Hello. I just purchased a freshie mold because i loved the angel wings with a heart in the middle, but i was curious as to what a freshie was so here i am. My question is.. can i mix it with resin as in put the freshie in the middle the pour resin on the sides - for the wings ? Thanks.

Have you tried natural scents; curious if for instance, lemon juice, or mint leaves or cinnamon or vanilla or things like that would work??? Ideas? (sometimes I try to save a little money) Also, are the beads totally dry when they've cured?
Those won’t be absorbed by the beads the same as fragrance oils and those natural scents may not have the right flash point to withstand the heat in the oven. The beads aren’t totally dry, they’re a little bit oily but not enough to stick to the sides of the jar
Hi would you recommend using the resin to the backside because I heard if you have the heat on and the freshies are in your vent it would melt but I had a problem in the summer I made a cup holder and the resin started melting ugh 😩 thanks 😩😫
No I haven’t had that problem and I wouldn’t put resin on the beads as I don’t think it would bond well anyways. Also if your resin is melting then it’s not the right resin to use for products going into a vehicle. Most quality 2 part resins have a temp resistance of 500F so if it’s melting in a hot car then it’s not quality resin.
Hello! So, I am a tad late on finding out about these "freshies", but I have a newbie question that may have already been asked. Also, it may sound a little rude, but I truly want to know. I didn't hear if you mentioned how long the scent is going to last or when it will begin to fade after baking? I realize that it won't last as long in the car, especially in the warmer temps, BUT regardless of how long, is it worth spending the extra $$ and well, I guess the time as well, to put the vinyl, card stock and the beads on instead of just the roping since the fragrance is not permanent? I am still curious as to the length of time the scent will last though. Oh and also, when putting the card stock, vinyl, glue, & glitter on, wouldn't they prevent the scent from fully being able to be released?

I didn’t seal the glitter on these I just brushed the excess off really well. You can seal it with a mod podge non aerosol spray sealer tho amzn.to/3R9hWrJ
How do you keep that glitter from falling all over the car? I noticed it was falling off a little on your hand. Have you tried sealing it with Modge Podge?

How long did it take for your Cavinder Boot Barn beads to dry? I started 6 different fragrances for a wk and that’s the only one that’s still wet. I’ve heard from other freshie makers that the fragrances w/ leather in it take a long time to dry. T.I.A
It kept freezing couldn't get to load. Sorry I tried to watch it a few different time. Sorry. UA-cam was having issues or maybe it was my internet. 🤷🏼♀️ Thank you

It’s safe in your oven. The smell dissipates really quickly! If you plan to make a lot tho I’d get a dedicated small oven

If it is a silicone mold and you don't pour deep, yes. But I wouldn't use it as a traditional freshie, leaving it in your car.

Circle cutter can be found on amazon. It doesn’t drip melt it just will warp slightly

I don’t think the beads will absorb the scent oils after it’s been baked

Theres no eay to preserve the scent. I would make them as they are purchased and not beforehand
