I really liked how you improvised at the end and showed that a few more stitches here and there wouldn't affect the end result much. I find sometimes ppl, myself included, get put off by trying a project because instructions seem so rigid and confining. I like that u can improvise sometimes because I feel like I can just have fun and enjoy myself!
I consider myself to be an advanced crocheter (hooker, if you will 😊) and it is absolutely maddening to load stitches onto hard handles. You do a lovely job!
Well for this one I wanted it to be simple especially for beginners, however there is another one I did recently with ruffled edges ua-cam.com/video/WgM7dwRXjt8/v-deo.html
Such a lovely tutorial! Will this work using a rectangular wooden handle as well? And if I use thinner/smaller yarn, should I increase the number of stitches per row to maintain the size?
Yes rectangular wooden handles will do....I f you use thinner yarn just increase your stitches at the beginning and also increase the number of rows to increase length. Thank you for watching ☺️
You can add a few more stitches st the beginning of the bag to.increase the size of the bag. Add a few stitches, crochet a few rows to see if the size of the bag is to your liking and adjust if not
thank you for watching ❤️, have you tried checking shops that sell yarn or handmade accessories. You can also buy online either on Amazon, Etsy or AliExpress

hie....I'm using wooden handles and at the start I crochet single crochet around the handle if it is twisting just arrange it in a straight line when you move to round 2 it won't twist....I don't know if I have answered your question, if not may you rephrase the question
@@MirrymasCrafts thank you, I have made it; looks amazing; can you tell me the measurements of the handle? Mine one where 13 cm, I think that’s wy was twisting , but I manage, thank you ones again. Xx
No you do not increase the number of stitches it's because the stitches are stacked up close together at the handle so as you increase the rows the stitches kind of loosen up and the bag gets wider

Thanks for sharing..is this yarn thick and hard to crochet with..
the yarn is thick but with the right crochet size it's not that difficult and gets better with practice
Do you increase the amount of stitches at any stage as it looks to get wider at the sides

the handles have a diameter of 4 inches
@MirrymasCrafts спасибо большое🙏💕
Beautiful work. Is it 3mm or 4mm polyester macrame? Also what is the total yards used to complete the bag? Thanks for sharing
it's 4mm macrame cord and I used about 104 yards of macrame. If you have 3mm macrame cord it will still do just fine
@@MirrymasCrafts awesome. Thanks for responding. I just bought 3mm as ur message came in so I will be making the bag tomorrow using this tutorial

6mm crochet hook
😮It would be good to tell us all the rows got how many stitches. I m quite confuse on the 5th row
all the rows have the same number of stitches, the total number you began with around the handle is the same total for each row
Why does it look like it gets wider
@@clarawillock it's because at the beginning of the rows at the handles the stitches are stacked close together
Bellooooooooo
You done two pieces? Or only one long
I did two pieces on two separate circular handles then joined them together
What is the name brand of the yarn?
this one was from a local shop it's polyester macrame cord 4 mm thick....there is not much written on the package
Si deve aumentare
if you want to increase the size of the bag, at the beginning add more stitches to increase width, then to increase length increase the number of rows
