I love your video. I am rebuilding a pair right now but the plastic upper spring guides are destroyed by corrosion. Do you know how to find them anywhere?
I would start with a parts website or ebay. Most parts I have to get off ebay due to the age of the bike. Try to find the parts diagram first to source a part number, then happy hunting. 🤙
Thanks for this video and the links! Much appreciated. I just got a 1970 Trail 90, and both the front and rear suspension are super squishy. Do you find that the replaced suspension allows you auto carry another adult passenger without bottoming out on bigger bumps?
I already sold the bike but, Id say if you rebuilt / or replaced the suspension it would be completely fine with two adults. You can even get new suspension with bigger springs inside so they can handle more weight. Theres a huge market for aftermarket parts for CT90s
That handle in the middle of the handle bars, can you buy that part new? I have been trying to find a video of it action, but I don't what it is called.

Looks nice man! Do those new front forks have a drain valve to replace oil or are they sealed up?
Id assume so but Im sorry it’s been so long i couldn’t tell ya I’ve forgotten.

I would look it up on a website called Dr. Atv they have literally almost every OEM part for CTs
