Sal! May you please make a video on how to do clean installation? I’m struggling with keeping my install clean and always have thin set in the grout lines, on my hands, on my pants on my t-shirts.
For us we just consistently clean tile by tile…prep sheet by prep sheet. Be mindful of plumb and level which leads to choosing the correct trowel size. We also prep our edges of tile at install removing thinset where our spacers would go.
I would check that the tub is level or at least a 1/4” or less. If its more than a 1/4” I wouldn’t move forward until its fixed. Otherwise the water could pool in the corner.

How long did this project take to complete???
Our crew. No niche. Prep and install, takes us 3 full days. Includes siliconing and grouting.

Depends on which side is out of level, low end at the drain will still drain.
@@SalDiBlasi I meant on top and around the edges of the tub. They have a slight slope to them and some are less than others.
