I routinely leave my phone and my watch behind to remember how free I was in the 90s.

    I went from 2014-19 without a phone.

I leave my phone at home all the time. Not intentionally, but I just really don’t care if I have it or not 🤷🏻‍♀️
My husband hates when I do that 😂

I carry my wallet, pocket knife, flashlight, some meds in case of an emergency, and my wrist watch. I only carry a phone for emergencies. And often I will rely on my wife's phone, or I'll leave my phone in my car...I do not EDC a cell phone.
This dependency on a cell phone is a generational thing. I like being connected to the world, as long as the world stays away from me.

today phones help with communication more then ever. if you dont have it you dont have 911 services. you cant call for help by yourself if you were in danger. what would you do if you were in danger and left your phone home to feel like your more free? its alos a comfort boost when you feel like your in a bad area, you can have it on you just like "something happens i got this to call 911" and theyll be there if something does go down. stop feeling so prideful and use your brain.
