Its great to hear that you guys are planning to go places again, good for you!
You have to realize when shopping for anything for the home the lighting in the showroom will be different than the lighting at your home, also day time lighting will be different than night time lighting. Different lighting will effect the color of anything.
My Inlaws live in Skem so 4.5 hour drive from Portsmouth (where i am from), always try and combine it with a Blackpool or Southport trip.
Thats quite a bit of sun fading. So glad you are going to have a nice break away, and have planned another trip - EDIB.
I like a little varyity and prefer to inject a little personality with one unique item in the room, an accent chair that is opposite of everything else hits the spot! I would try a little color for the accent chair. Plus I love my Laz-Y-Boy recliner!
Furniture shopping is a pain. You want to see things in person to try them out but usually, things are only online. Can't wait to hear about your upcoming trips! ❤

I know how you feel about the lodge shaking in the bad weather. I live in a park home and it does the same when the weather is bad. It’s frightening, especially at night.

Just a thought about the candle soot when you blow your candles out. Have you tried a candle snuffer??? Plus do you trim your wicks? No innuendo intended lol x

I'm glad you are going for a holiday, it will be nice to go away for a while and spend time with family. I can't wait for the trip reveal! I have a feeling it's Florida! I think you would like Norfolk/Norwich. I live on the outskirts of Norwich and we have some nice beaches in Norfolk, Norwich has some great shops and places to eat and the Norfolk Broads are lovely in summer - you can hire a boat out on the Broads and I feel like you'd love that!xx

Looking forward to your views on skelmersdale or “skem” as it’s known. It’s a throwback to the 70s/80s when the town was built. It’s never modernised 😂
Love Bath and Bodyworks here in Canada. I only buy the candles or soaps when they are on sale though. Usually can get them for $14 each. They last me at least a month, so I think that's pretty good.

Can you explain what the procedure is for ordering Amazon in the US with a UK account,always finding things that aren’t available in UK store but shipping from US ££££ .Brown sauce on the cheese on toast is definitely needed
Do you know what is the difference between Shops Away and Virgin Red?
I do the same with my bread. I hated throwing bread out and freezing avoids that.
