Just because people do something you don't agree with or support doesn't necessarily make it an insurrection. For example, on January 6, 2021, there are numerous Trump supporters who came to his speech that day, who protested that day, and then went home without trying to overthrow the government of the United States. There were other Trump supporters who attacked the Capitol Building in an attempt to keep Trump illegally in office, and as that was an attempt to overthrow the government of the United States so what they did was an insurrection.
