I know it sucks we didn't get everyone they lost during the show greeting him when he arrived, but I am still *deliriously happy* that Bobby was the one to welcome Dean to Heaven. Honestly, he was always my favourite character; he was a lovable curmudgeon who loved Sam and Dean like they were his own kids and always had their backs even while giving them well deserved 'Idjits' when they inevitably screwed up.
The way Dean says Heaven is almost perfect and Bobby says that he’ll be along is both heartbreaking and heartwarming. They want Sam to be there too, but he has to live his life yet.

On one hand, Dean feels like he should have had a bigger death. But on the other hand given the context of Chuck’s plot armour and the meta commentary of the entire show, it also makes sense. Sam and Dean freed themselves from Chuck’s story, Jack gave them the freedom to live their lives without having to expect a bigger threat. And Dean dies like any other hunter. Sam and Dean were legends because that’s how Chuck wrote them to be, so without that bigger story, they’re more vulnerable as a price of that freedom. Sam and Dean still have the skills they’ve amassed, but there’s no more prophecies or big plans for them. So it’s oddly fitting for Dean to die like he always wanted. Hunting a monster and saving a life. Not some big sacrifice, not some curse he has to bear, not some big explosive sequence with the world at stake. Just any other hunt
I personally love the way Dean and Sam died. Dean died due to a hunt and without the plot writing “protection” of Chuck like all the time before and Sam died after living a full healthy “apple pie” life with a wife and his son, who was raise well into both a smart nerd and a hunter. People complain too much about the ending; please consider the ending was done during covid. However, I would loved to see the ending just a bit different given the fact you could not get all cast members together because of covid. Okay Dean's dumb death has to stay, Sam's life afterwards the same, however coming out of the tree line it is Sam not Dean. Probably the worst scene of the final. We are told Jack saves cass. All that happens off screen. And then dean doesn’t get a reunion with Castiel ? Like what the hell.

Tu m'as donné quand on va aller revoir à la téléça sera super qui nous les remette car sa fin de puy tellement en tant qu'on les a pas revu euh et d'autres serrées aussi ce serait vraiment trop cool
The thing about this scene is that the beer Bobby passes Dean is El Sol, which is a beer that is only used in false realities and visions throughout the series. Which really calls into question this entire sequence as 1. being the final ending. and 2. if it's really happening at all. If this was meant to be a final happy ending for the character they would have used the Margiekugel which is used in family bonding scenes. The fact of all the beers El Sol was used here is significant and implies something is not right and darker is at play. Now of course the fact that Cas is alive and yet unable to reunite with Dean in heaven is another warning sign. But yeah, this scene is not what it appears.
@@THE-id1by actually the prop master was Chris Cooper who created several fake beer brands in 2006 for the show. He was with the production until season 12 and the use of these beers was extremely consistent as the co-producer Jerry Wanek was also the one who had many of the brands created inspired by personal details. He worked on the show through 2020. And yes he's on record being very intentional about which beers were used in which scenes. Beer symbolism is actually very detailed in spn and is extremely consistent since two long time creators were directly a part of it. There are other beers as well, I'd recommend reading up on them and their contexts it's very interesting. So yeah, they knew what they were doing.
Still prefer to think the true finale would've setup Sam & Dean setting up HunterCorp, getting rich for all their troubles & dying of old age. Still come this same Heaven.
@THE-id1by I know but the attraction and chemistry was there I mean sure a better match would have Lisa but reuniting with her would have been sort of tragic as opposed to a possibly heartfelt reaction we could have gotten
I thought the ending was kind of stupid. Cass sacrifices himself to save Deans life and they have this big dramatic showdown with Death, just to have Dean die stupidly in the end. The series went from A series down to a C grade series in just a few seasons. Not that I didn't like the ending it was just poorly executed and rushed. Cass "I love you Dean" Throws his life away to save Dean. Dean, Dies in a stupid way following the greatest sacrifice a friend and Angel can give. The end. Welcome to Heaven.
In the last episode, Sam and Dean went on a hunt after freeing themselves from Chuck’s/God’s big story plan (it became a whole meta thing where God orchestrated everything in their lives because Sam and Dean are his “favourite show”). Jack (Lucifer’s son who’s a cinnamon roll) drained God of his powers and left him human while Jack ascended to godhood. During the last hunt, Sam and Dean fight some vampires and Dean gets impaled on some rebar and died. Sam survived and gave Dean a hunter’s funeral and was depressed for a while because now without Chuck constantly bringing them back for the story, there’s no bringing Dean back. Not unless Sam makes a deal that starts the cycle again. He hunts, he lives, he finds love, settles down, becomes a dad, and eventually dies of old age and reunites with Dean in Heaven
So witch boby is this and if its the og Bobby than what happened to the boby from that badlands erith did he go back to his own heaven or is he in the main sam and deans heven and if why wasn't he ever mentioned again and did boby ever get to meet the other boby?
@ exactly! it’s just so sad for an angel like cas who rebelled for what he believed in. Not saying he should just get away Scot free but be returned to angel status and help look after/administer heaven. Instead he’s rotting away being tortured by his own memories and regrets by a sadistic primordial entity.he’s tortured enough by his own conscience. sighhh.
The thing is, this ending itself it fits great everything about it is great but its what preceeds it that ruins s15 the fact of Dean's death alone isn't the problem its how unceremoniously it goes. They could have executed that aspect better and it would have been THE perfect ending
The true ending is season 5. It would never have been perfect unless it was season 5s ending. This is not terrible, but it could have been so much better.
dean should have died to the kid who said he was going to kill him after dean killed his mother because he couldnt trust her like sam trusted her. his death was trash in the series they should have delayed it instead of the dgoshit we got
Season 5 is the real Supernatural ending. When the creator and OG writer Eric Kripke left after season 5 Supernatural went down hill fast. Season 6 &7 were bearable, but season 8 is when I stopped watching.
There are many people on the internet who have made positive comments about season 8, but it is one of the worst seasons, especially the first half is extremely boring (Sam's disgusting love, etc.) Only season 11 was good when Carver was the showrunner.
They sure ran that show in the ground...always the same crap. I stopped watching a long time ago. And now they screwing with fire country with one of them.
The series went off the rails after 5. Far too long for its premise, it descended into chaos and desperation. A common problem nowadays. People should learn when to stop.
The show was great until they decided to have the character Castiel as a regular. The show went from the brothers to brothers and an angel, which is why I prefer earlier seasons without Castiel. The character should of been killed off and left dead and not returned. I think the show would of been even better without Castiel. Misha ruined the character with his gay baiting antics.
If it wasn't for covid the ending should have been Dean walking into the bar and EVERYONE is there and then KANSAS comes out and plays wayward son.
That would have been an even better ending, every prominent character coming back to really give this masterpiece the send off it deserved.

