In 1980 an old fella came up to me and checked out my new Fatbob Superglide. Scratching his grey bristles, he commented how much Harleys had changed since he had his ex-military WLA back in the day.
After watching this latest release, I’m now the one who is scratching his grey whiskers and wondering the same!
This! ☝👍
Wonderful Comment
amazing how life comes around, after 40+ years

Let's goooooo! 🤘 (Edit: FIRST! lol)

What’s amazing is, 95% of Harley Davidson‘s ever manufactured since the company started in 1903 are still on the road today. The other 5%, they made it home.
ACONCAGUA ARGENTINA
Same exact chassis and a few more cubes and a bigger screen…… We want more hp and not over heat in grid lock traffic in Texas.
Cooling on the vvt motors is different if you actually look
I like the look, but why no bronx? Thats something i think would really sell well
A CVO-FXST or a Super V-Rod with that new Pan American CVO motor is what I would purchase TODAY. Lean & low... I can dream. These commercials are well done.
Great video and bikes, just wish they sounded like that from the factory!
They are beautiful, however HD must do something about the major problems in the new CVO models and do it quickly.
Love the new styles! Thanks for the great video about the new bikes.
I can’t believe HD put the time into a CVO Pan Am, the bike that isn’t selling or can be purchased barely used with a few hundred miles on it for $10k under MSRP! Odd choices.. CVO owners will be upset they just paid $60k for all new a few months ago and now everyone can get the same look for almost half that.. crazy.
Maybe it doesn't sell where you live, but I've seen a ton of them. Kinda like the lowrider st. In rural areas I don't see many, but larger urban areas they sell like hotcakes
@@Axle-7the 7 or so dealers I follow and have visited usually have one over in the corner with a little display like a red headed step child. In the state of Pennsylvania across all the scenic byways I have seen two in the 5 or so years it has been out. It is more prevalent on HD endorsed social media than anywhere else. I have seen a number of them traded in at other brand dealers in the past few years, with 300 to 2200 miles on them.. usually listed for $15,999 or so.
@Kwhopperfan Again, I've seen many in the wild. Just because they don't sell in your part of the country doesn't mean they don't sell
@@Axle-7 well everyone is entitled to their opinion 👍🏼 in Pennsylvania one of the hottest spots for adventure motorcycles due to the crap roads and miles of state game land roads and the recent BDR routes added in im just surprised there isn’t more of them available and out on the roads. I’ll have to look up their sales figures.
Where are you from? and how many do you see regularly and for sale at your local dealers in your quad state region? It’d be interesting to compare stats.
@@Axle-7 sales numbers were 2,500 in 2022. That’s more than I would have thought, so about 50 per state. That’s more than likely why I’ve only seen 10 or 12 for sale and 2 or 3 out on the road. I’ve seen more Yamaha star ventures than that lol
The Dentist Glide is finally here.
😁
I actually really like the look of the new Road Gide and Street Glide! Especially the white paint color! Always loved the look of a white on black trim Harley. Currently own a 2009 Dark Candy Red Honda Shadow Aero. Love the motorcycle and I'll keep it until it dies. For long trips though, I'd love to put a Road Glide in the stable in a few years.
That CVO Pan is a goooooooo! So beautiful and deadly looking.
Cvo RG st. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
AWESOME! Love the Whiskey Fire color, looks great!!!
Sack Rainbow Boy
I like that 117 !!!!
Freakin cool! Still knocking Polaris out of the park😂 Seems Harley is doing just fine with the modernization of these Road beasts!
WTF....no bike specs? Here you are, buy it now.....epic fail
Head over to www.h-d.com/ to see the all-new 2024 models, including specs. Thanks!
@@harleydavidson You totally missed the mark....talk about the bike!! People want to know about the bike, not some BS storyline.....again epic fail
Notice how Harley only likes the comments that are positive and support their ideas. No one likes criticism, but when it's positive criticism and nothing personal, it can only provide salvation for business and increase sales. Never be arrogant and throw your customers opinions and desires to the wind. There is no room for ego. You'll do well to listen!!
Wait Mike Wolfe from American pickers? I thought he rode Indians?
15:24 people customize every adventure bike!! Harley isn’t the only bike that’s customizable!
