Yeah after putting on a vorsteiner trunk on my e46 m3, keep adjusting. You’ll be able to fit that trunk much better once you know the adjustment points. Also the latch where the trunk closes onto needs to come up so you don’t have to put force into closing it
I'll keep trying and maybe bring it in to a reputable body shop to adjust further. But I did my best. I even adjusted the latch like you mentioned, it's all the way up already.

Jake, can you point out or make a short video about how you relocated the windshieldwashertank-filler-neck ? I can see you took it out of the way of the hot turbo. How did you go about and did it need any extra parts ? TIA
No extra parts needed. Simply remove the wheel and fender liner. Then pull the filler neck through the wheel well. Now just shove it through the water drain area and trim if needed.
Single side struts are just not kosher. I was told by a guy in Australia he had the struts depressurized somehow so he can use two on his CF hood. There has to be a better solution from the strut manufacturer. They should have been part of the kit.

The 1er has been stored since October and the 335i has been on daily duty for a while now. I feel bad because the 335i is a Texas car with absolutely no rust... but oh well...
Tbh my body has no rust whatsoever theres just some surface rust on certain steel parts underneath the car and even that could be grinded off quickly and resurfaced with an anti corrosion paint or the like. And mine is a 2007 Canadian driven car xD the e9x series hold up better than any Chevy mazda Honda or subaru I've seen that has been that old xD so theres that to think about.
My 2003 ford Taurus? Rusted right out on the rocker pannels and at the strut towers aswell as having some trunk rust. That's not to much older than the 07 e92 which has none to speak of and that Taurus was crown sprayed aswell

I'm glad i just ordered my M Performance carbon fiber spoiler from Turner Motorsports. Cost me $347 dollars & it's a genuine BMW part! I'll be making that video pretty soon. My car will be finished in. April...well everything will be done except my 6 pro meth nozzles wont be installed into my plenum. But will be by mid summer. I do love the look of that duck tail though!👍🏁
The headlights look too old, you need the 2012 ones, they have the white slashes across the top, maybe buy some original ones to make your car look post 2012, I think you have the 2012 tail lights

IN54NE BMW 335is hows the fitment. Still expensive for something that would need adjustments on your own
Most body kits available take many hours to look the way you envisioned when purchasing.
You need to put the small rubber twist adjusters next to the trunk latch. That will help with adjusting the gaps and the entire trunk.
None of those adjusters fit unfortunately. And it needed to be adjusted downwards, not upwards.

I put a carbon fiber M4 style trunk spoiler on my 135i. That one looks pretty sick also👍🏼

Have you tried using washers to adjust the corner of the trunk higher? Mighty help with the matching and gap, too
Yes I did, but it lifted the whole trunk creating gaps everywhere.
The oil pressure in your 1/2 mile was crazy, the gauge was moving as fast as the speedo
I have it hijacked so it doesn't actual show oil pressure. It shows either boost or AFR, I can't remember.

What’s happening with the E90?
It's been serving daily driver duty while I've been modifying the 1 series. Had to make some life adjustments, but I do have mods for it coming up.
Last night I was debating if I should of ordered a carbon fiber trunk or hood and I ended up with ordering the hood for my 335 last night lol.
You're gonna love it! You can always order the trunk later...
