Hi there we have been following yourself and martin for the last 4 months and beleave it or not have seen every vlog from the time you left the marina. Been a very enjoyable experiance. We look forward to the future vlogs with joy and antipation ❤❤❤❤ Andrew and Coral
Super hero episode! Julie and Martin to the rescue 😁. It’s lovely how you all help each other on the canals. Another beautiful cruise, helped by the gorgeous sunshine of course. Thank you for sharing your adventures. Have a great weekend xx
It’s lovely to have been able to help those people on the day boat, they only had the boat for a day, so we were really pleased it was a simple fix! That canal was just stunning, so beautiful! Thank you! xx
Hey, the 3 amigos back together, not forgetting Finn. Lovely lush green on that cruise. Those poor people on the day boat, luckily you was there. Shout out to Martin, the superstar ✨️
Hi Debbie & Martin, that stretch of canal was just stunning, so beautiful! We couldn’t let those people carry on like that, they couldn’t have been enjoying it, we were only too pleased that we could help! Speak soon! xx
Hi Tracy, not quite sure what you mean 🤔 We first met Caroline & Pete in November 2022 on the Llangollen and we’ve been friends ever since. We didn’t know them when we first got our boat, but I believe they moved onto their boat around the same time as we did, September 2021. Not sure if I’ve answered your question lol, let me know if not! Thanks Tracy xx
@@JulieandMartinonRIB OH, so sorry. Somehow I got the impression that you and Caroline were sisters. Silly me. But now my mystery is solved. thank youn so much for responding.
Ah, what an epic vlog this is, got me all emotional as well. All this love for and on the cut is so heartwarming to witness, wonderful stuff, guys. And great to see Nicky and Finn again. ❤❤❤
Hi Eric! We certainly had an eventful cruise that day, we were only too glad we could help, and it was lovely to see Nikki & Finn again. Thanks for the lovely compliment, thanks Eric! xx
Hi Martin and Julie! Another lovely vlog and beautiful scenery 😍The CRT should pay you for all the wonderful things you do to help other boaters, etc.! So fortunate to run into Nikki that day! Also, now I’m excited to hear your news! Until next time ❤
Hi Nancy, the scenery along that stretch was amazing, we loved it! It was great seeing Nikki and Finn again too! We will let you know our news in a couple of week’s time, promise! Thanks Nancy! xx
Thank you so much for this wonderful vlog, the canal is just so beautiful and peaceful here. Martin I really enjoyed taking a walk with you, to bad the shops were closed. Once again you both came to the rescue for boats in trouble. Take care, looking forward to the next video. 😃❤️
Hi guys, This was just magical such wonderful scenery. Every time I hear Martin on his klaxon horn I hear in my head a bloke yelling....DIVE DIVE... Hopefully that will never happen.🤣🤣 I must say I have to disagree with you Martin for my wife is the most wonderful and best in the...Oh it's alright now she's gone in the other room.😂😂🤣🤣 Years ago my two brothers and I bought a three quarter cabin boat between the three of us, as you know my last name is Mower. So we caller the boat Mowers ark. They were the days that I will always remember because I was with my two brothers, fishing, camping down by the river, attempting very badly to ski, and having lots of fun both on the river and in the ocean. My brothers, mom and dad are gone now but I still have my sister to torment when I go to see her.😄 Good on you guys for helping the people on that hire boat I think you really made there day, as you say the boating community on the canals are wonderful. See ya next time.👍🏻👍🏻❤❤
Aww what lovely memories you have with your brothers! 🥰 We were only too glad to have been able to help those people on the day boat, thankfully it was just a quick fix! That stretch of canal was just stunning, we loved it! Thank you Geoff! xx
Well done Martin, you deserve to put your feet up with a pint. Hard work but it must be so satisfying to know you have helped someone. Well done to you both. Xx
Wow, this one had it all. Starting with grinding your bottom (of the boat that is) because it was so shallow, a little romance happening on the stern (hope you checked the "not for children" box on this one.), Martin going down a strangers weed hatch, and a little superhero action saving someone's drifting home. What more could a person ask for? All that was missing was Julie pulling out the strap on... 😂🤣 It really did look like just a good day all around. Really anxious to hear what the news is btw.... another TV show maybe? Thanks for sharing. Take care.
