It’s a special place, and you could do most of it in a standard 4WD, with decent tyres, snorkel if your looking at deep crossing’s, not sure if that helps? We’re planning another trip, when the seasonal closures are over, Limestone Creek to Dargo, Billy Goat Bluff to Blue Rag, then see how we’re tracking. We did the trip your watching over 4 days(still only saw a tiny portion), and definitely recommend planning to have a minimum 3-4 days in the High Country.
Geoff and I, are in auto’s. My 80 has a lock up kit, which has no issues. Geoff’s Patrol, doesn’t, he relies on the abs and redline, so it’s not great. We wouldn’t attempt any, very steep tracks with Geoff’s Patrol, in wet/slippery conditions, which is why I run up front as the test dummy. But there are so many tracks/places, so you can always find a way around to a great camp. The Hema paper maps, are absolutely brilliant for this.
awesome guys, hill climb and some bog holes👍
Thank you. Gotta love a good bog hole, although it’s not great for the rigs
