I've bought 3 Harleys now, a 1996 Fat Boy, a 2017 Low Rider S and now a new 2022 Fat Boy with the Milwaukee 8 engine. I loved my 96 Fat Boy but the new 2022 Fat Boy is an incredible machine. It runs much better than my 96 with the evo engine, the handling is better and I love being able to adjust the rear shock with the hand crank. The Milwaukee 8 engine is much more powerful, runs beautifully and the torque is amazing. I love this bike, I was on the fence for a while whether to buy the Fat Boy or one of the baggers but I made the right decision for me, I like the capability of having detachable bags and windshield and go totally naked. The bike wasn't cheap but you only life to live and I didn't want to live any longer without a Fat Boy. Great video guys, keep innovating, the adventure bike you just made gave Harley the financial injection it needed and more it needed to show the younger crowd that Harley can make motorcycles that appeal to the young and old. I read your new adventure bike was rated the best of adventure bikes, that's great!! I want Harley to live on another hundred years and beyond, it has a heritage of building great American motorcycles for those of us who want to get away from the cities and see the country. Keep it up!!
Great video guys. You can see the pride coming through from all the team associated with putting together the new bikes. Looking forward to taking one for a ride.
I just got a 2018 FLHTK-ANV, put around 1000 km on it in less than 1 week, and am pleased with its power, comfort, and all the cosmetic details. The exhausts sound a bit inferior to the previous touring models. Also I was surprised that the almost $40K bike did not come with a tool kit. I asked the dealer and was told that the tool kit could be purchased separately for around $50! Rather than these issues the bike looks and rides above my expectations.
Just bought a 2020 Roadglide limited, just about 100 miles away from my 1000 mile check up and so far it’s a wonderful motorcycle, don’t need to ride anything else, I’m happy.
I loved my '14 FLD. Rode that sucker all the way down the east coast of Florida on A1A solo. Damn good and reliable bike! But then came along my wife, who loved riding, but we both wanted more comfort, so along came my '16 FLHTKU and it has been an equally amazing machine!
I just did a demo ride at Walter bros. in Peoria Illinois, and the the new engine is not only sexy to look at it, but they are smooth power, so far gotta say job well done
IT IS BY ALL MEANS AND DEEDS THE AMERICAN LEGEND ... HARLEY DAVIDSON IS A WAY OF LIFE ... HARLEY DAVIDSON IS WORTH IT'S WEIGHT IN GOLD ... EXCELLENT JOB WELL DONE 👏 ✔️
So Harvey-Diddleson made an engine in 2017 that's almost as advanced as the 1978 Honda CX500 V-Twin. I gather 40+ year old motorcycle technology IS new and exciting when you wait an eternity for H-D to get around to it.
My favorite ride is my 2016 Pro Street Breakout in Pearl White! I love going down to the Southern Hocking hills of Ohio where you have winding twisting roads that my CVO loves to corner! With the extra ground clearance that my CVO has I have yet to scrap a foot peg unlike my 2013 Breakout. Of course I had a 117 kit bolted in before I even picked my bike up, once again I' m in LOVE with my new Harley and riding, AWESOME!
Very nice to see Harley making a major investment in upgrading its big bore engines. I'm sure the competition from Indian was part of the motivation and I'm happy to see that HD is responding with the new Milwaukee Eight.
First off Harley you guys make enough money that the videos could be a whole lot less cheesy scripted. I think we all understand the need to change things up to placate the EPA. I will be the first to give you a big thumbs up on the Milwaukee 8 and all of the mods and refinements that have come out on in the past 4 years and seem to have culminated in the 2017 models. In my opinion it looks like you are finally starting to listen to the actual riders. To that I will say Thank You!!! One thing that you keep trying to bring up that doesn't come across all that well is tradition. I think it is time for you to stop looking at yourselves for the traditional aspect of the legend Harley Davidson, and start looking to the riders past, present, and future who have made, maintain, and will carry that legend forward. For a lot of us our ties to the past is where the tradition begins. If you want to spread the word about tradition then get out there and meet your client base and see what makes them ride, and in particular ride a Harley. Go find the legend and let the story tell itself. You will have large group that buy simply because they want a Harley in the garage as bragging rights. They will trade in every couple of years to maintain those bragging rights. Not much of a story there. Just the old competing with the Jones story. There are others that grew up listening to the stories from their elders about the Harley's they owned, and listened dreaming of owning their own someday. When luck and circumstances at some point in there lives came together they were able to make that happen. They were born from tradition and many have passed that tradition on to their kids and grand kids. If you want to talk tradition that is the story you need to be telling because it is their legacy as well as yours. You might want to consider putting together a Traditions Tour. Get on the bikes you produce, and get out there in rural America and meet those that keep you alive and hear their stories. If you do that unscripted and let the story evolve and tell itself you might be surprised what you come up with to pass on to future generations as well as to use for future inspiration. Kind of like taking the pulse of the rider. If you do though do it right. Do it with a small film crew and support vehicles only. Not buses, trucks, and a Harley three ring circus. Make it an approachable gathering not a public spectacle.
Excellent video on peoples faces, clothing, personal happiness, yellow robot arms and caged room dividers. Good for the home and gardening network Next video we'll probably learn a bit about the shrubbery outside.
I loved mine, but performance wasn't my concern. I had to let it go due to the terrible suspension, both front and rear. Spent money on 3 sets of shocks and 2 different seats, then I gave up.
glad to see the 4 valve head i had a honda 500 that had 4 valves per head it ran great i am big fan of harly i love the limited low i bought last year wished i waited now lol
2010 Fat Boy Lo,121300 kms on the clock,6 months off ridin with 2 left shoulder ops, there would of been shit loads more kms on me bike if it wasn't for me fukn shoulder!! Rain ,hail ,windy or sweet sunshine ,RIDE TO LIVE LIVE TO RIDE ..!!!...Cheers for the vid!ROCKNFUKNROLL
Since you guys are "Listening", we the people who stand behind H-D and buy these bikes want a headset profile for the Infotainment System. Not asking for much...just what the competitors are making. Please make that happen!!
do yourself a favor and test ride electra glideclassic the twin cooled limited makes a funny top end noise.also they dont advertise the fact they dont have an oil cooler the twin cool only cools top end for rider comfort doing very little help for the engine.they have a water pump where the oil cooler is on youre street glide
Have you fix the problem on the camshaft tensioners I know the older bikes are twin cam this is a single cam but I'm worried about the chain cam tensioners they seem to wear out around 15 to 30k
I drove to Bay City Michigan paid cash for a blue Sportster and i put a large knobby tire on the back because i like to travel back roads and trails... the sportster has about 900 cc's at that time about 1970's.
I own and ride a 2000 fxdx, 2001 flhtp Electra glide and a 2004 flhtp road king. I obviously like the tc88. I hope this new motor can match the success of the tc88.
last i heard the REAL XR-750 was a pure dirt track machine that HD stopped building quite a while ago...and due to the fact that you needed a pro license to buy one sorta tough to call it a favorite ride and have everybody appreciate what you are talking about seeing how hardly anyone actually got to ride one. This "thing" HD is selling now..and you notice I didn't say "building"...is a FAR and from what I have heard a pathetic cry from the old school XR-750 that was still quite competitive. And besides it is not an XR-750.. it is an XG-750R...in Harley definitions that can be a huge difference..;..
i bought two 2019 road kings nethier one can keep oil in the transmission , dealer told me to ride them one thousand miles and bring them in for the one thousand mile service and they will fix them. heart of Dixie Harley Davidson Pelham Alabama really
FUCK OFF, you punk-ass bitch, I am so damn sick of guys like you. Have you ever watched a video and been doing something else at the same time and you miss part of the video?????
I know a Lady in England that bought one of these in a Trike and so far has blown 2 engines and eventually Harley had to give her a completely new trike. Sounds like they have severe reliability problems.
Great product, however, more R&D required. My SGS M8 2017, has had 3 oil pumps. The third is finally an S&S, compensator failed, HD said normal wear and tear, HD said no warranty claim. Finally, oil transfer gbox to primary, fixed under warranty.

