I'm convinced that Dave Grohl is the Capybara of rock stars. He radiates peace and literally made friends with everybody.
HAHAHAHAH ❤ And to think that he scared me
One of the most pure hearted rockers out there.
😂 not capybara. 😅 I agree, Dave is positive energy embodied.
I love Dave Grohl, but don’t really see the point in him coming on to strum a few chords, not like he’s adding anything to the song, well apart from helping out Axl on the vocals 😂
Dave is so cute I think he's Funny And handsome In a way... And I love the capybara reference!!!! Now I gonna call him "Dave, the capybara"
Glastonbury 2023 has made Coachella look like street fair this year. WTF, every show has been insane and the line up has been ridiculous. I've been enjoying from America just wishing I could be with that incredible crowd who might I say FULLY PRESENT to the Rock-n-Roll experience, they are an extension of the bands and when crowds do that, bands play at their best...thank you Glastonbury!
Nice comments and true words for sure but, you cannot compare Coachella with Glastonbury, or most UK/European festivals.
I always feel rock bands are more appreciated in Europe than in America nowadays, the US needs another Woodstock.
Coachella katers for today's woke generation
@@AlexSpetzplease elaborate on why you cannot compare them ?
@@XXXAVIERXXX69I was about to say the exact same thing!
Give him a bit of credit where its due, axl has been litterally shredding his voice for us for decades.
Now hes out there still giving the gnr experience for us and people that never had that chance!
And all those people that went to his shows back in 89 and didnt get a chance either because he got pissed and left the stage after 2 songs 🤣
Bro spent most days doped up and couldn't remember his lyrics. He made himself work harder at it than he needed to.
He wore his voice out talking me to death on a flight from Heathrow to LAX back in 86.. The guy never shut up.
Axl!? No! No way! 😮
I thought that was Mr. Hankey!
@@seangarrison2323for real? You met him?
Nothing compares to the energy of a live rock show
Except a country show
@@Abax77😂
rocket launch ;)
@@Abax77for sure... let me know when you see a punk or metal show
@@Abax77Not even close! I was born and raised in eastern KY so yea I had my fair share of country shows…..metal & rock concerts are on a different level entirely! I watched Lamb Of God preform last year in Pikeville KY & it was one of the best live shows that I have ever seen! That’s just my personal opinion though!
Dave Grohl really out here like "I'm gonna play with every one of my favorite bands before they're gone if it's the last thing is do" 😂
And he also got to jam with Prince!😎
Dave Grohl is the Phil Collins of his generation. Started as a drummer and he is everywhere that it becomes annoying, but once he is gone everyone will miss him.
Funny you say that, because Nirvana and GnR had a nasty (though short lived) beef in the early 90's. Something that almost came to a head at the 92 VMA's.
I love that Dave Grohl is hitting every stage and making noise everywhere with everyone! He’s earned it and deserves it.
What is more striking to me is that he started as a drummer in Nirvana (not counting his pre-Nirvana days) and he could've just stopped making music after the band broke up but he went on to be one of the best musicians around and now gets to sing with the legends :) Huge respect!
@@alexandrakuzub2338 Indeed

He’s the new Phil Collins. He’s everywhere all the time
Phil Collins? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
To have Grohl, Slash, Bowie and Towelie on stage at the same time is just amazing.
Bowie?
🤣🤣
I think Bowie is dead
I guess he's referring to Duff who give glimpses of a long haired Bowie

