 15 year old has a similar cut, and it's so becoming! I appreciate these monthly videos. It helps me put my time spent into perspective, too. Merry Christmas to you and yours ❤️

This month I'll finish my book and Christmas will be small this year grandkids are getting older so I'm not buying toy's only what I know they need
Books please!
I did really good on my grocery budget, I usually spend $350-$400 and I only spent $200, I started reading a book but I didn't finish it
Can you share what your gifting your children this year, I have a ton of nieces and nephews and I’m stuck
I have questions about OWA 🤣 have you been to the indoor park? Do you like the outdoor park?
The week before Thanksgiving we were that way and I wanted to take the kid, but I was way to cold 🤣 I want to go in April when we come back.
I’ve not done the water park.
💚💚💚
I think everyone asks for experiences over toys as gifts but the reality is they are often more expensive than a toy. Even a simple children’s museum pass for a year was $150. I gave that to my niece but she is an only child. So a family membership was more than most people can afford to give as a gift for a single child. They also did not seem to sell individual memberships. Only family memberships. Of course I know she will enjoy it all year round and saves the parents from paying entrance fees. But man oh man it was expensive gift. I actually think a contribution to a 529 is a better gift because people, can give what they would have spent on a physical gift and it is a gift that grows in the future. But just my take. No one has ever given my kids museum passes or a 529 contribution 😂
They *can be more expensive if you're doing something like an entire annual pass. But the bounce park gift card cost $25. Here are some fun experience gifts my kids have gotten.
- A gift card to go get a frozen yogurt
- a Barnes and Nobel card attached to a cookie from the B&E bakery telling them to ask their mom to take them to pick out a new chapter book- $10-$15.
- A magazine subscription $20 on Amazon.
- A pack of colored pencils and an art class on Outschool -$20
- Sonic gift card to go get a fun drink after school - $5
They don't have to be expensive gift cards. My best friend gave my kids a gift card to Baskin Robbins cause she knows I refuse to buy one ice cream cone that costs more than a whole container of ice cream. 😁
You are choosing to be famous at home. ❤❤
Yes!
I love your videos Lydia. On a side note, your teeth are beautiful and so white - what’s your secret? Thanks. Vikki
They look more white on camera. But it’s genetic.
If you know, you know 😂
Oh you knoooooow.
Lydia has no skills she says while she is recording on her UA-cam channel and advertising her merchandise for her self made business,.. the one she started while she was also looking after her children….
Right Lydia….
