That tuned out so good can't wait for the next one we make. I've been looking at some of the footage for the wheel of time footage and its going to be awesome. Make sure you subscribe !!!
What do you think of the Lan cast!?! I'm trying to temper my excitement for it as live action adaptations typically don't translate well. But it's WOT! 😆
Dude you realize that when finished if you unsheathe a Crysknife blood must be drawn!!!!! Glad you got that at the end. Comment began at the beginning. I figured you would have cut your self on camera by accident. Shai Hulud would be proud. Bless your comings and goings
I have a feeling this channel is going to be huge.. you really got something here. Great content.. High quality editing. Movie quality actually. Keep up the great work
Excellent job on the knife! However, I am just as impressed with how you included not only the successes of the project, but also the obstacles. I love channels that sprinkle in footage of shortcomings/ when things don't go exactly as planned. Definitely a humble, creative, & truly unique channel- thank you for your hard work Joe! 💪🎥
Hi Joseph, I'm James from the UK, I like what you are doing with your video can I just say that you have a great sense of humour. if you are anything like your brother I'm sure you will get some backing from the companies out there, keep up the good work mate. Can't wait for the next video of what you are going to make. All the best from James from the UK
I can’t imagine the pressure on your shoulders when cutting and drilling the mammoth tusk! It not like if you cracked the tusk you can easily get a new one. Really cool project can’t wait to see new content.
Wow. Very impressive project, video and production. You're a natural behind the camera. Look forward to seeing your journey. Edit: Omg a Jeffrey Deaver reference? The bone collector is an amazing book from my favorite author. Well done!
Great work Joseph 👍 I'm a fan of the Dune series too. From one small UA-camr to another if you fancy doing a collaboration one day on a project is be glad to help. All the very best. Cheers J
So cool 😎 you definitely captured the Dune essence. As an Amateur carver of deer antler and bone i know the smell that comes from sanding scrimshaw. 😂 not fun
As i was wathcing this, i kept thinking "well, its no Man At Arms piece, but its ok". But then the final piece was so incredibly good, its better than what they would make. Theirs would be "perfect" and therefore inferior to what the Crys is supposed to be, a rugged symbol of power and a desert combat tool. Only thing, i had hoped the blade to be more translucent, with some kind of ember sheen. I bet a tiny LED in the hilt shining into the lenght of the blade would illuminate it something amazing. The faintest of glows would be amazing.
Liked subscribed and definitely enjoyed your craftsmanship humor and oops 😬 lol just found out about ur new channel and I have to say awesome as with ur brothers! Great job young man 👏 I'll be watching n catching up on your vids 🤪😵💫🙂
The final outcome looks great love it man. But the mammoth bone looks like wood to me at least through video and especially while you were working on it. Was thinking it would look more like ivory or elephant tusks since its from a mammoth but I guess fossilization process changed it.
Same here when I worked with antler it doesn't really seem to have a grain but this stuff seems to have layers to it as you sand it away. I can tell you from experience nothing stinks like bone or ivory, so if I got jipped and it actually was wood it's one stinky wood lol
Pshh did you do a good job??? Bro you made an as real to life cryse knife as you can make😂😂😂😂😂....ummm yeah my guy, you knocked it out of the park. Dude that is so awesome, truly a beautiful blade all around🫡🫡🫡🫡🙏🙏if anything we should thank you for making a real cryse knife lmao
ok, so far your knife comes closest to what I think of when reading the description. "It was a curved and double-edged like a kindjal , and 20 centimeters long, milky white in color and iridescent, and had a black handle with deep finger ridges separated from the blade by a slim round ring instead of a shearing-guard. Crysknifes are blades made from the tooth of a Sandworm."
Yeah I think it's interesting that Frank Herbert decided to make them smaller when the sandworms are so big that's why I feel like the one from the new movie is probably the most accurate to what would be reality considering that when we see the teeth of the sand worm they're about 60 ft long so the knife must literally be just the tippy tip of those teeth.
That tuned out so good can't wait for the next one we make. I've been looking at some of the footage for the wheel of time footage and its going to be awesome. Make sure you subscribe !!!
Absolutely love your channel fowler.. and definitely looking forward to this channels videos. How frequently can we expect uploads!?
What do you think of the Lan cast!?! I'm trying to temper my excitement for it as live action adaptations typically don't translate well. But it's WOT! 😆
That is Dune level quality right there, looks like it could be a prop in the movie!

