Larry, I commend you for a great video and continuing to bike, even after your accident! This trike has really great features like turning lights…. So innovative! 💡Have fun on your summer adventures & stay safe!! 🙏🌞
Great review, Larry. I have an electric bike and enjoy it immensely. Its kept me on the road after developing lower back issues that prevented me from continuing on with my road bike. I love bikes. I think they could save the world!
Thanks, Larry. Can you make a video that shows how it's folded? I can't find anyone who makes a video to show whether the front wheel on this nicely fits in between the frame and the rear wheel like on a Lectric XP.
Try this video: "Fun For Everyone! Mooncool TK1 Folding Electric Trike | Great For Camping and RV Travel" by DestinationOpenRoad. He shows it folded at 5:40 in. The front wheel does not tuck into the two rear wheels but sits outside of them.
@@larryware1, thank you for taking the time to respond to me. Bummer it won't fold in like that. It's the one advantage other folding trikes seem to have, to me.
I need an etrike that turns into a rollator/walker with a basket at the destination 😂. I'd love to be able to ride to the store ....hop off...disconnect and hobble around the shop ...then hop back on and bring the shopping home. The store is less than 2 miles away. It should be perfectly possible ❤
Hi Larry, My husband has heart issues. Do you need to pedal in order for the trike to work? I don't know much about E- bikes, and I am looking for a way to still enjoy the outdoors with him.
Affordable is relative 🤷♀️ I do love the overall size and weight, plus this actually has usable and strong baskets! Larry this is probably the best quality review I’ve ever seen of any product! Thank you😊 If you folks spend much time across the river over in Pekin? I can no longer drive due to brain injury which has caused other issues like balance and health issues… Pretty much stuck in the house and boy this would be a godsend to give me choices and the ability to get places! My concern is driving it around other people do you have any opinion on that for this area?😅
Thank you for your kind comment, Dharmaslife. I don't have any advice for riding it in Pekin since I've never biked over there. It's better if you can ride this where there is no traffic. I wouldn't recommend it for most roadways unless they have a built in bike lane due to its width. It's must a little more for cars to trek around. Otherwise, I can't recommend it enough.
Most of the reclining trikes I see have the 2 wheels in front and 1 in the back. I remember my toddler years riding a kid's trike and tipping over if I made too sharp of a turn. Have you experienced any of the tipping or feeling like you will tip over?
A gal in our neighborhood was biking on an e bike that can go up to 30 mph , hit a hole, was thrown, broke her neck, and died this week. E bikes can fool you into a false sense of safety. Professional mountain bikers who with years of experience don’t even go that fast because they know about the hazards of the trail. I’m sure Larry is a careful, conscientious e-biker but I can’t say I would recommend them to just anyone.
Fortunately the top speed on the Mooncool trike is 15.6 mph. It doesn't go unsafe speeds. So sorry about what happened to the neighborhood girl. 30 mph is WAY too fast for an e-bike.
You get quite a few of products to try. Are you able to keep these items? Over the last six months you have been gifted with a number of items...portable power units, solar generators , a couple of power stations, coffees, a bike (although you already have your own) and more. How can those who are struggling financially be able to buy some of these items? Why don't you just help people save money, not spend money? I'm guessing you make money when someone buys an item you advertise. As usual, it's all about the money.
Over the past 36 years when we felt strongly we needed something, we set a goal, researched our options, and saved for it. We have owned a number of high-quality items and we figured out a way to get them. As far as "free" samples go: We must pay 35% tax on them. We then spend upwards of FIFTY hours to research, evaluate, test, film, edit, and upload that review. I'd say that makes it far from FREE. If you want the same opportunities, then start your own channel, work 40+ hours a week on it, and grow it. You might find yourself with a tad less time to leave nasty comments which cast aspersions on other people's character.
Yes, I so agree. I slow way down for pedestrians so they don't have to be shocked at my approach from behind. I also gently sound the horn so they know I'm coming.
Mooncool shipped me this Tk1 with a front tire that has a hole in it. Also paint was chipping on the fenders. They took 30 days to ship the trike , then 3 weeks to send a new wheel and and the new wheel is used with badly bent spokes. Now they are talking about sending another wheel. I demand a partial refund and they act like they didn't read that part. The trike came shipped with the battery, clearly its used. Going 3 months and I haven't rode it yet!
It's amazing how busy the neighborhood gets when you're trying to film a video! 😂

Thank you so much, Triple Threat!
I have a Sun Trike tricycle! Love it for hauling groceries and for stability of ride.
They are very nice for running errands.

Wonderful, so glad you were able to get one. Yes, they really do give you a 2nd chance at cycling.
The trike sounds great, thank you for giving your review.
You are so welcome! Can't wait to get out on it later today!
Great Job Larry!
Thank you!
Love how you go through all the features. Thanks.
Well done Larry!Thank you for sharing this great review!
Thank you!

Best video I’ve seen on this trike- great job!!!👏🏼
Thanks Larry. I would love to get one of these!
Hi Larry, My husband has heart issues. Do you need to pedal in order for the trike to work? I don't know much about E- bikes, and I am looking for a way to still enjoy the outdoors with him.
This one has a throttle. You don't have to pedal.

I have forgotten how to balance on my bicycle: so I am considering a tricycle.
A trike would be perfect for balance issues. I would highly recommend this one.
same here ❤
Very thorough review. Thank you. Very appealing product - really tempted. Checking out the website.

No, I take corners slowly. You learn to just slow down on curves and corners. It's not a problem as long as you do that.
Well done Larry🚴
Great review very thorough thank you
Im saving up for the sixthreezero rickshaw electric trike!
I looked at the Rickshaw trike. It's much more expensive but includes a rear bench seat for passengers.
@larryware1 yes great for older hubby and grand babies!

Larry, what are your thoughts on NEW Mooncool TK1 PRO
Wouldn't it be great if we had safe, dedicated bike infrastructure throughout the US?
They've talked about it in larger towns - we've filled out surveys. But, not much has happened.
Can this bike be locked when going into a store? My neighborhood is iffy!
It can be locked. I wouldn't leave it outside for very long, in fact, I never have yet left my trike.
90 lbs including battery and motor?
I've seen some UA-cam videos say it weighs 110 with everything on it. I'm using the net pound reading from the website.

Larry is the best and deserves😢 every thing he has. 5:39
You are a great video spokesman pal! You give viewers confidence! Talk to Mooncool for me, they're ripping me off
cyclists and e-bikers please respect pedestrians when sharing the trail instead of bullying us because you have a need for speed.
Yes, I so agree. I slow way down for pedestrians so they don't have to be shocked at my approach from behind. I also gently sound the horn so they know I'm coming.
Exactly! You can share the word ❤
That seat is awfully high.
Please don't fall off of it.
Don’t buy from Moon cool they sold me a bike with a defective battery and refused to do anything about it
Awesome !
I just subscribed
