Modern Farmhouse Trailer Tiny Home Tour By Experienced Stealth Van Builder | Dualex :
This travel trailer rv is set up as an off grid tiny home on wheels.
It is fully equipped with a solar power electrical system. There are two Solar Panels mounted on the roof of the trailer. All the rest of the electrical components including the Solar Controller, Pure Sine Wave inverter, and deep cycle Gel battery are mounted inside of the trailer.
There are AC and USB outlets in convenient areas throughout the trailer, as well as super bright 12 volt LED lights.
The living area of this tiny home has gas heat and a gas oven/stove. There’s also a fully functional sink and water system, as well a composting toilet.
For cooking and ventilation, the tiny house has a 3 speed Dometic Fan-Tastic roof vent above the kitchen area.
There is a projector screen that can be angled on a swiveling wall mount which is connected to a DTV antenna and my PS4 video game console.
All cabinets in the RV are secured with cabinet latches to make sure nothing falls while the trailer is moving. The bed also lifts up to reveal the storage underneath the sleeping area of the trailer.
I wanted to test my building skills by renovating an older trailer than I'm usually used to working with, so i decided to build this solar powered tiny home trailer with minimal tools. In this video I take you with me from start to finish and show everything that I built from the electrical setup to the details of each floorboard and shiplap wall panel.

Meh, until he wants wanton noodles at 3am lol. It is nice but wouldn’t go that far. Big trade off leaving the city, I moved from a 1400 sq ft city house to a 4000 sq ft house in the burbs, and miss that little box that I could walk to everything I needed from my job to bars to dates houses. It’s nice having space and modern toys in my house but there is definitely something to be said for the city, the sense of community, and actually knowing who the hell the people are who live next to me 😭😭

The quality of work is on a whole different level here.
The way you explain your build, your workarounds, your thoughts when setting up certain portions of the build, you showed that cheap materials and putting in some time to make them look nice (The epoxy on the wooden bowl for the sink, the laminated flooring you reinforced to make a wonderful countertop, etc.) You really made it show that it really doesn't take expensive materials to make a wonderful living space. Great job all around.
He has a draw just for tea because he had so many draws he just made stuff up. His dedication to storage is next level and as an Englishman I approve.
I've got a whole cupboard dedicated to tea lol. Kind of just turned out that way - more types of tea than plates and cups (i'm English too). This man is so gifted - not just the technical skills, it's the planning and problem solving he's amazing at as well. Take my hat off to him!

I was curious as to what happened with this build. This makes living in a camper seem like a feasible option, then you realize the amount of work that went into this.
If you have the money you could always pay someone to do a lot of the harder work and learn some stuff yourself, would still be a fraction of the cost of even a small home, but we all broke af
I live in a new travel trailer and am remodeling it slowly to keep my funds in check. It’s definitely doable, I’ve seen decent used trailers going for as low as $5000 if you know where to look!

I live in my travel trailer and I have no problems in the rain the snow or storm or anything. I have had alot of fun traveling the US with my lady. It's a totally enjoyable life.
@@chrisistocool1 that's awesome. I'd love to do the same but have three children. Maybe if I could afford a large RV. I always believed living on a boat would be pretty great. There's actually a lot of really good vloggers on here that do this. Something to think about after you park the camper. Most that I've seen actually did the same; lived in campers, before moving on to the Ocean.