Lol, so many innuendos! 😂😂🤣 We had a lovely day that day and it was so nice to meet up with Nikki & Finn again too! We’ll let you know the news in a couple of weeks, you’re on the right track! 😉 Thanks Roger! xx
Hi Harry, the smoke was because they had all that plastic wrapped around their propeller, when Martin went to help them, he couldn’t feel any propeller blades, it was a complete ball of plastic! Once the yellow plastic had been removed, it calmed right down and the engine cooled. We’ll definitely remember what you’ve said though, just in case we ever get white smoke! Thanks Harry! xx
Helped you through a couple of locks today (Saturday 28th) at Meaford just before Barlaston. I thought you looked familiar for some reason but it wasn’t until the boat following behind said who you were. Nice to meet you and you now have a new subscriber 👍
Hiya! Thank you so much for your help yesterday, it was so kind of you and very much appreciated! Lovely to have you onboard our little channel too! Hopefully next time we see you, you’ll be on your own boat out on the cut! Thank you! xx
Aww thanks Kerry, we couldn’t let them carry on like that, you could see they really weren’t having fun, it was nice to put the smiles back on their faces, it didn’t take long either 😃 Hope you and Colin are both ok xx
Hi James, it’s what most boaters would do, we couldn’t let those people carry on with all that smoke, at least it was an easy fix and they could continue on and have a good day! Thanks James! xx
I will refrain from my grandmothers' colloquialisms and stick to normal American English and say "A great episode and you are right that canal y'all are on is beautiful. Keep them coming.
With all those beautiful reflections of the bridges in the water, you might consider selling photo prints for people to hang on the wall of the beautiful site you see. One of the other UA-camrs I watch on sailboats does that with photos that they capture that are very outstanding
Hi Both, Your narrowboat looks loved, great to see the extra added bits. What's the added bit on the tiller pin bottom? Go on show us again please. Quality is in the detail 👍😁X🐇x
Aww thank you Julie, I think you mean the tassel, it’s to stop the tiller pin just being taken off and they look good lol. We bought it from one of the boat trader fender makers. We’ll try to remember to film it next time. We’re a few videos behind, so it wouldn’t be for a few weeks. Thanks Julie! xx
Yes think you’re right there! Today’s buildings and bridges just have no character at all, it’s all straight lines and concrete slabs! Thanks Doc, glad you’re enjoying our videos! Thanks! xx
You are such good soles, canal RAC I think. What a beautiful canal you are on, the scenery of the canal is itself very beautiful indeed. Plus the wildlife along the banks, its it own world. Although I am Health unable I feel very envious of you both, it has everything we all desire. Keep steady!
Wow you really are super savers with that smoking engine and the adrift boat, well done. What a beautiful canal. Excited for you about the news. We have had a guess but not saying here but if it’s what we think it fabulous and cannot wait to watch 😊😊😊❤❤❤
Ninja qui, that canal was gorgeous and that day was certainly eventful! Sounds like you may have guessed it 🤪, but we’re keeping it quiet for another two weeks and will then let the cat out of the bag, it’ll be interesting to see if you’re right! Thanks Jacqui! xx
Absolutely lovely vlog! You two are one of the most adorable couples on the cut. Watch every episode of your journey. sadly our waterways are almost all given over to recreation where there are big area's but the small rivers an creeks are mostly over grown in my area. But I love your snippets an snatches of canal life very beautiful. thank you 😀
Aww Steve, thank you, what lovely compliments! That sounds a shame that your waterways are overgrown, but I bet there is loads of wildlife taking advantage of that! So pleased you’re enjoying the videos, that stretch of canal was just stunning, we really enjoyed that cruise! Thanks Steve! xx
Hi Gill, it’s amazing, we knew the canals were pretty, but some stretches are just stunning, and can only be seen from the water, we do feel lucky to have this as our garden, so pleased you are enjoying our journeys! Thank you! xx
Yes, we couldn’t believe how much plastic was around their propeller, Martin did well and we were only too pleased to have been able to help them! Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you! xx
Oh wow, love that, ‘Reflection Perfection’ Barbara! I may use this on a video thumbnail, sometimes the reflections are just amazing, this stretch of canal was just stunning! Thank you! xx
Really agree that the bridges and reflections are fantastic. Lovely vlog as always. Hope you are managing to stay relatively dry in this awful weather we are having. Time for the stove to go on.
