This makes perfect sense. Yoda bought Obi-Wan enough time. Sidious sensed Yoda. That changed things. Jedi lost millenia ago. Sith changed. Galaxy changed. This was very smart of Yoda. I didn't know this. May the Force be with you too. Have a great day :)

It all sounded good until the Yoda part. The emperor seemed like he underestimated Yoda as well, he was pretty shook after Yoda’s force push plastered him into the opposing wall in the ridiculously big office he had.

The why and how are the same. Palpatine/Siddius suffers from the true weakness of the Sith…..Arrogance. He is belief that he knew all and could make no mistakes. Something that leads to his Death.

I've always found it a mistake that Palpatine just kind of zapped Yoda with the force lightening instead of just unloading on him like he did with Windu.

    • @crazytrain03
      @crazytrain03 Рік тому +42

But he did unload on him though. When they were fighting on the platform, Yoda was disarmed of his saber by lightening, then Sidious unloaded on him so hard, he was yelling from the strain...then Yoda started absorbing it faster than he could shoot it out, and Yoda blew both of them of the platform. It caught Sidious off guard enough, his whole expression changed on his face...from "You about to get burnt lil man" to "Oh crap I have messed up".

Palpatine learned that day that only a fool of a Sith or Dark Jedi would ever sleep on Obi Wan. But he should have known as Obi was the one who defeated his first apprentice AND killed General Grievous. Sith arrogance is always one of the greatest Jedi weapons. He never hunted down Yoda out of arrogance - and Yoda ended up training Luke who turned Vader back to the light side and destroyed Palpatine. Luke's rise which was the resurgence of the light side, and Palpatine's arrogance, nullified his ability to see into the future.

Palpatine also laughed when he saw Anakin laying there burning and all cut up. He laughed inside and thought to himself wow, obi wan is a bad man what a sith he would have made. He always thought obi wan to be lucky killing maul and general grievous. That day he found respect for obi wan and realized just how much he underestimated obi wan. He couldn't believe a Jedi like obi wan would just leave someone crippled ,maimed, and broken along with suffering and pain. Then just walk away and let the lava slowly take his life. That's when he thought wow what a cruel sith he would have made. He actually thought of fantasy's of if not count dukko he could have had obi wan as a apprentice and then turned Anakin to the dark side much easier.. my brother told me the story from a book he read. That day he had more respect for obi wan and made it a point to not underestimate the will power of someone. The underdog so to speak .

Brilliant long-term planning if you think about it. Yoda insists that Obi-Wan takes on Anakin and Yoda fights Siddious at the same time. Obi-Wan wins leaving the now fully turned Anakin into Vader so that in the distant future he would throw Siddious down a long shaft ultimately leading to the beginning of the end of the Sith. That is if you look at it from a certain point of view.

Yoda and Obi Wan wouldve been killed. Yoda distinctly knew that, and that's why he made the plan to fight them separately. Definitely brings attention to an underseen saving grace. Palpatine clearly dominated the actual war and coup of the jedi and made them a nearly extinct group. But Yoda and obi did come away with secret victories. Obi won their fight and severely diminished the destructive potential of anakin as a sith though he did play his part before in knowingly setting anakin on the dark path. idk I always seen this as just one of the first of many difficult tasks he set for Vader. Sidious has always treated his apprentices this way looking at it if they don't live up to his expectations, they don't deserve their position. I feel he just thought if vader truly is what he believed him to be, he could overcome the situation. And the only reason he was rescued was because of his will to live after the fact. Had the situation broken him mentally, I doubt Sidious would have wasted his time to try and rehabilitate him.
I think this situation is more of a coincidence due to the vale on the darkside being lifted.

Such as he intended for the various people Tyrannous kept. (assaj etc.) and even Tyrannus himself after he fully set his eyes on anakin.

    YODA WOULD HAVE ENDED ANAKIN
But being that O be, was so close to Aniken he knew he would not end him...
Remember, O Be, said it himself at the temple.
He didn't want to do it...
IF YODA did it? There would have been a second battle, between him and the Dark Sixth Lord.
Palpatien would have been ended too. Because of Ani's demise YODA's power would have been greatly increased, made far stronger than than the Dark Lord, and given the ability to see well past the SHROUD of the Dark Side....

Had Anakin died from Yoda’s saber on Mustafar then Sidious can easily replace him (Jedi captives later turned Inquisitors)
Most likely it’s Yoda and Obi Wan’s decision not to kill Anakin but rather decrease his midichlorian count by amputation, enough to nerf him to be on stalemate against Sidious, as neither can duel each other to continue the rule of two with Sidious being too old and Vader being a nerfed half machine

Whatvthey all should have done is have a miniature holocron implant in their bady cavity that has the sole purpose of directing the apprentice to the masters holocron and other darkside artifact stashes and darkside nexus's locations. That way when they die, hopefully that holocron could he obtained from the corpse.

Palpatine is such a stupidly written character. He’s just all knowing, all doing, it’s just lazy writing.

I enjoy these but they frustrate the shit outta me.people making up what is from what isnt.lucas did that with companion guides to fill in from bad writing.but theory channels upped the BS level by miles.but i do enjoy it and loathe it

Imagine there is a Jedi so force sensitive they can rewind time and stop order 66 and anakin from going dark.

But then the whole story will be different and it's gonna spoil everything that makes Revenge of the Sith so EPIC and AWESOME.

It's awesome and hilarious how none of these star wars lore channels that pop up for me ever mention Disney's abomination of a rendition.
