I guess the scratch switch doesn't work because you use the usb output. You should use the line output into a USB-interface (like the Behringer UCA222) into the ipad. Maybe than you will be able to use it.
Santiago Villalba I used a genetic. you have to make sure it's the accessory cable and read the reviews. I had to really look on Amazon to make sure I had the right one

I'm looking at combining my Reloop SPIN with an Akai AMX mixer that has Serato and plugging that into my iPad. I'm confused about the DVS expansion pack. Does getting the Edjing app sidestep that requirement?
Dude with the respin it seems u have lotta money this video is for us on the cheap to get full DVs goin on edge your gonna have to fish Anotjer 40 then serato 7 inch vynil by no means this is a cheap hobby and u gotta know how to solder which is hard I jumped into this figured buy this 170 belt drive have sim gum yea right I got SOMUCH invested into my 01s I’m embarrassed I could have to full size pioneer500s and and scratch mixer by numark I HATE FAKE MARKETING THEY DONT EVEN GIVE U INSTRUCTIONS
Somehow I ended up here again. It was all good until I lost my original apple adapter and bought a cheap thirdparty knock off for the iphone.. Seems Apple are blocking anything that isnt apple certified. Not sure if ipads are affected.
Jonathan Barinque there are some limitations... the Raiden fader only cuts on one side...so you will need a splitter and put it mono mode. But the app will let you pay two sound files at once. Please throw a like on the vid
Mini Scratch ok me i'm from Poland and i don't understand you but if you say that is mean that you can't do the same mixes that i do on my smartphone on my turntablez so it is not what i want .by way have you seen the video of Pro link ,we don't have to use tablet etc to scratch on our turntablez this is nice ! thank you and good continuation for 2018 brother !
Also wonder whether it would work with a windows laptop. Pt01 connected to laptop via usb cable which edjing would recognize as a controller like it does with your set up

I only think it will not work.. I think it will function as a start/stop switch for the app..

I personally have not tried it. But people do use vinyl emulators on the PT-01 scratch.
