To be honest I like the sound how it is right now. Your voice is clear, good quality, and loud enough, while hearing how the car actually sounds from the inside is a bonus for people like me who are looking to purchase the car 😉
By the way the hesitation at stop sign is due to the speed not going to 0. Not for the pedestrian. New in v13 is it has a lot of training data is for rolling stops but they are hardcoding a full stop. They can solve this by rounding down 1km/h to 0 but not sure NHTSA would be happy, who are the same agency that mandated full stops.
Reverse is great but it's most important backing out of a parking lot space. Think how often you have to constantly look back and forth as you back up. FSD is looking both ways all the time so it's skill in backing out of the spot is far superior to a human. I used this several times today in complex parking lots with lots of pedestrians and vehicles behind me.
The double stops are due to the speedometer not reacher 0km/h. the car is hardcoded to come to a full stop every time but is probably trained on data that has some rolling stops. hopefully they address this
One key time that you want self driving is in bad weather. Snow storms, fog, heavy rain. If you with your 2 cameras and a brain as a CPU can manage driving in those conditions, FSD will eventually get there too. HW4 or 5? who knows. But will get there in a few years I think. Interested in FSD. Do not have it on our 2024 M3. Love to use it when we get demos.
The problem with not stopping at the first time is probably related to the smoothness and using regenerative breaking instead of physical breaks. It seems like it tries to predict when it will reach zero speed, so it could accelerate slowly right after that. I guess that amount of decelleration is not correct for some reason. Maybe it is conected to the road conditions too.
Does your tesla see the difference between green arrow straight and green arrow right and full green? My model 3 hw3 fsd 12.5 can't see the difference I also live in Montreal
maybe it does that in stops because the car is in hurry. the car doesnt fully stop when the problem happens it slows down to 1km/h and tries to continue but then stops again because its "illegal" to not do a full stop. Hopefully some downtown driving soon hehe
Great video. I gather than you are accustomed to work in collaboration with the computer. Do you think using FSD is less tiresome than conventional driving ?
lol 700 Canadian pesos. And I’m guessing you’re not a influencer that gets priority for version releases. Do you find it a bit stressful because you should be driving? I tested 12.3 a month ago.
Sadly no priority :( maybe if the account grows enough? Haha It reduces my driving stress. Takes 2-3 weeks to understand FSD’s “brain” and then everything is predictable
@@FSDCanadaMtl What do you think happens when they prioritize you? I wonder if they shift more resources (idk compute? to make free advertising) Thanks for highlighting the brain piece, I guess it would make sense if you sat in and it was consistent-ish. I was looking at the stock astrology, appears to be institutions will but at 360-320 range. Not sure if that helps/
Would you be interested in doing a video review and installation of aftermarket products? If so, could you please provide your email address so we can talk further?

Thanks for the comment, yea I realized this today as well. Will be on the watch list of fixed to come for sure
but tesla allows speeding, which is a violation....
@@dougbolton5503 shhh don't tell NHTSA
Appreciate your drive commentary, etc...
Thanks!

Yea true I realized that today. It’s for sure getting fixed in updates

Good observation about road conditions. Maybe influences it
Great one again! Can I ask you about your filming setup? Especially the suction cup mount. Than you!!
Merci
The cameras dont have any washers or anything? you just have to clean them all the time?
The front two cameras are behind the windshield so they are protected. Others aren't although most have heaters.

No it doesn’t either :/ im assuming its because the states dont have such signals

People explained the issue in the comments ;)
@@FSDCanadaMtl nobody had explained it the moment i posted it lmao just realized like 20 ppl been explaining it
Are there any third-party solutions to keep the cameras clean?

100% less tiring to use the software and just intervene when needed

Is the Tesla capable of reading speed signs?
Yea it does, but also misses them sometimes
