Awwww my thoughts and prayers are with you. I'm in kinda the same situation I live in a different country than my mom. And one day in a store I came upon a perfume she used when I was little. The emotions came flooding in that I just had to buy it!! Now when I miss her, or feel down I just put on that perfume. It takes me back to the age of innocence and the warmth of my mother.

Kathleen I just saw your video on anxiety. I can relate to you so much. I cried cause I can feel your pain. I am a 54 year old woman. I watch you all the time. A think you are a breath of fresh air. I never had anxiety until I was 32 and expecting my daughter. She is now 21 and I've had anxiety and panic attacks all that time. I'm on all kinds of meds and they still don't help but it's cause I believe I have been on them forever. I have had anxiety because I have a fear of dying and not seeing my daughter grow up or see my grandchildren (like my mother never got to see my daughter). I have fear all the time like I'm dying of cancer and she goes the terrible journey with me. I also fear the day she leaves home. She is going to Florida in September and I'm afraid she is going to lose her. I didn't mean to scare you but your not alone and it happens at any age. I hope you get this letter. Hey, Kathleen, a tip that my mother and I use for prolonging our perfumes' shelf life is to refrigerate them. I know it sounds weird but I find that refrigerating perfumes helps so that the perfume wouldn't go bad easily. We live in the Philippines and it's hot as hell here so sometimes our perfumes moist and then go bad quickly.

Have you tried bootzie Oil? It is made in Maui. I heard about it through another blogger. I managed to find a local store near my parents that carried it. I went there to smell it and 10 minutes later, I walked out the door with one purchased. It reminds me of sweet summer time but it can be worn anytime of the day as well as anytime of the year. I wore it a little bit during winter and it was soothing. Vanilla lovers will adore! If you do not care for sweet scents or vanilla, this oil is not for you. Ps. I like to put this oil on and then spray Armani Si. The combo is AMAZE-ZING-ZING!
I dont think perfume expire, unless you have them exposed to sunlight or heat. If you store them in a cool, dark place it will stay like forever !!!, its my opinion. Nice video.

Keep your scents somewhere cold and dark. Heat and light is what causes the alcohol content of the perfume to destroy the perfume oil in the perfume.
