- In this video I do an in depth review of my newest light fixture the ADJ VIZI hex wash 7. A 105W moving head LED wash and beam fixture. Real gig video included in this review. Towards the end of the video I have a story about my parts light purchase which you can skip to 20:23 to pass that story.
Checkout the Powercon to Edison adapter that I got here:

I was going to get the Eliminator Stealth Wash Zoom because the price but would you say these are worth the extra $600? Only thing that I found I might not like like with the cheaper Eliminator Stealth Wash Zoom is its only 12W.
Personally I'm not buying American branded lights any more, basically all elimiators new lights are chinese stuff with an elimnator logo. Go checkout the video I just published on this topic!
3 pin and 5 pin are isolated data thru. So sadly you will never be able to do 3 & 5 out of the same fixture
I'm not sure exactly what you are trying to say, but if you use a 3pin converter, you can use the light effectively as a splitter which is the point in the video.
@@DJALEXBROWN if the fixture supports both 3 pin and 5pin outputs. You cannot use both 3&5pin outputs. You can either do 3 pin or 5 pin. Not both. Yes you can get a converter to go from 3 to 5. What I’m saying is you can’t use both outputs on the same fixture. At least you can’t on Chauvet professional rouge R2X spot.
@@A7XMARINE101 You would be incorrect for this light, and in my experience all ADJ lighting products with 3 and 5 pin. At least when using a 3 pin source and fixtures, the ADJ products effectively seem to split the DMX signal across both the 3 and 5 pin and duplicate it. Same for Wifly transciever, vizi, and wmx from experience. This could be because ADJ does something lightly different with their DMX, but I don't remember exactly what it was. But 3 and pin can be used at the same time on ADJ fixtures from my expereience