“hi axl! hi axl! where’s axl! hi axl!” to this
what a life lol
True lol xddddd
xddd
Haha that’s what i thought too when i see this moment 😂
When the crowd give off good energy, any band responds back, it looked like everyone had a blast, I wish I could have been there..
energy was great for Paradise City and a few of the bigger hits, but songs like Estranged and Mr Brownstone fell a bit flat. Think I was about the only person who had ever heard their cover of Uk Subs down on the farm hahaha. It's the problem when bands play to an audience who aren't all die hard fans of theirs. I was the same for Elton John. I knew his biggest hits, but I didn't know a few of his slower ones. that being said though. The crowds are always up for a good sing along regardless of if they are massive fans or not.
Can you believe some “journalists” framed their reviews like the crowd wasn’t having fun? Unreal. They’d clearly written them before the show even happened.
Wow, never has one performance wanted me to cheer, laugh and cry all at once
Exactly!😂 But never the less they did a great job!
😂😂😂
Well I definitely laughed and cringed 😂
Mostly laugh.
What the hell is wrong with Axl’s voice ?? He sounds weird
When axl realise he has to change to the deeper voice is gonna be another guns n roses era , he has amazing natural voice
BRO! ... IT'S OVER! LOL
@TheBeverlyClown I'm supposed to see them tomorrow in Hershey PA, and after hearing how bad his voice is, I'm really not looking forward to it.
@TheBeverlyClown From all the live stuff I've seen, the band sounds fantastic. I've also noticed that when Axl sings in a lower register, it's not quite as bad, but still not good.
I've seen other comments mentioning Steven Adlers band, and how good they sound. I'll definitely have to check them out.
If he hasn't realized it by now he never will.
So true. I keep waiting it for a very long time. Axl still has a rich baritone voice.
doesnt matter if you love or hate their comeback, they still do give thousands and thousands of people joy and energy in this show
I love the way Dave Grohl sneaks his way into everyone’s band 😂 wonderful human 👍
HI AXL HI AXL WHERES AXL HI AXL
Sneaks Hell, he's invited. In this case the rest of bands saying come sing for us plz
Yeah but Phil Collins did it in the 80s and everybody hated him for it
have you ever met him? Known DG for years so that you can surely say he is a wonderful human?
@@mickadatwist1620 not sure what your point is everyone here is positive about him and my point is totally valid and not really about dave
Oh my that rock noise is just so good. Yes, axls voice isn't what it was but there is no denying that their music is phenomenal
The sound guy does a great job of softening the audio so it keeps his deteriorating voice from overshadowing the performance. I saw them live at a huge stadium recently and his voice was clearly being filtered but it sounded exactly like this recording.
Adler's Appetite singer smokes Axl 🤭😆
Most of them ruin their voices from smoking
61 yes old, forever Rock legends
you know what I didn’t think it was too bad you could tell they had their eye on it though. Bit over the top. Still brilliant though. This one, knocking on heavens door, night train, November rain shit it was all good haha.
I love how Slash just sat on the speaker shredding away still radiates a ton of energy. Man's just here acting like it's just another Tuesday, and it somehow comes off as livelier than Axl bouncing around like he drank an entire espresso machine!
My teenage Idols and they're still rocking it! So excited to see them on stage in Paris in 2 days.
Dave Grohl played with everybody this year! Glad to see him so excited!
This is pretty incredible, especially in light of the feud between Nirvana and Guns n' Roses in the early 90's.
Only Kurt Cobain and Axl Rose were enemies.
@@HK-wu8gxnot true, Dave grohl was teasing axl at the 91 video music awards
Bro, there isn't any point in feuds when your old

So many legends on stage! Incredible performance Guns! 🤘🤘🤘🎸🎸🎸
Rock & Roll is all about the energy! We got it folks! Just listen and look at the crowd and band!
I don't care if Axl sounds like an old lady mimicking Mickey Mouse, I love GnR, and they STILL put on a great performance. They play the hits, and we all sing along live. I hope they do this for another 20 years..... And Dave Grohl is an icon that brings great joy to every stage he's on.... All the best to everyone on this stage.
Well said my man, everyone expects him to be able to sing exactly the way he did in his 20s, it’s so silly especially the fact they are known for being a loud and fast paced live band, they sounded unreal.
Rose has always sounded like his nuts are in a vice
@@jackgreenway4646hey don't expect that, Eric Adams from Manowar, Bruce from Iron Maiden, and many more, are all older, and all sound better than Asshol-EHM sorry, Axl Rose. Big Ego gets a big downfall, and this time its in the shape of a voice akin to Elmo or Mickey Mouse
Honestly I wouldn’t mind gnr with a new lead vocalist like journey did.
@@jaylucas8352 Well you might like Guns N Roses from a few years ago then, lol.
It's Great to see Dave looking happy again , he's a born entertainer he is definitely one in a million