Funny, no stock Harley sounds like the bikes in the videos. You have to spend an extra $2000 for that…
I really like the Roland Sands gear you sell!
Damn I love this!!!
They have a new target demographic, and it's not the working class. Also, WHERE'S THE BRONX?! People have been asking for years HD... something they would actually buy... why haven't you delivered yet?
Interesting how HD brand has nothing to do with me and still I've got one. Hell of a good looking motorcycle. That's the only reason.
Restyled fairing and TFT dash makes the Street Glide and Road Glide all new? I don't think so.
Loved what they said about traveling cross country on a motorcycle… that’s why I will be taking my KTM 1290 SAS, or get back on a BMW GSA to experience that.
Yea they are cool, just sucks you cant get on a bagger for under 25k, bring back the road king and standard please. Make good head way at moving forward but your are leaving many of us behind.
I’m still sold on the BMW R18.
Looks like the Street Glide and Road Glide came off of an Indian assembly line. I love my Street Glide ST, but my next bike will be an Indian since they look the same now.
You are the best Harley davidson 🇺🇲..👑..❤
Those that can’t afford the CVO are going to bash it, but I love the new look, color scheme, and the new technology. The shovelhead era is over, get over it! Those last two minutes were crazy!
what is the logic of the ultra limited and road glide limited not getting the VVT engine & all the new goodies, display etc?
Road glide and Street Glide are their most popular bikes. They're supplying the most popular bikes first for market infiltration. The rest will get it later when production can meet demands,
The limiteds are about 6-7k higher then the standard models.... as a customer for a limited in 2024, does not make sense for me to spend more for an older engine, display, etc...
So that they can do it next year and put “new design!!!” In their marketing
It's the dawn of a new era, and we've only just begun. We wanted to ensure there are options for all customers by providing variations within both the classic and new models in our 2024 lineup.
It's very fine that Harleys are as well made as they look and have the right sound and feel. Get a Harley. Pick a highway, not your nose.
Beautiful machines but I'm still left disappointed. Where is a 975 version of the Pan Am? This is one of the hottest segments right now with middleweight adventure bikes, and HD is completely ignoring it.
Road King Standard needs brought back.
Road glide st looks lit. I wonder if the overall dollar:performance is worth it vs a previous gen roadglide with 135ci build.
Is their anyway of disabling the Tire Pressure Monitoring System on my 2017 CVO Ultra?
Ytf would you want to do that?
Because Its Crap, I dont run my tires at 40psi, I want a choice. Now the rear tire monitor thing is broken and I have to buy a kit to get it fixed, $400 plus fitting for something I never wanted. The question is "Can it be turned off" The rear one has an error saying my tire is flat so the Red Engine Light is always on my speedo
The existing front forks are fine on a Heritage. but seem cost cutting on almost all the other models. Adventure riding can leave you very vulnerable and the Pan America reliability issues must be improved. As an adventure rider I know dropping the bike can be expensive and stupidly expensive on a CVO adventure bike. Might be a tough year for Harley sales.
If they keep at that pure bull, a bright shining one, they’ll go down, which I wish not
I paused the video and ordered a Buell Super Cruiser
Indian present here🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳
Let’s go
Sensacional!!! Lindas demais!❤❤❤❤
Where is the ultra limited cvo ??
🤘🏾 Right On!
“The customization that you don’t see with any other adventure bike”. That guy hasn’t been around many adv bikes. 🤦🏻♂️
And 29ish thousand for the CVO PanAm (well over 30 out the door where I am) is pretty darn expensive. Only others at that price that come to mind are loaded 1250GS and v4 Multistrada--not sure how big the market will be for H-D in that space.. but might be surprised haha
@@ThisCloseBandEspecially with that Pan America’s known unreliability.
I mean there's people making pan america into an fxr, you don't see any 1250GS being customized into r75/5 right? I think that's what he meant
ADV Bikes are some of the most customized, people are riding them around the world. lol
@@yurismono Correct. Most, if not all GS owners aren’t going to make their bikes less capable by converting it to a cruiser. They would probably buy a dedicated machine.
