And I was a little skeptical about adding garam masala in this dish, cos I have never seen my mother adding garam masala in fish curry. But I still thought to give a try. Trust me, this is the best recipe ever!❤️

Pure heaven. And the photography I nearly put a spoon through my laptop screen to grab that it was so delicious looking! Got to make this as I have king prawns and medium prawns. A good thing to add to it is pieces of cauliflower it's a surprisingly good taste combination.

Wow so good! I made this tonight and it’s just the right mix of spices. Great shrimp flavor. I found it to be very balanced with the just the right amount of chili. Had it with naan.

Two things to comment on this. 1. 3/4 Tsp of tamarind would have made wonders. And 2. The cooking time of prawns for curry should not exceed more than 4-5 minutes. 2- minutes while frying with mandala and another 3- minutes max afterwards.

You can add eggplant/aubergine too. It goes well with prawns.
