work hard Hi 👋 went you troubleshoot fuel trim number all ways look at the short terms number! Know negative 4 is taking full away is closing the injector! do too a rich condition remember rich condition is a lean command from the ECU or PCM or ECM .... the trick is to race the engine RPM to 2,500 or 3,000 remember to apply emergency brake and in park!! @ that engine RPM look @ your SHORT TERMS numbers and see if the number gets better or worse! If the numbers get better like zero then you have a vacuum leak if the numbers gets worse Means mass air flow! Fuel delivery! Liked injector! any air leak not monitor by the mass air is a big problem! For fuel trims!!
Pete Sambolin I check the fuel pressure it's with in spec changed mass air flow sensor I'm getting p1132 p1152 iam leaning towards maybe intake manifold leak?
work hard Hi 👋 never look at the long term fuel trim number went you are troubleshooting fuel trim number! And remember went you work in Ford you have to reset the keep alive memory (KIM) you’re trouble code saying that you have a rich conman from the Heated Oxygen Sensor so your fuel trim number going to be - negative numbers! Oxygen sensor not switch stuck in rich condition means lean command from the computer! So this is what you should do! First make sure car is in parking emergency break ON and then start the engine select short term fuel trim number Bank #1 and Bank #2 watch the Oxygen Sensor bank #1 and Bank # 2 and see if in fact they are stuck without moving the numbers in rich position! Custom Data Pids with Mass Air Flow , Engine RPM ,TPS, H02S1S1, HO2S2S1, plus the short Term Fuel trim! Take the engine RPM to 3,000 and watch the fuel trim numbers! Know the numbers should be closed to zero! If the numbers get worse at higher RPM means you have mass air problem injector problem! If you’re numbers get better means you have a vacuum problem! Intake manifold gasket not sealing good a EGR valve!.
Pete Sambolin I discovered something my 02s12 is dead marks 0 swap it with a opposite side and still 02s12 marks zero ima have to check the wiring and LT ftrm1 are at -22 and LT ftrm2 -16 if that helps with info
work hard zero reading 📖 on O2 sensor is a rich command from the computer! Again do not look at the long term fuel trim you will never see the changes in the other hand 🖐 in short term you will...
I’m sorry that’s is confusing for you I understand that because I should put in the description “ This video is for advance technicians “ fuel trim’s number are confusing! I did find a little vacuum leak also never video because the mayor problem was a dead HO2S in one single bank!
my long terms are like negative 10 and my short terms are at negative 4 is that okay