Hi Jackie, oh yes, we have the stove on at the moment, in fact, today I made a lovely vegetable soup for lunch using the stove, it was lovely! It’s definitely getting chillier now! So glad you enjoyed this one, that stretch of canal was just stunning! Thanks Jackie! xx
I enjoy your videos so much , thank you ! When you saw the sign on the bridge for the bakery I realized that I have never seen advertising along the canals ! I live in the US and there would be billboards and advertisements all over the bridges !
Aww thank you, some stretches of the canals are just stunning, we love it! Some are not as pretty, but they all have their own uniqueness! Glad you enjoyed the cruise! Thank you! xx
Enjoyed the meander with Martin. What a job removing that pesky plastic bag - job well done M Love stone bridges - water/greenery very chinese like - relaxing ( although how often are the trees trimmed?) And finally know you were meeting with Nicky and Finn but they just appeared in time for rescue 2 - where from ( silly Q but?) Thank you Jan Adelaide
Hi Jan, so pleased you enjoyed Martin’s bit, he was worried people may not, hopefully he’ll do a bit more! We had called ahead to Nikki and agreed to meet her there, she was further down the canal and waited for us! Thanks Jan! xx
What?? OMG we didn’t know about those!!! Good grief, we proper missed out there didn’t we! 🤦♀️ We’ve marked it on our map now so if we go back that way we will definitely stop!! Thank you! xx

its a double bridge what a great view its shocking to think its so low with all the rain we are getting its september here your blog is behind but i dare say you know its raining all the time as martin and julie know it puts me out of work so im not very pleased at the moment where has all the sun shine gone and they say the planet is warming up more like cooling down

Hi Nicholas, thank you, glad you enjoyed this one! Well let you know what’s going on in a couple of week’s time 😜 Yes, it was lovely meeting up with Nikki & Finn again! I think I wasn’t very clear when we did our services, when I said we had done everything except gas, that’s because we didn’t need any, so didn’t need to stop at the next one. Sorry, my fault for not being clear! Thank you so much Nicholas, how is your little doggy, has she had her operation yet? xx
Hi Paul, we couldn’t let them carry on like that, really glad we could help, but it’s only what other boaters would do! Thank you Paul, hope you’re well xx

Did you treat yourselves to a new motor while in Hockley Heath? 😅 fancy meeting up with that reprobate again, you know how to punish yourselves 😂 two rescues in one day, superheroes 😂 thanks for a great video, stay safe ❤❤
Hiya! Lol, re motor 😂😂 So glad we met up again, we loved it, and watching the footage back, Finn bless her, she was so pleased to see us! 🥰 Poking forward to meeting up again soon hopefully! xx
Hello both, what some people don't realise is when going fast past moored boats on pins it may pull them out.we have had it happen to us and its not just hire boats that speed by its privately owned boats to. They were lucky you passed by.you missed a good pub to call in at The bluebell cider house. Also lady lane wharf was revamped a few years ago.we went to the old wharf and had a good Friday night there when it had a bar and served food.😊.love nb priscilla.
Hi there, yes it seems to be more and more that boats don’t seem to slow down when passing moored boats, we always go very very slow. Shame we didn’t see that cider house, that’s Martin’s drink, so he would have loved that! Thank you! xx. PS. As an Elvis fan, I’m intrigued at you boat name Priscilla? xx
Hi Julie she is a braidbar boat priscilla ll, I believe that there is another priscilla that braidbar built which is about 20 years old ;same paint work has ours I think the owner wanted to replicate his original priscilla just bigger 2nd time around. Not sure if connection with elvis. But I can wish.😂.
Hi Julie and Martin, lovely seeing a few shots of Hockley Heath, my late great aunt lived around there. That one boat looked as though it was on fire so Martin excellent work and also excellent work saving that boat that was drifting around after breaking free from its mooring. Hope you have managed to keep dry this last week with the torrential rain and thunderstorms. Have a wonderful weekend and lots of love, Edward
Hi Edward! We couldn’t leave them to carry on the way they were, they had the throttle on full revs and were limping along, there was so much smoke! But we only did what another boater would have done. There had been a couple of fast boats go by while we were mooring up, and this had caused that boat’s mooring pins to be pulled out. We’re ok, we were moored up in a great place when the thunderstorms came, it was amazing! Hope you’re ok and haven’t got too much flooding! Take care, thanks Edward! xx
With the water level being so low, can i ask what the draft of the boat is. You and Martin will be starting your own rescue service soon 😁. Thanks for the lovely scenic video.
