  • 18-year old Françoise Hardy sings a delicate 'L'Amour s'en va' on acoustic guitar for just a minute, followed by an interview in French. It's a Hardy song selected as the Monaco entry for the Eurovision Song Contest held in London in 1963. It came 5th out of 16.
By this time Françoise Hardy was already a huge star in France, having had three number one singles. This song stayed in the official French-Belgium charts for 24 weeks, and was also issued in Italian and German versions. 'L'Amour s'en va' translates as Love Goes Away.
