Cool video guys! Europapark is definitely better than Disney Paris! Many more attractions and countless details for young and old, brilliant roller coasters, water and dark rides, better food, cheaper prices and so on. Our top 5 in Europe.....

Disney actually copied Germany for a lot of their themes the Brothers Grimm were the writers of Snow White , sleeping beauty etc . Also if the owners of Europa park make and design rides for Disney surely the rides in their park are the originals . The pirates ride look a lot better than the American ones .
Yes youre right about Disney using the Brothers Grimm. We make the comparisons as Disney is our main theme parks. That doesnt mean we didnt enjoy Europa though. We really enjoyed our time there and will hopefully go back again. Its got tons more than DLP and a lot cheaper

We love Disney too and have been to Orlando many times but we discovered Europa Park a couple of years ago ( recommended by Themepark Worldwide ) and we love it almost as much as Disney. Some of the rides are actually superior to Disney and I feel the fairytale theming is more authentic because of the Grimms and black forest connection. I think your nieces would love it.

I just had a look and you can get ride and slide tickets so theme park during the day and water park 5pm till 10pm
Yes i am sure the girls and even the Disney wives would love it. Even a Christmas trip might be worth it.
Yes we would like to see it in different seasons. A lot cheaper than going to DLP thats for sure
I didn't expect to hear "Monorail, monorail, monorail!" in Europe. Such fun! 😂 That pirates ride seemed pretty fun. Hopefully when you go back with your nieces you can go when the weather is cooler.
Europapark is one of the best theme parks in europe and you manage to skip all the best rides!
Looks like there is a campaign for europa park. A lot of US UA-camrs doing videos compairing Disney and EP at the moment. All videos are out there at the same time. Looks very special to me

That was so interesting; I thought the theming/ landscaping was amazing, really well done, but it was funny to see the similarity in the rides; the Haunted mansion type ride was hilarious right from the beginning lol. Beautiful grounds though, thanks for taking us along.Absolutely loving this series guys!
Glad you enjoyed it! We are really glad we finally got to that park. We had wanted to do it for a number of years. We want to go back and explore more at some point

I went when I done a German exchange in Freiburg in the mid 2000’s; it brought back memories! Especially riding Silver Star 😂

Thank you for taking us to EPCOT 2050 😂. We rode a similar ride to Arthur in Dubai themed on " How to train your dragon." We loved it. I would have lost my lunch if I had come down that spinning ride backward

Loved this vlog. It looks like there’s a lot there for all ages. We are booked for Orlando Disneyworld in Feb 2025 our first visit since 2020 just before it shut down. It will be our 18th visit in 25 years, just love it, and this time will be the first with our new granddaughter. Thinking Europa will be a great place to try maybe for Halloween next year. Thanks for taking us along on your travels, you’ve been to some amazing places.
We really did enjoy it at Europa. A lot easier to get to from the UK and better prices than Disney

The moment you walked in it was like sensory overload, so much to see. Yes I think this is definatley one for the girls and your friends to have a few days visit and the waterpark

Europa Park just reminded me of several British theme parks like Chessington, Paultons, the 90s Thorpe Park and Drayton Manor. It is definitely aimed at children 😀
There’s so many big rides there so it’s not much different to other theme parks. There’s tons of kids areas because of how big the park is so it’s great for all ages
It really isn’t just aimed at kids. It has a number of big rollercoasters including the newly opened Voltron, Silver Star (the fourth biggest rollercoaster in Europe), Wodan (one of the best wooden coasters in Europe) and Blue Fire which is a decent launch coaster. In addition to these it has many mid level rides and then lots of family and kid rides. It’s an ideal park for everyone to be honest and comfortably better than anything we have in the UK.

We didnt do a lot of the bigger rides tbf as we arent huge roller coaster fans. We prefer the ambiance, looking around, some smaller interesting rides etc. It definitely has bigger thrill rides we just tend to avoid them these days
Sorry I didn’t really explain myself, I was not saying that British parks are any better but the theming and some of the rides looked similar. Due to a bad back and a life long inner ear problem I can’t go on large rollercoasters or anything that spins or swings so I quite enjoy gentle rides such as Pirates of the Caribbean and the Peter Pan Ride in Disneyland Paris.

Hi guys. Bit of a long shot I know you guys are going out to Florida soon. It’s my wife’s 50th birthday we go out on the 17th it would make her holiday if we bumped into you.
If you do go back then def recommend when all the Halloween decorations are out, it made such a difference, and it looks so lovely at night time too and the show on the water is great!

We loving the theme park 👌 its very like along of disney, but if the make the rides for disney maybe they can touch on a likeness but it looks great i doubt you can get to this park without a car

I don’t think I had ever heard of this theme park, but it did look like it gave you plenty of choices of things to do. I think the big negative for me would be the lack of air-conditioning in any of the buildings. That would probably matter less if you went at a cooler time of year.
Yes, europe doesnt do aircon as well as America.

I thought a lot of the rides were too similar to some at Disney but still don’t think anyone can do them as good as Disney does 🙂
Quite a few were very similar but thinking back, thats a good thing if you want to experience a different park but still want some Disney feels.

@@TheLodgeGuys loved it then , it was great fun ! Germany is a great country with lots of great regions to visit ! I love the koln ,the Mosel, the harz mountains , Berlin are some of my favourite places ! Love a lot of the old east block areas as well !
How do you find the rides being in another language? Do you find they’re still as immersive?
Obviously it would be better for us if they were in english but once the ride starts then you forget all about that

This is my most favorite park, I love the vast amount of attractions, the theming, to have Europe all in one, and the resort hotels. And you see the love of the owners for their park in every corner with so many little details. I agree some ideas (esp the attractions from the 80s such as Geisterbahn, the former Eurostar and pirates; and the mascot) are inspired by Disney but I do not mind ;) Additionally, we do have Snorri ❤🐙
Edit: I think you can get Sheperds Pie, Irish Stew and Bangers & Mash in the O' Mackays.
We definitely need to go again and try a lot of the other things we missed. We have said we will go back at some point
Also the park is closed from 13th January 2025 till 21st March 2025
The food a bit disappointing you would think the theme of countries would have more of the countries food, ireland & uk & spain not very there countries food 🙈

Love this vlog, no matter what park/ entertainment venue you go to, like me, we'll always compare to Disney and Universal. I'll always remember going to Universal once and the cast member saying 'we don't have to be nice, we're not Disney', really made laugh. 😊

Universal is coming, the land is cleared and it’s convenient to trains and cars. It’s North of London and a little West, I can’t wait to see it.

Europa Park is our absolute favorite. Much better than Disney Paris. Over 100 attractions for young and old, brilliant roller coasters, great food options, first-class hotels, fair prices and so on. Disney is the Aldi version of Europapark☝

I actually like the comparison, because it helps me decide whether it’s suitable for my family. I’ve been to Disney world so it’s easier for me to see if it’s suitable.😊
