This was also my most anticipated book of this year! The way she has written grief on a character thats missed but has wronged really hits home with me. She continues to amaze me with her complicated, morally grey characters.
the ashes and the star cursed king did deserve its own vlog, it is a magnificent book i have thought about it every day ever since i finished reading it 💕
I'm about 1/4 through Carissa Broadbent book #2, and Septimus is a interested character and I want his backstory. I hope she does a book on him. I do not trust him but I also think hes ridiculously clever and knows far more than hes telling.
I finished this book a couple of days ago and I can’t get into another book since! I can’t stop thinking about this duet! Carissa Broadbent is now one of my favorite authors ❤
I was so afraid to read the second one just because the anxiety of getting heartbroken at the end but I just bought the hard cover of this book after watched your video thank u so much It’s gonna be a good investment fs
I will have to definitely read this series once I am back in my fantasy reading mood. I have tried to pick up two different fantasy books and I just can’t get into them but I pick up a different genre and loving it 🌓
I’m on chapter 56 of 80 and I came to UA-cam to check reviews because I feel like I’m just not enjoying it like I did the first. Maybe I just have to keep going.
I loved it sooo much too❤ I am also sad that Raihn and Oraya's story is over and really hope to see a lot of them in the future😢 I am picking up Slaying the Vampire Conqueror next🌚🌗
Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros is my next fantasy read for May! 🖤🖤🖤 I'm so excited!! I hope you get to read it too! Can't wait for some more fun bookish vlogs! 🤗🦋🌷💜🌕🌔🌓🌒🌑🌗🌖 Btw- that bookmark of Feyre and Rhysand-!!!! OMG! 😭😍 I thought in my mind "What other awesome bookmarks does she have?" I saw one booktuber do a cool video of all the bookish art/ bookmarks/mugs and stuff she collected from those book mail unboxings from like owl crate and others... Will you be posting anything like this? 🙊💕
It was picked up by a publisher so they’re re-releasing in June under the new publishing company. I think when she first published it was through an indie route
I got the hardcover copy and I’m so upset with the quality. Paper is this super thin, see-through butcher paper or something. This book is 100 pages longer than the serpent book and this one is somehow smaller, that’s how thin the pages are. AND the paper is a diff color than the pages of the serpent book so it doesn’t match. It’s terrible quality. Otherwise, I liked the story.
okay wait why does the tress of the emerald sea sound like it would be right up my alley?? please do i need to get this book are you kidding me right now is this really a thing i’m doing
i feel like there’s a potential for a septimus redemption arc. i feel like there’s more to him. but also if he’s just the big bad villain then that’s cool too 😅

Clicked so fast, I just read this book last week eeek
ahhh thank you ☺️🫶🏻 it’s sooo good!!
Why can’t I find this book available anywhere? It says it doesn’t release until June but people have owned it for over 9 months.
It was picked up by a publisher so they’re re-releasing in June under the new publishing company. I think when she first published it was through an indie route
Your book recommendation for someonw getting into fantasy?
Oh great question…so many fantasy books are 500+ pages with lots of world building!
@@shellykeyes8389 quite intimidating
@@mariyajaveedkhan159 indeed! I’ve only read a few fantasy books based on Rachel’s recommendations but they were really good!
some good intro to fantasy books are throne of glass, the cruel prince, legendborn, & six of crows ☺️
From Rachel’s recommendation list, I’ve read Legendborn & The Cruel Prince; both were excellent!
What the heck how is everyone getting this book?! Everywhere I look it only offers pre-order & says it won’t arrive until June!
It’s been picked up by a publisher so they’re doing a re-release under the new company. It was originally released independently by herself
🌙
IM SO JEALOUS OF EVERYONE WHO HAS READ FHIS!! … when it’s been five days and my Amazon order still hasn’t shipped🥲
ahhh omg bestie you’re going to love it!!!
