Jim, we were at the same venue in Johannesburg around 2019. I bravely walked onto stage and introduced myself. Telling everyone that I was comatose for 15 days after a Head injury. I had Three Brain operations, however I am still able to Walk
Very interesting podcast! I never looked at that aspect of my bedding! But! I think its missing a lot of the big picture. Here's my take to improve sleep: - environment (temperature, air quality / co2+VOC, bedding quality/comfort, noise and partner movements) - physical ability to breathe (craniofacial dystrophy, hypotonic orofacial muscles OR overweight fat leading to small airway that creates UARS/OSA) => buteyko breathing, oromyofunctionnal therapy and mouth taping - nutrition / biochemistry / sun exposure (vitamins, minerals, hormones) => proper human diet - pre sleep routine + going to sleep at the same time everyday for circadian rythm - physical exercise - technology hygiene (content/social media consumption discipline) + turn off all wifi/5g at night - have meaningful human contact to raise oxytocin
I agree, when you have proper sleep or a good sleep in general, that will really help your mental health. I also use Bromantane from Swisschems to help with my sleep. It helps me to relax and makes it easier to fall asleep. It also helps to reduce anxiety and improve my mood.
Sleep with soft earplugs, switch off your mobile at 9 p.m. and put it in another room. I didn't believe that latter is that important but your (and my brain) reacts to a nearby, visible mobile phone with increasing activity!

Quality content and great conversation once again, thank you both
I listen to UA-cam in the background, while sleeping. Subliminal messages: is there another method?
Don't do that XD
It’s crazy how EMFs impact sleep quality.
Thank you so much! ❤️

Watching 📺 TV before sleeping? Is this bad?
Yes
According to the Sleep Doctor apparently not.
My gawd. I thought this podcast was about the science. Instead it spirales out into a infomercial with psudoscience and quackery. Stay away.
The new version of QVC sales TV shopping channel... What a ridiculous info-mertial.
