So many things I love about this. Tori works so well with the backing singers, and they all seem to be enjoying it. Especially the way that the singer with short hair appears to have tears in her eyes at the end. There was such a nice sonic chemistry between them, and it's a shame they didn't do the full song!
Beautiful! This performance makes me want to listen to other backup-heavy Tori songs like Way Down and Sweet the Sting! I always forget about this version of China, which means everyone time someone posts it it's a lovely surprise.
This is my favorite rendition, with these sweet angels adding texture. And brilliant, for we all have felt the ' distance' haven't we, as lovers, as parents, and as ... humans. Thank you Tori
Excellent demonstration of how trained singers can work almost seemlessly together. Their is a nice connection between the three, and you can see how the back-up vocalists are focused on her eyes and lips. Notice how their breaths sync before entrances. Also, it looks like they had just been handed a score not long prior to having to perform the piece memorized.
This clip is exquisite! I've just found this tonight. Tori is my favorite female artiste, and this duet was flawless. What an honor to sing with our twentieth century Mozart. I would love to purchase this. Bless you, bless you, bless you!
"sometimes I think you want me to touch you but how can I when you build a great wall around you" when she sings with (black people) of color it's like angels. .like 'sweet the sting'. timeless voice and talent. #toriphile
@TheArcaneMaster Almost seamless... they sound like they are lagging a bit at the beginning. But yeah, she should have kept those ladies around! Very nice!
wow, the first ever three person duet
😆😆😆
Just remember, you saw it here first!

Tori's music envokes emotion the way real music should. She is and always will be the best. Period.

I love the Way Down too (just wish it was longer!) I feel like the backup gals are the "earth" to Tori's "air" in this song... gorgeous
Tori is somehow glowing here!!! :) Beautiful in every aspect!!!

Anyway, this live version of China is my favorite.

Holy cow! I dont like people tampering with perfection and therefore nervous clicking on this but those ladies did a wonderful job.

Thank you for this upload - this woman just tears me apart every time I listen to her.
Chilling!! in a good way. Sound so beautiful.
I remember when the audio of this used to circulate on a bootleg CD, and it was labeled "China (Chorale Version)'.
Normally I hate it when backup singers perform on a song that didn't originally include them, but they work very well here.
She's *so* pretty. Not like looks mean anything when you have a voice like that, but still. Wow.
Wow...I never heard this before
Stunning.
this makes me tear up it is so good
Gorgeous!
THat's AMAZING! I love it!
Beautiful!

So raw. And I caught someone starting early. Love everything about this!
Genial!
Formidable!
For all the people commenting on the "backing singers", they are a well known French band called Native

Music today really isn't what it used to be.
incredble

These ladies had a carreer of their own 🙂. But yeah. Just incredibly beautiful.

Let Tori sing her song, it is better solo. Those 2 beauties Should be on the catwalk though.
Sonically, it sounds nice. But given the context, I'd rather hear it solo.
That's what the album is for. :D

I can't let my love for Tori's voice and music cloud my judgement. This sounds horrible.
