I think he was a really cool guy because my parents named my brother after him. I was named after Catherine The Great, can y'all do a video about her please?
His destruction of Tyre is what I admire most about Alexander the Great. Tyre, a regional powerhouse in commerce and controlled by the wicked Kenites, laid low by a human instrument of God we know as Alexander of Macedonia
Honestly in order to appreciate the magnitude of Alexander's career would be to have an 8 season tv series. He lived only 32 years but he went through so much it feels like 80 years. He was one of the biggest overachievers in history.
Fun Fact: One of Alexander's Generals that had been forced to take a Persian Wife would eventually go on to found the Seleucid Empire. And that man kept his Persian Wife around.
Alexander's men were so devoted to him that they would willingly sacrifice themselves for him. At one of his sieges, the town they were besieging was on top of a cliff. Alexander chose some men to climb the cliff, barefoot and in the dark of night. Some of the men fell, but did not scream, for fear of discovery.
I loved this video and think that his most amazing accomplishment was when he conquered countries or city/states, he let their culture thrive and did not try to make them convert to his culture. That made him truly a great ruler. Just my humble opinion
I was in Siwa a decade ago and locals took me to a half buried structure outside of town. We had to crawl around in the sand to get inside and see the partially preserved paintings and glyphs of Alexander's time in Egypt. They told me a bit about what they knew of him and I remember thinking that it should have been on some sort of heritage list but I suppose most tourists don't even know about Alexander being there.
The Truth the World Won't Tell You - (Buddhist Emperor Alexander the Great) Alexander the Great wanted to build an empire to the ends of the earth. The teacher of Emperor Alexander was the great Greek philosopher Aristotle. Aristotle describes the world as a flat disk for the emperor Alexander the Great, and other imperialistic issues besides religious principles are central. In the end, only the two kingdoms of India and China were left for Emperor Alexander to conquer. It is said that North India was annexed to Greece and handed back to India and then went to Greece While capable of easily conquering the two kingdoms . The most famous animal in world history, Alexander the Great's horse, Bucephalus, goes on its last journey during the invasion of northern India. Alexander the Great's invasion of countries ends with his friendship with a Buddhist monk in Northern India, so the Greek Emperor Alexander became a Buddhist and left Northern India for Greece. Buddhism ended Alexander the Great's invasion of countries. After Alexander the Great became a Buddhist, the Greek leaders including Aristotle tried to stop Alexander the Great's journey to Greece and blocked the way to Greece through tactics because the huge empire he created after he came to Greece would become a Buddhist empire.

These are what I heard about Alexander the Great: -His empire contained Southeast Europe,Syria,Iraq,Asia, and Pakistan. -He loved alcohol 🍻,to him it was his long time BFF and it gave him pleasure. -As a military leader,Alexander had a plethora of victories and as a result; every war he fought and won just made him more and more famous 😎 -He accomplished the Gordian Knot; by slicing it in half with his sword and Alexander has a feather helmet and the "feather" of the helmet belongs 2 an eagle. Symbolizes his royalty and authority -Alexander pummeled his foes like nobilities, children, and animals so viciously that they were deformed and wailed in pain 😭 -He also had a fierce steed named Bucephalus;nobody rode his horse but Alexander. He rode it 2 every battle he entered and Bucephalus would run into battle head on fearlessly 🏅 -Unfortunately,his empire fell after he died (cause of death: various; experts say Alexander suffered a horrible fever or he was poisoned ☠ )

If you analyze the actions of Alexander and his army after the Battle of the Hydaspes, then it is very easy to come to conclusion that they really lost and ran away. But the account of the battle was written by the Greek and not by the Indians so obviously the Greek wrote their version of history. Now lets analyze what happened during and after the battle. 1. Alexander was badly wounded in the battle, Porus was not. 2. As per the Greek historian not only Alexander gave back Porus his own kingdom, but gifted Porus the next kingdom called Taxila, that is close to Bactria modern day Afghanistan. And Alexander has never done so anywhere else. So if you connect all the dots, then it is very obvious that Alexander was wounded in the battle and was defeated, and king Porus chased the Greek army not only out of his kingdom but the next kingdom of Taxila and snatched Taxila from the Greeks.

Alexander III of Macedon (Ancient Greek: Ἀλέξανδρος, romanized: Alexandros; 20/21 July 356 BC - 10/11 June 323 BC), most commonly known as Alexander the Great,[c] was a king of the ancient Greek kingdom of Macedon.[d] He succeeded his father Philip II to the throne in 336 BC at the age of 20 and spent most of his ruling years conducting a lengthy military campaign throughout Western Asia, Central Asia, parts of South Asia, and Egypt.
