Your previous sanctum hexblast mine character was one of the most satisfying builds I've ever played, so I'm looking forward to its return with sanctum core!

Either way gonna league start one of your builds and would love to see you do it too and also have the ability to ask and compare in the early days of the league. Love Sandstorm Visage so much. I'm really excited for the new league mechanic, but even if it sucks, the league is going to be amazing. Can't wait to get back into the Forbidden Sanctum!
speaking as someone with terrible reflexes, the fact that you can potentially tank some of the incidental hits gives me hope for actually finishing a Sanctum for once. Just need to figure out a build.
Hello. Great build thanks for the idea. Added skierbots and precision for crit and + damage. It became 10k hp but the damage increased. I would also like to add some def mechanics, except for HP and freezing.
I'm pretty sure this league gonna be " 3.22 Sanctum Again" it was sooo damn good. I'm so hyped. Btw, i played your Icicle mine build for hitless run back in sanctum league. And it was also good for any boss rushes:)
I’m testing Sabo now. Feels good so far and should be better with Sandstorm. Should be able to avoid the entire rathpit, dissolution of flesh tech completely.
Sanctum return in 3.22 makes me so happy. Hope rewards won't be crushed and tomes will be easily accessible in the trade league. I will play ice trap occultist, should also be ok for sanctum.

I used a HoT Autobomber to run through Sanctums during that league, was super smooth. Bit fishy on the no hit run though but no resolve run was easy peasy.
Hopefully sanctum has boons that matter and isn't a boring loop where nothing matters besides a dps check. It can rain divines, but it needs updates to feel like a real mechanic
as far as im aware they are adding a lot of different boons aswell as changing the mechanic to where evasion/armour and energy shield matter, also there will be more layouts compared to the previous sanctum where almost every room was extremely predictable
@@EverydayIsDayOnemain issue was once you had dps, resolve didn't matter and you dont interact with the mechanic. Most boons either gave coins or resolve/shield. even if the rewards are nerfed i'll still live in sanctum at least the same amount as maps. i never got tired of sanctum, just got tired of collecting and speeding through maps to get there.
My absolutely biggest issue as well. I hate being wasteful, and just bumrushing sanctum floors in maps always felt awful. Do we know if Sandstorm Visage will be back in the game as well? It allowed for some pretty fun builds. I really enjoyed crit doomblast with it, very satisfying (profane bloom), cheap (at least then) and fast build (shield charge with high AS), which allowed me to farm up for some more costly chars.
can i start with trickster Toxic rain or trickster chaos ED/Contagion? (before the transition a hexblast mine) or its better start with saboteur mines?

