Because I continue getting comments on this video, even though it’s an older video, I want to address a common concern: The horses were not being turned out into a field with halters still on in this video, although I know that wasn’t clear from what I filmed/edited. The area they were filmed in with halters on is a small fenced area next to our house, no bigger than an average-sized backyard. We keep them in this area only when 1) we’re outside with them and 2) we’re going to ride them or work with them again I’m some way after a break, and that’s why their halters are still on. When we’re finished interacting with them, they have much larger fields with the cows that they’re released into, and they wear nothing but their shoes while out in the fields. 💕 I hope that clarifies for anyone that was confused or concerned. Thank you for caring about our horses and their safety. 💕
I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO JEALOUS IN MY LIFE 😭 queenie is beautiful what a blessing. Used to ride alot when I was a young soldier I haven't in over 10 years.
I alwaye loved horses and my daughter does as well. The horses are so calm and nice that the two of them are vibing really well. Your daughter handles for the horse very well. She's gonna be great she keeps it up💕
Thank you!! 💕 Yes, I’m so glad they get along. They don’t like riding without the other one now. Lol 😂 if we leave one behind, they start running and making all kinds of noises like “excuse me, take me too!” 😂😂😂💕💕💕 I definitely think she’ll stick with it! She’s gonna do great! Thanks so much for watching + commenting!
If I was either of their previous owners, I would of been So happy to see how much you guys love them and cherish them, I think they fit your family perfect!! Queenie is gonna be their best friend 🙈
Thank you so much for the sweet comment! It means the world to us! Queenie girl is such a good horse 🐴💕 she’s been amazing for my stepdaughters and I to learn on.
Been watching you guys for four minutes and I instantly subscribed after watching how you guys handle the horses and how you teach your children how to properly interact and love them.
You are so kind. 💕 Since this video was first posted, my oldest stepdaughter has been in riding lessons for about a year and will have her first little local show with Queenie girl in October! Thanks for your sweet comment. We sure do love our horses! 💕
Omg girl!! I wonder how much a horse is. Absolutely beautiful! I have to show this to my daughter Abigail. She obsessed with horses. Y’all are soo Blessed to have all those horses.❤️❤️❤️
Well it depends on the horse... anywhere from 1,000 and upwards of 3-5k depending on the horse and it’s ability and how much work the previous owners put into it, it’s age, it’s breed, etc! Roper was I think 1.6k and Queen was 1.3k, I believe! The biggest expense is their maintenance though! Food won’t be an issue for them here, but their hoof/vet care, the gear to ride them with, etc!
Tiffany Jetter well you could probably get a well trained experienced horse for a couple thousand but if you want a horse with a show record your gonna be looking at upwards of 20k minimum most of the time. Boarding and vet appointments etc really add up (boarding really depend on where you live) but horse riding definitely isn’t the cheapest sport 😅
If my daughter sees this she will freak out!!!! She's been riding English for about a year and she been begging for a horse. Im still on the fence its just such a big responsibility. He's beautiful! Is that dog a blue heeler?? What a precious family !So glad I came across your channel! NEW SUBSCRIBER!!! 💕👍🏼😊
Thank you so much!! 🙏🏻💕 Lol it’s been a couple weeks that we’ve had them now and the excitement still hasn’t worn off! There’s a lot of maintenance with horses for sure, so it’s not a light decision to make! And yes, he’s a Blue Heeler/Australian Shepherd mix, and we love him so so much!! 💕💕💕 His name is Howdy. 😂
What those horses are so beautiful! Love their color! So happy they are now with your family. They definitely look very happy and very calm. Your kids are so natural around animals too. So refreshing to watch!

Hi Laura ! Always wanted to have horses wow! He’s so pretty and your kids are so sweet! Oh my take care of those finger!your husband seems to know much more about horses. Sheriff Murphy is a good name💕

Also I wanted to say maekayla (sorry if I'm spelling that wrong) has a great seat and very soft hands she doesn't yank on the big like other kiddos and sits very nicly in the saddle just wanted to share that with you and your amazing family😊
There’s a place around here where they do horseback riding lessons starting at age 4 so if Savannah Is still in love with horses then (which I think she will be), we will enroll her 🖤
I’m sure she will love it!! Something about girls and horses. The boys could care less. Lol 😂 as you can probably tell from the video. They met them and rode them one time and were like, “okay; we’re done” but the girls all want to ride and brush them and feed them every day.
Omg, they’re absolutely beautiful. My kids are mesmerized! It was my dream to have my own horse as a little girl (wouldn’t work in our city haha). your girls are so lucky! Congrats on the new family members :)
