why do you mark the second stitch of the five at the very base? and not the first one?

Because I put 5 stitches in the last and first st instead of 3 like what other crocheters normally do

Hie ... it is 4 mm cord but a 3 mm cord will do the bag will be slightly smaller. It is the spike stitch. Thank you for watching ❤️☺️
