FSD 13 has a feature that if other teslas experience a traffic or an accident ahead, it will inform other teslas and if your car has been informed, it will change navigation and take you to a different route while avoiding the incident ahead and it also has speed profile which are chill, standard and hurry, so if you are in hurry, the car will usually go faster than the speed limit

I’m a little jealous seeing FSD 13 perform so well in Montreal. I’m also in Montreal… but "stuck" with a HW3 car that is 2 years old today. Hopefully will see something good with the promised fsd 12.6 by the end of the year

HUUUUUUUUUUGE, cant wait to watch your videos! I hope a lot of the navigation issues will be addessed once tesla starts building a more information rich map with lane/signage data from the fleet that can be updated in real time.

Interesting to see how it would deal with actual snow. I also noticed quite a bit of mistakes it made. Like the passing @8:36 would get you a fine here. Wonder if it'll ever learn local laws.

Great video. I prefer when waiting for lights that the video playback is sped up rather than cut. If u see what I mean. But it is nice that you are giving us perspective of FSD in cold snowy winter in Canada. I would also suggest pushing it using your knowledge of local area. Pre defined challenge area maybe. Stress testing the system is the most interesting. If u so that frequently I’ll be back to view more and more.

Great Test. Please do more snow tests.
It‘s quite important for a company, situated on African latitudes to get snow and ice interventions.
Tesla should in the near future introduce a snow mode, to which it automatically shifts if there is snow on the street.
    Behaviour changing with snow-height.
Should also detect ice areas - as it detects pot-holes - and react accordingly.
There is some living outside desert-zones.

Thanks for your FSD version 13 video. Being from the US, I am not used to seeing speeds in KPH. I had to do a google conversion from KPH to MPH. So, 52 KPH is 32 MPH. Was wondering how fast FSD was going in Snowy conditions.
    Take care.

Do these signs, blinking lights and directional lights just not show up in the States or something? Or are they always paired with big bold letters in English and lane demarcations(which wouldn't show up in the snow). Why is it so hard to have a local database of these built-in?

Is it allowed to overtake on the right side on Highway in Canada? That is a super dangerous and illegal manouver in Europe. Nobody expects someone on the back right side.
For some mysterious reason in Sweden the way safest traffic country in the world it became legal to overtake on the right in dual lane up to 70 km/h a few years ago. Which has led to people doing it on the highway and it causes accidents. You really can't have to rules for the more or less exakt same thing.
Before the change you could overtake in a queue situation if one queue moved faster.

When you are testing a new version in new conditions, it is reasonable being careful. It does not matter if it is a version 13 or 27. You gain confidence over time, not 'just because'. You are risking your possession and life here. So don't be silly and expect for people to be careless because you want them to.
