    I can't even begin to thank you enough. I am doing my class online and we are using ALEKS. Sometimes it just gives too much information which really messes me up. Now that I've watched this video and can do my calculations in 3 steps.

    What if you calculate the theoretical yield based on the mass of each reactant? The one that gives the lowest theoretical yield is the limiting reactant.

      Hi David - yes, you can definitely do that! You will find that there are usually a number of different ways or methods of solving problems like this. What's most important is just that you truly understand whatever method you are using and the "why" for each step. As long as you know what you are doing, and what each step means and represents - you'll be in good shape!