Aww thank you, so pleased you enjoyed the video! Our boat’s draft is 25 inches, so the water really needs to be low for us to be scraping the bottom! Thanks Dave! xx
Hi Roger, most of the time we do have the camera facing forward and I show lots of views, the scenery and all that is around us. We do face the camera at ourselves for a small portion of the videos, this is our diary that our family and friends follow too, so we will always be a part of it. Did you watch all of the video? As most of it is scenery and views! Thank you for your comment! xx
I think we did! You’re not the first to say that, we’ve marked it on our map to remember if we ever go back that way! Thanks Gordon, lovely to have you onboard! xx
Question for Martin: In this video, you mentioned the shallow nature of the canal several times. How do you navigate/ solve the problems and issues with unexpected lower levels along the canals? Do you have any techniques you have used successfully or reliably that you would like to share with the uneducated? Huge thank you for sharing your walk and thoughts on the history and blessings you enjoy in canal life.
Hi Brent, when the water is really low we try to keep to the centre of the canal as that’s the deepest part, and keep the boat just above tickover. If you try to go any faster, the boat lowers into the water more at the back. Sometimes Martin will get me to go to the front too so there’s not as much weight at the back (well that’s what he says lol 😂) If we are stuck on the bottom leaving a mooting, then Martin will always go out backwards, ie pulling the boat out into the middle, as opposed to trying to push and scrape along the bottom. Hope this helps! Thanks Brent! xx
@@JulieandMartinonRIB Thank you so much! That definitely helps. Amazing teamwork between you two. (Though I choose not to accept Martin's reason. LOL!) Can't wait to see what you two get into next.

Hi Julie & Martin, thanks for another great vlog and well done on both of your rescues. As fellow boaters we always stop at Wedges Bakery at Illshaw Heath (bridge 20) when passing as their range of bakery products is fantastic. Well worth marking in your canal guide for future reference if you go that way again
Apparently, when the Navvis were digging out the canal bed, the clay that came out was left to dry and was then cut into bricks and fired, then used for lock walls, canal sides, bridges and tunnels! So what came out of the ground to create the canals, went back into building all the structures! So clever isn’t it! (sorry, we had to cheat and consult Google and CRT🫣) Thanks Adrian, great question! xx
Hi John, we’re safe, we’re on a canal and they don’t generally flood, only the rivers do. We always make sure that by September we are nowhere near rivers! Thank you for thinking of us John! xx

Hi there we have been following yourself and martin for the last 4 months and beleave it or not have seen every vlog from the time you left the marina. Been a very enjoyable experiance. We look forward to the future vlogs with joy and antipation ❤❤❤❤
Andrew and Coral
Oh wow! That’s a lot of videos, well done and thank you so much! Really pleased you are enjoying our little channel! Thank you Andrew & Coral xx
Speak soon! xx
The community on the water are amazing. You are an example of all that is good in it. So kind to help others. Your video is so beautiful.
Aww thank you for your lovely compliments! xx
@@JulieandMartinonRIB I have a question. who went narrowboat first. you guys are Caroline and Pete??
Hi Tracy, not quite sure what you mean 🤔 We first met Caroline & Pete in November 2022 on the Llangollen and we’ve been friends ever since. We didn’t know them when we first got our boat, but I believe they moved onto their boat around the same time as we did, September 2021. Not sure if I’ve answered your question lol, let me know if not! Thanks Tracy xx
@@JulieandMartinonRIB OH, so sorry. Somehow I got the impression that you and Caroline were sisters. Silly me. But now my mystery is solved. thank youn so much for responding.
Aww you’re welcome, how funny that you thought we were sisters, probably as we get on so well, thank you! xx
Martin - just a lovely man! the reflections - that's what I love when we are out in the kayaks and get to some quiet water.
Aww thank you Karen! We often think we should get a couple of kayaks, or maybe a double one, perhaps next summer! Thank you! xx
Thanks Nancy! xx
Always best to use rings or nappy pins when mooring up and leaving the boat where possible
Yes definitely, we never saw whose boat it was, but at least we managed to secure it for them. Thank you! xx
Thank you so much for this wonderful vlog, the canal is just so beautiful and peaceful here. Martin I really enjoyed taking a walk with you, to bad the shops were closed. Once again you both came to the rescue for boats in trouble. Take care, looking forward to the next video. 😃❤️
Aww so pleased you enjoyed this one, wasn’t that stretch of canal gorgeous! Thanks Donna! xx
Thank you Geoff! xx
One of the prettiest cruises.