I got a 2002 Roadking and I now look at it like a parent who just found out his child is a serial killer 🤮
This feels like a kick in the teeth for every day Harley riders. A big bluster over yet more crazily overpriced increasingly out of reach toys for the rich. Once upon a time, Harley knew how to engage new blood and encourage new riders into the fold, with a range of attractive, fun, customisable Sportster models, and made in the USA step up models like dynas and softails. Sadly the reliance on a shrinking demographic of people with enough spare cash to buy these big tourers is going to end in the demise of the Mo Co. The current two model “Sport” category is doing nothing but handing the baton on to the competition. As for the softails, why would I pay the best part of £20k for a Harley built in Thailand? It no wonder our local Indian Triumph and Royal Enfield dealers are doing so well whilst our closest Harley dealer is closing down. Time for a rethink Harley-Davidson, you’ve lost the plot!
The big corporate model is to sell fewer at a much higher profit. They see regular people as a waste of time. If you don't have $1000 to spend on an oil change and tune up they want you to leave.
My local HD dealer also sells Royal Enfield. Guess they need to capture those other customers somehow.

Why are they making all the motorcycles in this video sound like they have an aftermarket exhaust when in reality they sound like sewing machines out of the factory? Also, will these continue to eat oil? My 23 Lowrider ST consumes a quart every 1300 miles. Will I get reimbursed for the $400 I had to spend on a Trask transmission top cover to remedy the blow by?
that seems a bit excessive ?
@@scooternut7198I agree. 2023 Lowrider ST burns 1 quart of synthetic under 1500 miles and I ride pretty easy. I had to fork out $400 for a Trask transmission top cover to remedy blow by. I love my bike, it’s sexy, but I’m very disappointed and Harley says it’s normal.
I'm pretty sure they put the mic closer to the exhaust, but these bikes definitely sound this crisp on acceleration in the real world. I just can't hear much of my RH1250 because I have a tight helmet. May get an exhaust on her.
I can go 4000 miles before a oil change and not need to add a drop, because it does not leak or burn any drops. What do I ride? 2017 Victory Gunner. Polaris knows how to make em.
I dont get the hype some of you are showing. I don't see anything new and exciting here. We all saw that pretty much last year with some subtle changes now and new names. And you guys act as if your minds are blown. Either you got some nice gifts waiting for you to say something to build up the hype or all got extreme low expectations. As a Harley enthusiast im not even 1% excited to see these bikes because its nothing we didn't already see, and i like my Harleys plain and simple. Like a blank canvas ready for the painter (owner) to work his magic (customize it). These bikes are the polar opposite of a blank canvas.

These bikes are aimed at an increasingly wealthy audience.
Some one has to pay for the production of these videos. Lol
Definitely who the hell can afford them
@@RoadGlider1839 Very few people
So what? Nowadays people think that companies have to sell exactly for them. If you can't buy, just don't do it.
No. They’re for an audience that works and produces something for the world. …not just clocks in and exists. They’re for the go-getters. If you can’t afford one, make a change. Join the military, go to a trade school or college, work harder than the next guy at the construction site and stay sober, save for a year or two on top of building good credit and put in a down payment.
If I can afford one as a disabled veteran working part time with 3 kids and a house, YOU can. Go get a CDL. It takes a month and you’ll start at a MINIMUM of 45k-50k/yr. …More like 65k+ and I live in low cost of living and pay Arkansas. I wanted a Harley with a sickness for years before I got mine. The ride is 100% worth the pain of the price.
I always wonder why harley does what they do lately, i find it hard to believe that its demographic asks for more “tech” and screens when
The average customer can barely operate an iPhone as an owner of three street glides and 40 years old even I don’t want so much tech in my Harley
Any excuse just to raise the prices of the bikes!
They just lowered the Street Glide and Road Glide models to $25,999.@@Harleyxl1776 We would love to get you on one :)
@@Harleyxl1776 except they didn't
I agree. You get to a point where tech is distracting and frustrating. What happened to just going out and putting some mile on a bike. Half the time my Sena Bluetooth helmet has connection problems and I feel like throwing it in the trash.