Duff is the true genius. In all aspects of life, music and all that comes with it.
What a bunch of legends...!!!
My all time favourite tune by Guns N Roses. These guys we’ll always be rock legends.
legends never die, they just lose their voice and keep touring $$$
Ahahaha, well I mean as long as there's still fans who want to see you. I imagine for a band like Guns N Roses people are willing to overlook the questionable vocals to get the experience of seeing the original lineup

Just saw The Cure last night, Robert Smith has not lost his voice at all, and they’ve been making music for decades now. I loved GNR but this is just bad.
At fuckin 60 years old 5:46 W Axl fuckin Rose running around like an idiot like he used to in his 20's. LEGEND.
People complaining about his voice. You can play guitar, bass and drums till your 90yrs old. That's easily done. But your voice will go out on you with age. This is the best I've heard him in years. He not 20 years old anymore. But he can still sing the hell out of these songs.🙂
steven tyler still sounds awesome and is way older
@@tedwesthaven there's plenty of great old singers! But age and discipline are a huge factor.
Just saw iron maiden, Bruce is better than ever. Def Leppard still nails it, Geoff Tate from queensryche is still amazing... the list goes on. Axl sounds ridiculous.
No. He sounds terrible
Exactly, he's not 20 years old, so he shouldn't try and sing like he is. There's plenty of good old singers as well, axl was just awful.
What an honour to watch these legendary musicians all perform together on the same stage. SLASH..well...he is just a marvel and the whole show was phenomenal to say these guys have been in it since the 80's. I felt so alive after watching them!!! #longliverocknroll

Alive is the word ,I totally agree they were awesome and then some more 💥💥💥👍
Thanks for loving GUNS N’ ROSES

THIS should be the top reply, right on.
He went from trying to mocking Axl by yelling "Hi, Axl!" to actually joining them on stage.
Guns and Roses and the foo fighters ....omg,f..king amazing!!🤘🤘🤘🎸🎸🎸🎸
Axl is literally Ian Beale, Cartman and Quagmire all in one man. Incredible!

lol
Add Herbert the Pervert and Towelie on the list.
listening to guns growing up in the 80’s was so great i would love to do it again
Back in the 1900s
Axl Rose sounds awful today though. Nothing like the late 80s, early 90s and in 2006 first concert in Ft Lauderdale. From there he went down hill.
Always great time watching GNR performs at big stage. Axl at 61 still radiates that 90's energy. GNR is GNR. Keep on rockin!
No he doesn't. He has nothing in common with 90s axl.
@@jameslightningapplebyhe is Axl

i never tired of listening of their songs they are still no. 1 and best band in the whole world.
If somebody told me in 1992 that in 2023 Dave Grohl would perform with GnR playing Paradise City, I would have called you a crazy ass lunatic lol
On guitar
He already did it years before.
There was actually some discussion of Nirvana joining the Guns 'n' Roses/Metallica tour back in the day. I think some rock star egos may have prevented it from happening though
@@VerryBonne the discussion is what inflamed the beef because Cobain didn't want to do it and he started to shit talk GNR in interviews to distance himself from arena rock bands and then GNR took the bait and the feud took off.
Grohl looked like he was enjoying every second of that......what a team up !!!
Love to see they are on stage together.
I'm going to the concert in Fenway next month and I'm so excited it's gonna be my first concert
The power of Guns N Roses has been slowly returning this year it seems. Happy to see it!
LMAO!