It really was beautiful along that stretch! Thanks Stan! xx
Thankyou for being kind and helping those people😁😁❤️
Aww we were only too pleased we could help! Thanks Veronica! xx
Well done Martin, you deserve to put your feet up with a pint. Hard work but it must be so satisfying to know you have helped someone. Well done to you both. Xx
Hi Kath, we were only too pleased that it was an easy fix and that we could help! Glad you enjoyed it, thanks Kath! xx
Time to set yourselves up as a ‘Canal Rescue Service’ - make a few bob.
Sounds like a sequel to Thunderbirds and the International Rescue team... 😂
Haha 😝 I’m not sure about that lol, but we will always help where we can, as do most other boaters! Thanks Steve! xx
Hahaha 😝 Rhapsody to the rescue … “F.A.B James” 🤣 xx
Wow, this one had it all. Starting with grinding your bottom (of the boat that is) because it was so shallow, a little romance happening on the stern (hope you checked the "not for children" box on this one.), Martin going down a strangers weed hatch, and a little superhero action saving someone's drifting home. What more could a person ask for? All that was missing was Julie pulling out the strap on... 😂🤣
It really did look like just a good day all around.
😉 Thanks Roger! xx
@@JulieandMartinonRIB My guess is Amazon has picked up these two lovely souls.🤞🏻
Aww that’s so nice of you to say that! xx
all that white smoke might be a worn seal around diesel filler cap. rain gets into the fuel and then produces exactly such clouds of white smoke
Thanks Harry! xx
Beautiful scenery AND knights in shining armour!! What a perfect way to spend my Thursday evening ❤ xx
Aww glad you enjoyed it Jill!
Thank you! xx
Blimey that boat smoking, chat believe they just carried on! Good job u was there. Love ahd informative video as always thankyou x
Aww thanks Kerry, we couldn’t let them carry on like that, you could see they really weren’t having fun, it was nice to put the smiles back on their faces, it didn’t take long either 😃 Hope you and Colin are both ok xx
The scenery on this canal is so beautiful and serene! Amazing!
It really was Beth, just stunning! xx
What lovely people you both are to help out like that. 🏅🏅
Hi James, it’s what most boaters would do, we couldn’t let those people carry on with all that smoke, at least it was an easy fix and they could continue on and have a good day! Thanks James! xx
How very nice of you to help out those boaters and get the other back on mooring, Thank you for another Happy video, Cheers
Hi Craig, thank you, we always help where we can, as do other boaters, this community is just wonderful! Thanks Craig! xx
I will refrain from my grandmothers' colloquialisms and stick to normal American English and say "A great episode and you are right that canal y'all are on is beautiful. Keep them coming.
Hahaha 🤣 that made us laugh, but please don’t stop saying your things, Svengoolie, that was so funny last week! Thank you so much Bill! xx
I just love your laugh Julie it makes me laugh to great vlog
Aww thank you Janice, Martin often makes me laugh, he’s definitely the joker! Thank you Janice! xx
Guardians of the Canals … new Marvel movie, that’s what your message was about 😂
😂😂 Lol, we were just glad we could help, so pleased you enjoyed it! Thanks Jen! xx
With all those beautiful reflections of the bridges in the water, you might consider selling photo prints for people to hang on the wall of the beautiful site you see. One of the other UA-camrs I watch on sailboats does that with photos that they capture that are very outstanding
Thank you David, that’s a great idea, we might look into that! Thank you so much! xx
Hello! Your Canals are so green, they are just like our Streams in Pennsylvania. You are so kind to help people even when no one is home! 😊
Hi there! That stretch of canal was absolutely beautiful wasn’t it! Thank you so much! xx
Thanks Julie! xx
I agree wi Martin regarding the bridges, new ones lack any character. We're in dire need o' a modern day Thomas Telford! xx
Yes think you’re right there! Today’s buildings and bridges just have no character at all, it’s all straight lines and concrete slabs! Thanks Doc, glad you’re enjoying our videos! Thanks! xx
What a beautiful video. Look at all the good luck you collected just being the good people you are. Thank you and love from expat in Canada 👍
Aww we always help where we can, as do most boaters, it really is a lovely community! Thank you for your lovely comment! xx
You are such good soles, canal RAC I think. What a beautiful canal you are on, the scenery of the canal is itself very beautiful indeed. Plus the wildlife along the banks, its it own world. Although I am Health unable I feel very envious of you both, it has everything we all desire. Keep steady!