@@jagjr6772 exactly! And the “tech” is really not tech i mean come on we have had screens like this for 20 yeara but its a good excuse to jack up the price! Which is what really annoys me
Who, in their right mind, would take an over-priced CVO Pan America off road and risk scratches and dings? What a waste of money that would be!!
No one. Just like most of the BMW GS buyers. It supposed to compete with top BMW and Ducati ADVs I guess…
Such a disappointment. Not a new Era. Only thing new is fairing designs. Where's the Bronx? Where's the smaller engine Pan-America? Get your heads out of the sand and listen to people. The Bronx would sell like hotcakes! My son doesn't like Harley but said he'd buy a Bronx in a heartbeat. He's 24.
I thought this was only a SG/RG intro.
They are listening to people. That's why they're doing this. Not everyone thinks like you, infact the majority doesnt think like you. That's why they dont do what you want them too. No one ever promised a smaller engine PanAm. Bronx wont be there because their market research shows it wont compete well in the space its designed for. You have no idea if the bronx will sell like hotcakes.
If there's anything HD has learned over these years, is that making bikes to sell to complainers doesnt work because complainers just want to complain and wont actually buy these bikes they say they will. They've tried this a half a dozen times in the past decade and it never works.
So pray tell why would you keep doing something that doesnt work?
Road Glides, Street Glides, PanAms and LRSTs sell thats why they keep making them.
@FranBunnyFFXII For the smaller Panam, there were already leaks about it. That's why I brought it up. Using the smaller revolution max 975 engine. I like the cruisers. No one says stop making them. But if you want to stay relevant and attract more people, then you need to go for it. It's not just me wanting the Bronx. The amount of youtube videos, comments on videos, and chatter about it shows people do want it. No one says forget the heritage bikes. Keep making them. Just offer some fresh stuff. That is why I love they made the PanAm to start with. I live they went liquid cooled on the new sporsters. They can make fantastic bikes. Just make some more and appeal to others and keep this brand going.
Lmao. This IS the new era. Hate to break it to you but HD is about baggers and soft tails FIRST. Why? Because that’s what the people want, that’s what sells. If you’re so heartbroken about the Bronx not being released, there’s a power sports dealer somewhere that will sell you some Jap Crap that resembles the Bronx.
No not your 24yo son!!! Harley really needs to get it together so they can influence and motivate your 24yo son into purchasing a Harley. Damn them!! Damn them hard!!! Your poor son must be devastated.
meh, same old same old. They are nice but only targeting a certain kind of individual. My guess is that they are too expensive to even buy.

The only thing on here that is remotely “new era” is the CVO ST. Every other section was some sappy story from someone who doesn’t even fit 80% of the H-D customer base. Does the marketing team live under a rock? All the customers have been screaming for the things they wanna see, and you proceed to copy and paste the Indian challenger and call it “all new” and try and soften the blow with the CVO ST. If HD didn’t have such a loyal customer base and charge way too much for a motor with two wheels, it would be going bankrupt.

Gotta say, I am a little underwhelmed. No 975 Pan America, got rid of the Street Glide ST, and how many Road Glide varients do you really need?
Love the new Street Glide, absolutely nailed it!
No one likes all that digital crap. We love Guage's
Hokey AF. I struggled to get thru 10 mins, mostly because I expected some detail on the new lineup of bikes. Instead, I get barraged with an American Picker and his emo GF wrongly stating, ‘most people ride to escape,’ when in reality, many of us ride to engage. Sorry, but I just don’t care about their feelings; I was interested in the bikes. This was just so disconnected. The marketing people did HD dirty as it makes it seem like the whole reveal was a distraction to cover up for a lack of innovation and inspiration. And on top of that, there’s now a significant upcharge for classic black and that’s an outright travesty and a mockery of the very people who helped HD build such a great culture.
Mike Wolfe really? Now I am for sure not drinking any more KoolAid
They need to develop and release the Bronx!
yes!!
Its the sportster s.
Why are the new bikes for the ones that ride from Starbucks to Starbucks
I'm a Honda guy, but love all bikes. And I really like the look of these Road Glides and the Pan America. REALLY like the orange!