Great knife Joe. Spreads a nice coat of butter.
If you make videos like this, your channel will be huge. Just glad I got here at 2k
Wowsers….that was a lot of work. But the results are super cool. Great job Joe!!
That was impressive. I loved your sense of humor and movie cuts. It was hilarious. Can’t wait to see more.
Putting a 40k yr old tusk into fake butter… just strikes me as so absurd! lol, very entertaining video, thank you!
Very cool video, the knife turned out fantastic, great job
That's insane dude

Awesome! Thank you!
I'm absolutely obsessed with Dune and I would love to get my hands on something like that! Fantastic video, subbed because of the ending 😂
You're going far brother God bless
This is pretty awesome, my dude.
You sir are an utterly adorable goblin and a hell of a maker.
Awesome job, it turned out great! Can't wait for the next video!
I can’t imagine the pressure on your shoulders when cutting and drilling the mammoth tusk! It not like if you cracked the tusk you can easily get a new one. Really cool project can’t wait to see new content.

Talented family
you need an acid base, some thing that they would call phlox you can pick it up at most HVAC shops
Are you referring to an acid based flux?

Great work Joseph 👍 I'm a fan of the Dune series too. From one small UA-camr to another if you fancy doing a collaboration one day on a project is be glad to help. All the very best. Cheers J
Thanks
Why it's 30k+ views, amazing production and only 808 likes!!! PEOPLE ARE YOU CRAZY
Fun fact, the wooden handle would technically make this Crysknife more of a status symbol since ya know, Dune don't got no trees.
You sir are a awesome craftsman.
TBH ...I was thinking ...wwhhyyy? 5 seconds later he said, "That's why I made you baby." I giggled, you got me. Redeemed.
Well done sir. I dig it!
That's some good craftsman ship
Nice
Great job on this!
Fantastic mate, you are going do well!
what a great job.
Beautiful.
And you did one hell of an awesome job 👏👏👏👏💯💯👌🤘🏻🤘🏻🔥🔥🔥
That is so awesome.
Great job 👏
So cool 😎 you definitely captured the Dune essence. As an Amateur carver of deer antler and bone i know the smell that comes from sanding scrimshaw. 😂 not fun
It's pretty awful lol
Great video
I think whale baleen would be closer then a mammoth tusk. The sandworm "teeth" are hairs. Like whale baleen.
Wow great job man. And you’re so hilarious 😂
I appreciate that!
Amazing!
The crysknife in children of dune had a small hole where the nerve ending was
Is that in the scifi mini series, or in the book? I'm currently reading through dune messiah!
As i was wathcing this, i kept thinking "well, its no Man At Arms piece, but its ok". But then the final piece was so incredibly good, its better than what they would make. Saya suka 👍👍👍
Freman will see this and say hell yeah
In a real knife fight, will it chip and shatter?
Probably if I hit the blades together ,but if I can stick them first I'll win LOL
quality.
Vary cool

I heard the thrid episode Joseph Fowler makes a samuria sword out of a 65 million old petrified dinosaur turd
Spoiler alert, thanks pal lol!
@@JosephFowlerMaker Sorry i got excited
It’s amazing, isn’t mammoth tusks rare and expensive?
Depends on how much you need. I think for everything it was $170.00
@@JosephFowlerMaker wow that is cheaper than I expected
Wooohooooo

S.N.
One question..why is there a brass knuckle amongst your chisels and wood tools?😂😂
I'm not telling 😉💯👑
Who killed the mammoth.
Time
Your metal working skills need a little improvement.
Definitely agree LOL
@@JosephFowlerMaker Not bad although we all have to start somewhere.
