I love the simplicity of a single omega bracket but find that as the lights spin the bolt starts to come lose despite tightening it as much as I can. I have started using a single zip tie to make sure it doesn't turn too far.

Fredrik, while I haven't sat and listened to them specifically for noise in a quiet room. I have never been distracted by them while setting up in a quiet room. The fans are pretty much silent and the motors are quieter than many of the more expensive units I've had. I think you'll be fine.
Yes, absolutely. It's not as bright as the other model of this fixture but it is a very effective white spot/flood. You would want to use it in a darker environment of course. If you need to use it in a brighter room then get the other model.
Depends on use. If you're using if or stage then maybe not. It's more of an aerial effect than a spot for highlighting someone. It does function well as a traditional spot or wash from a dance or wedding point of view where you may want to wash a part of the room or spot an object. I hope that helps.