Is it just me, but I seem to prefer the original, rounded batwing fairing, without the angles. Also, whilst the new large digital screen is obviously quite impressive, I still like the nostalgic feel of the round dials. What would have been ideal for me would have been to see a slight increase in size of the current digital screen, whilst still keeping the old 4 analogue dials. But I guess I’m just an old bugger set in my ways.
I completely agree. I'm all for tech but when the new hi-fi screen just tries to replicate the old analogue gauges, the message is clear. Give me a great motor on two wheels, one that sounds great on a bike that feels & handles great and is cool by being simple. Now that's a bike.
The new CVO ST IS A BEAUTIFUL MACHINE! That’s what we want to see! Also, good stuff keeping the price of the CVO decent for what y’all did! I dig it!
Disappointed!!!
Can proudly say I'm finally at a point now that I can afford pretty much any bike I want--but nothing here is gonna make me open up my wallet. The MoCo is aiming right at me with this promo and I'm not impressed. And by aiming at me, they're moving further and further away from the part of the bell curve that will support their future existence. The value just isn't there, it's actually insulting to think about how much they're asking and how little we're getting for it. Yes custom paint is expensive but there's a reason people pay for custom paint. It's because that's what makes it yours. Custom paint doesn't come as one of two choices from the dealership, that's factory paint and I'll keep buying the black one then have it painted at a paint shop if I want to get real custom paint. And while I'm at it I'll keep rockin my 114 with a Woods 22xe cam and round gauges at half the price of this stuff.
I’m gonna wait to trade up til the Chrome Road King comes back with that 117. I would love that engine and chassis minus the computer screen.
Always the Same 😂
Yeah. That video of mike wolf and his chick is going to convince me to buy one of these overpriced anchors.
She doesn’t look like anything special.. Probably just nag you to death. Do you wanna see some hot looking women? Hang out at the local Ducati dealer when their club is having a meeting. All these little hot Italian girls OMG.
These light stripes on the Street Glide fairing look so cheap and destroy the whole look...What were they thinking?
Some real odd design choices lately, aside from the leds you mentioned, the air filter cover looks like a cheap aftermarket part. They killed the signature double eye headlight of the Road Glide, too much electronic ( I don't care much for LCD screen, in the previous models at least we got the analog gauges), and they even stopped making the Road King standard.
Like the purity of the rounded batwing fairing - not so keen on the new ‘angled’ version. It seems to have lost something.
After seeing it in person, I like it. I will buy one within the next couple years, I'll likely wait til the inverted forks make it to the specials
They are just like new vehicles these days. Cheaper materials cheaper build cost and higher profits.
“The dawn of a new era” I feel like they missed the mark on that one. The CVOs are amazing but realistically, the people who actually ride HDs can’t afford a bike at that price point. The street glide and road glide are nice but they honestly got a new fairing and infotainment. That doesn’t really scream “new era” I was really hoping we were gonna be blessed with a new model. I was really thinking they were gonna unveil the Bronx.
Prices down good . The problem with dealers is their own fiduciary management. When a dealer can sell all their bikes at MSRP, display the prices openly (Laidlaw for example ) and be straight with you that tells me there is mismanagement with most other dealers paying thousands over a bike already priced like a car.
Prices down ? If you want a black bike you gotta pay extra
so.... more of the same? and the only new thing you did was make a more expensive version of the pan america?
Great job Harley, for the first time in a long time I'm just gonna keep my mouth shut and just admire the work....LOL! Damned now I want a CVO Pan America!!!!
From what I see, my favorite bikes (RG ST/SG ST), that were already too expensive but reachable, are replaced with something more expensive that the majority of the audience will never be able to afford new. Excited for HD to release new bikes but this years releases took something expensive but reachable and made them impossible. ST's were $30k new plus all the fees that come with a new bike. Now that price is $43k plus fees???
I managed to pick up a brand new 2022 SG ST last year, just as the new 2023 models were with quite a decent bit of discount, just as the 2023s were hitting the showrooms. So glad I did as the new fairing doesn’t really do it for me. Yes, I’ll admit that the new DRLs are quite impressive, but to me it seems to have lost something?
50k out the door
@@fabiors10 and possibly more depending on the specific dealer fees. I don't deal with the closest dealer to me because a new bike isn't leaving with less than 10k added to the MSRP. It's insane.