I would have been much happier to just see it, but unfortunately I also had to hear it..
They've been slowly returning for 30 years 😆
Singing over slash in the intro before the whistle was unforgivable.....🌼
You are not wrong, what was that, Duff seemed unimpressed
Well if u didn't know, they've been doing it ever since the reunion
Ohhh.... Well .... If You didn't know...🌼 Your mama....
Yeah what was that?
Axls sang it that way since the 90s
Great to see Dave and GNR as mates having a blast together on stage. Life is too damn short....
Absolute legends!
Always nice to see Dave playing with Guns N' Roses. They could bring Pat Smear along next time, there's no such thing as too many guitars on stage.
Especially as they were once enemies kinda lol
Sim mas queria ouvir o Davi na bateria dessa música ia ser incrível 👍
Mick Jagger would beg to differ.
Great guitars can't save these vocals 🤡
@@themrpedro5858 That's the way he sings now, and everybody knows it. If Axl still wants to keep on with the band, he has to preserve his voice and sing with falsetto.
Great to see Axl enjoying himself..what a legend
I have been going to rock shows for 50 years. I saw Guns and Roses a few years ago in NC. One of the best rock shows I have ever been to. Axl front man the best.
Appetite for Destruction is prob the best rock album ever made. Maybe Nevermind gives it a run for it’s money, special mention to Songs for the Deaf, but all these years later AFD is still the best IMO 👍
Love, Peac and Respect From Indonesia
The funnest part about coming into this video is I had absolutely no clue what instrument Dave Grohl was going to be playing.
Either drums or guitar. Toss a coin. So many instruments to be bemused by
Slash is unreal. One of the best of all time. And all this moaning about axl but he puts on a sick show even at 60 odd. Class
2006 band was better, Finck was waaaay better
Chrissie Hynde at 71 and Elton at 76 were somewhat 'sicker'...Slash was in fine form though
Keep him to backing vocals and introduce a new singer … terrible imo
@@TheoHernandez-wt3qi slash is a better guitarist maybe take lessons from slash before he starts raping his songs
Slash is the glue here. Axl's pipes have deteriorated since his brief stint covering AC/DC a couple of summers ago. He needs to hire a personal trainer and stay away from those rib shacks on the strip.
Eu amo demais a banda ❤❤❤🌹🌹🌹🇧🇷
He sounds way more better than last couple years.
Love it:
Duff: You ever played Paradise City?
Dave: No

They've played it before some years ago
What an epic set that was. Neighbours thought I was nuts having TV that loud. They realised what I was watching and turned theirs up. The power of music. Sweet child of mine at full volume damn near wrecked the TV speakers.
A worthy sacrifice!
Is there any chance that Izzy and Steven would ever play at least one concert wit them again? That would be the ultimate concert to see them all back on stage together one last time
I doubt Steven is gonna play with them again ever but I could see Izzy coming back. He’s done it before

A voice like a ….. But yes, legends never die.
I was gonna say... are we sure that's even him?
Wtf has happened to axl. That voice sounds like something from an alien or someone whos been sucking the helium out of a balloon. Axl listen to yourself.
Kermit?
Seen guns n roses live twice, 2008 & 2017 both time Axl had his traditional gravelly scream. This sounds like someone whose been huffing on the helium. Weird.
He sounds like someone at karaoke trying to sing like old Axel
Slash’s guitar solo finale was epic! No wonder he had to bloody sit down for it! Sheesh…
About Axl's voice:
- he struggles in mid range (mixed voice sounding like Mickey)
BUT
- not only his deep voice is great, but his very high voice is also amazing (that's why he was so surprisingly good with acdc but struggles with some gnr songs)
Theres no such thing as too many guitars, theres no such fukin thing.proves it midway when d.grohl is giving the rythm guitar excellently and as hard as he can.sounds brilliant as in uk we had sound problems and could hardly hear axles vocals so its nice to hear him properly.thanks for footage.🙏🏻🇬🇧👊🏻💙
For people under 35, Dave Grohl when he was in Nirvana in the early 90s, had a very bad relationship with Guns and Roses, Kurt Cobain hated G&R ...I loved both bands

In fact it's an easier thing now. Listen to that!
@@NegoClauDid he actually hate him or just think he was a pompous, self-important ass? In Kurt’s defence, Axl’s ego was out of control at the time (and for many years to come). Axl seems super chill these days. Great to see. 👍🏽