First, your adjustment know is almost non accessible, cant get your fist around it all the way to turn it. Second the vent DOES NOT prevent head buffeting, and lastly...just bought a 21, why cant you guys engineer an engine that doesnt need to be kept under 3k on the rpms for the 1st 500 miles?
Harley are over priced. The average car dealer makes about $1500 on each unit sold. Harley dealers pay about $16,000 for a bike and sells it for $24,000. Crazy profit thats why we see an HD dealer on every corner. But not for much longer.

I think it's awesome that multi generations are working at y'alls factory! That good to see improvements still being made on a iconic motorcycle too!

I just did a demo ride at Walter bros. in Peoria Illinois, and the the new engine is not only sexy to look at it, but they are smooth power, so far gotta say job well done

Classic American Bikes Since 1903 🇺🇸😎
Though I love the Sporty's, the Scout decimates it in terms performance. When are y'all doing a refit on the Sporty?
I loved mine, but performance wasn't my concern. I had to let it go due to the terrible suspension, both front and rear. Spent money on 3 sets of shocks and 2 different seats, then I gave up.
@@fabiors10 / try legend shocks
Sporty? Yessir my favorite ride is my '84 ironhead...the last of the original shovel designs before they went to the Evo.

I've nvr heard of any issues with the m8...
You didn't show the engine casting part. Where are the cylinder cases and heads casted?
The new softail low ride and sport glide are my favorite 🤘just wish the sport glide had mid controls 😔
Awesome that it's not made in Mexico yet
Bring back the FXR
Just picked up the 2017 Street Glide S, loved it so much, I'm trading in my 2016 Tri-Glide for a 2017 Ultra Limited.

Plus one on bringing back the FXDXT
Man did you all record the interviews with a VHS camera?
Have you fix the problem on the camshaft tensioners I know the older bikes are twin cam this is a single cam but I'm worried about the chain cam tensioners they seem to wear out around 15 to 30k
Just awaiting the delivery of my new 2021 fatboy 🇦🇺
I drove to Bay City Michigan paid cash for a blue Sportster and i put a large knobby tire on the back because i like to travel back roads and trails... the sportster has about 900 cc's at that time about 1970's.
I love my 2016 Limited now I wish I would have waited a couple of months and got 2017
I own and ride a 2000 fxdx, 2001 flhtp Electra glide and a 2004 flhtp road king. I obviously like the tc88. I hope this new motor can match the success of the tc88.
About time, favorite ride, XR750,

I also would like to know are all parts made here in the U.S. or are they produced overseas in other countries?
That's what I'm wondering
i bought two 2019 road kings nethier one can keep oil in the transmission , dealer told me to ride them one thousand miles and bring them in for the one thousand mile service and they will fix them. heart of Dixie Harley Davidson Pelham Alabama really

Is this replacing the 103? And is the 107 in the 2017 Trikes as well or just the Touring Bikes? Awesome video!!
For now only touring
Trikes get the 107 as well as Touring models.

They said Touring & TRIKES loud and clear at the begining of THIS video! Do You people even have ears?
FUCK OFF, you punk-ass bitch, I am so damn sick of guys like you. Have you ever watched a video and been doing something else at the same time and you miss part of the video?????

I'll stick with my '49 EL thank you.