i want to play sanctum this league since i cant play while sanctum came out in 3.20 . so i want to ask if i play freezing pulse/ice spear totem hierophant build can run sanctum?
@@CaptainLance9 yes, but compare it to what they were in heist makes me think a lot of power was lost. i understand that they are still profitable, but i don't think are as profitable as they were during heist league.
ya, but the fact that we need to kill all rares in the sanctum to proceed to the next map will slow down a good chunk, since you will need to hunt the rare monsters
I'd wager a few divines the first days, dropping extremely quickly to 20-30c by the end of day 2-3, something very similar to indigon. Assuming the drop rates have not been rebalanced, sandstorm was very common and can't really be worth more than a couple of tomes. However, if the tomes are rare enough, it might take a little more time to settle down. It's likely that the price will see a 20-50% bump over the next weeks and stay there due to people starting to quit the league and not dropping tomes, and the demand increasing for valuable corruption outcomes, but at the point bad corruptions will be dirt cheap.
If you won't drop The Original Sin this time, I am going to boycott next league. Also, hexblast miner was my favourite build ever. First lvl 100, first 40/40 challenges, first mageblood farmed. Tens of thousands of alts to roll +1 to all on amulet, only to roll past it. Can't wait for it to come back.
Is sanctum farming actuallly gonna be insane if there are no original sin runs? No need for a char like this since there are no 1hit runs might aswell play some more relaxed build if you are running sanctums nonstop. I did storm brand last league and did multiple nohit runs. It was alot faster and smoother than hexblast mines
I have ZERO understanding on why that Hexblast Mine Saboteur works like at all its fun to play but like i have no idea how it works. 1 Why am i not killing myself with my mines if it removes a good 1000 hp for every mine and im throwing like 3 at a time 2 Why am i not being 1 shot by every mob? If I'm constantly on less than 1000hp 3 is the only reason i use the fire pen sup gem for the explosive expert ascendancy? 4 with only 3k armor how can i tank damage that my 500k armor stacker cant tank? How doe any of this work?
Took me a long time too but most of your question are related on how Dissolution interract with skill, Eternal Youth and life reservation. Their a lot of video on Dissolution (think captain lance as one) 1 Dissolution of the flesh make you reserve your life pool only when you take damage basically not cost of skills so you still have your life for defense 2 Dissolution of the flesh reserve life so your at ‘’14k’’ life even if your life pool looks empty 3 Hexblast use the lowest ele res for monster and awaken fire pen give exposure 4 Massive life pool and berzerk plus Eternal youth recharge (not regen so by passe Koam) that give you base 33% life recharge per sec since you never take damage and only take life reservation
kicking off the video with so much wishful thinking is a bold move, making it self-sustainable would be unlike anything GGG ever did. completely impossible imo, also get ready for the rewards to suck lmao, come on lance you've been playing this game for a while, you know how GGG does things also nice "forbidden trove" at 6:45
very speculative but I don't think im too far off on my hunch just based on the "2 additional tomes" also at one point they announced sanctum as a separate mechanic to run along side delve/mapping suggesting they wanted to potentially represent a semi self sustaining system. but wont know 100% till launch obviously
@@CaptainLance9 My guess is that since you have to defeat 2nd phase final boss to complete now, it's probably not going to be guaranteed drops of the challenge run items anymore. Would be nice if it was though.
Im also quite hype that sanctum is back, but thinking GGG would let us selfsustain them in sanctum itself is grade A copium :')
This. I just hope the rewards and drop rates weren't nerfed too hard

Just pick occultist and assassin. Then you have the best of both worlds but I personally felt the occultist is king on hexblast mines
I have ZERO understanding on why that Hexblast Mine Saboteur works like at all its fun to play but like i have no idea how it works.
1 Why am i not killing myself with my mines if it removes a good 1000 hp for every mine and im throwing like 3 at a time
2 Why am i not being 1 shot by every mob? If I'm constantly on less than 1000hp
3 is the only reason i use the fire pen sup gem for the explosive expert ascendancy?
4 with only 3k armor how can i tank damage that my 500k armor stacker cant tank?
How doe any of this work?
Took me a long time too but most of your question are related on how Dissolution interract with skill, Eternal Youth and life reservation. Their a lot of video on Dissolution (think captain lance as one)
1 Dissolution of the flesh make you reserve your life pool only when you take damage basically not cost of skills so you still have your life for defense
2 Dissolution of the flesh reserve life so your at ‘’14k’’ life even if your life pool looks empty
3 Hexblast use the lowest ele res for monster and awaken fire pen give exposure
4 Massive life pool and berzerk plus Eternal youth recharge (not regen so by passe Koam) that give you base 33% life recharge per sec since you never take damage and only take life reservation
poggy my doggy
kicking off the video with so much wishful thinking is a bold move, making it self-sustainable would be unlike anything GGG ever did. completely impossible imo, also get ready for the rewards to suck lmao, come on lance you've been playing this game for a while, you know how GGG does things
also nice "forbidden trove" at 6:45
Sounds like someone who doesn't invest in his Atlas Passive Tree
very speculative but I don't think im too far off on my hunch just based on the "2 additional tomes" also at one point they announced sanctum as a separate mechanic to run along side delve/mapping suggesting they wanted to potentially represent a semi self sustaining system. but wont know 100% till launch obviously
@@CaptainLance9 My guess is that since you have to defeat 2nd phase final boss to complete now, it's probably not going to be guaranteed drops of the challenge run items anymore. Would be nice if it was though.
What about shockwave totems