With a show like this, always have to leave stuff with an open just incase.
and yet the show is over
You think too much, this wave of writers barely knew Show. They saw a beer bottle in props and went with it
@@THE-id1by actually the prop master was Chris Cooper who created several fake beer brands in 2006 for the show.
Question: if someone from an alternate reality dies in another reality do they go to their heaven or that universes heaven
what is the soundtrack in this?
there should be some dogs somewhere around there.
Still prefer to think the true finale would've setup Sam & Dean setting up HunterCorp, getting rich for all their troubles & dying of old age. Still come this same Heaven.
It'd be funny if Dean got pulled over and got a DUI
Dean should have reunited with Jo
They were never together
@THE-id1by I know but the attraction and chemistry was there I mean sure a better match would have Lisa but reuniting with her would have been sort of tragic as opposed to a possibly heartfelt reaction we could have gotten
Great scene but that damn pandemic really unfortunately had to trim this scene down
Okay imma say it: I hate that monkey...
I haven't watched this series past a couple of seasons. What's happened to Sam? Why isn't he there?
Different realities, different heavens. And, yes. The Bobby we all know and love.
The only loose end is cas. 😢 I hate that he died the way he did.
@ exactly! it’s just so sad for an angel like cas who rebelled for what he believed in. Not saying he should just get away Scot free but be returned to angel status and help look after/administer heaven. Instead he’s rotting away being tortured by his own memories and regrets by a sadistic primordial entity.he’s tortured enough by his own conscience. sighhh.
😂first thing he does in heaven…..drink drive 🤦♂️🤨
I was hoping Dean would wind up as the new Death.
Dean shouldn’t have gone out that way
Feels like all the plot armour disappears and that is how it would really be for them
From what I know they died a bunch of times like that but was brought back and memory whipped
Lol that's heaven?
The thing is, this ending itself it fits great everything about it is great but its what preceeds it that ruins s15 the fact of Dean's death alone isn't the problem its how unceremoniously it goes. They could have executed that aspect better and it would have been THE perfect ending
The true ending is season 5. It would never have been perfect unless it was season 5s ending. This is not terrible, but it could have been so much better.
Why all these SPN clips. We getting season 16?
dean should have died to the kid who said he was going to kill him after dean killed his mother because he couldnt trust her like sam trusted her. his death was trash in the series they should have delayed it instead of the dgoshit we got
Season 16 should just be Sam and Dean together in heaven actually enjoying it
Wish the show ended differently, the ending just became massively irreverent and didn't end as it should have
How should it have ended?
Season 5 is the real Supernatural ending. When the creator and OG writer Eric Kripke left after season 5 Supernatural went down hill fast. Season 6 &7 were bearable, but season 8 is when I stopped watching.
There are many people on the internet who have made positive comments about season 8, but it is one of the worst seasons, especially the first half is extremely boring (Sam's disgusting love, etc.) Only season 11 was good when Carver was the showrunner.
I still say the ending should have been them waking up in bed with Asia's "Heat of the Moment" playing on the radio. Old tricks are the best tricks.
Loyal fans deserved a better ending.
Sadly COVID restrictions prevented us from getting that ending.
blame covid for that, it heavily impacted an ending that was scrapped
They sure ran that show in the ground...always the same crap. I stopped watching a long time ago. And now they screwing with fire country with one of them.
Absolute garbage final episode, a hate crime against all fans
The series went off the rails after 5. Far too long for its premise, it descended into chaos and desperation. A common problem nowadays. People should learn when to stop.
Says you and the actors have a right to keep doing with the insurance who the hell are you to tell someone that they can and can't enjoy.
@ sorry that I ruined your evening, honey. You know, this is called a comment section. People make comments on it. LOL.
the absolute worst ending to any television series ever.
The show was great until they decided to have the character Castiel as a regular. The show went from the brothers
to brothers and an angel, which is why I prefer earlier seasons without Castiel. The character should of been killed
off and left dead and not returned. I think the show would of been even better without Castiel. Misha ruined the character
with his gay baiting antics.
The writers welcomed the long time audience to hell with this final season and final two episodes. It was absolutely pathetic.
My heaven would have no hormons for women god theyd go nuts could u imagine if u had 2 or more dead x wives waiting for you
