    Any piece of pipe that slips over the solid fork tube will work as a slide hammer to put in that seal.

    thanks, very useful. On my CT90 forks there is a phillips head screw on the bottom of the fork,which was a lot more difficult to get moving than a regular allen type like all other moto forks ive rebuilt. I guess its not 100% neccesary to undo them to get the fork apart as you show,but to genuinely get them clean it can be a good idea,im replacing them with allen type

    Awesome Bruce!! Thank You...On most forks you have to remove the screw in the very bottom of the fork leg to get them apart. Apparently not CT forks.

    Use old fork seal to hit new fork seal in.

      Good idea. I'll try it. This will spread the force out more evenly and there would be less risk of damaging the new seal. Thank you!