Hi Nigel, so glad you could come along for the cruise! That stretch of canal really was special, thank you so much! xx
Thanks Steve! xx
Beautiful scenery and what an eventful end to your day, well done .
Hi Tessa, that stretch of canal was just stunning, so pleased you liked it, and yes we had a very eventful and rewarding day! Thanks Tessa! xx
Very nice job of filming this one. You guys are heroes. What a nice thing to do. 😂
Aww thank you Peter, so glad you enjoyed it! xx
Lived over there for a while but never saw the scenery your showing us thanks so much.
Hi Gill, it’s amazing, we knew the canals were pretty, but some stretches are just stunning, and can only be seen from the water, we do feel lucky to have this as our garden, so pleased you are enjoying our journeys! Thank you! xx
Good jobs done on the other boats well done Martin , what a mess down that weed hatch. No wonder they were smoking so much.
Yes, we couldn’t believe how much plastic was around their propeller, Martin did well and we were only too pleased to have been able to help them! Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you! xx
Oh good, it’s Thursday! Hubby going in for new hip tomorrow, so this has been brilliant taking my mind off it all!
Oh crikey Liz, hope hubby’s operation has gone well, he’ll be back on his feet in no time! Glad you enjoyed our video too! xx
Reflection perfection!
Thanks Jackie! xx
Wow! What heroes you both are. Another great vlog.
Aww thanks Alan, glad uou enjoyed it! xx
I enjoy your videos so much , thank you ! When you saw the sign on the bridge for the bakery I realized that I have never seen advertising along the canals ! I live in the US and there would be billboards and advertisements all over the bridges !
Hi Sharen, so glad you are enjoying our videos, lovely to have you onboard! Thank you! xx
Great vlog! You three were knights in shiny armor!
Aww thank you! xx
blimey its a good job you was there other wise god knows what would have happend to that boat well done all 3 of you god bless

Good on you. Kindness and consideration.

Aww thank you, some stretches of the canals are just stunning, we love it! Some are not as pretty, but they all have their own uniqueness! Glad you enjoyed the cruise! Thank you! xx
Enjoyed the meander with Martin.
What a job removing that pesky plastic bag - job well done M
Love stone bridges - water/greenery very chinese like - relaxing ( although how often are the trees trimmed?)
And finally know you were meeting with Nicky and Finn but they just appeared in time for rescue 2 - where from ( silly Q but?) Thank you Jan Adelaide
Hi Jan, so pleased you enjoyed Martin’s bit, he was worried people may not, hopefully he’ll do a bit more! We had called ahead to Nikki and agreed to meet her there, she was further down the canal and waited for us! Thanks Jan! xx
I thought it was compulsory for boaters to stop at Wedges Bakery to get one or two of their foot long chocolate eclair.😉
What?? OMG we didn’t know about those!!! Good grief, we proper missed out there didn’t we! 🤦♀️ We’ve marked it on our map now so if we go back that way we will definitely stop!! Thank you! xx
I really enjoyed this one. Such a nice video doing nice things for others in such beautiful circumstances. Have a great day and looking forward to next week's video 🍷 cheers
It did feel nice to be able to help, really glad you enjoyed it too! Thanks! xx
Well done Martin, great job mate, happy travels folks

Great video thanks for sharing. Two rescues in one video well done.
It was an eventful day, only too pleased we could help! And wasn’t that stretch of canal lovely, so scenic! Thank you! xx
its a double bridge what a great view its shocking to think its so low with all the rain we are getting its september here your blog is behind but i dare say you know its raining all the time as martin and julie know it puts me out of work so im not very pleased at the moment where has all the sun shine gone and they say the planet is warming up more like cooling down
Aww I’m sure the weather will dry up again, and then you’ll have all those leaves to contend with and sweep up! 🫣 xx
Great vlog what heroes saving nicky from doing Birmingham on her own boat full off people and stray boat like you said if it was a car no one would stop great views again this week I suppose you on this TV programme keep up great vlog nice to see fi and nicky ow ya why did you not get gas bottle after the first place had none then you went passed new place and did not get gas bottle
Thank you so much Nicholas, how is your little doggy, has she had her operation yet? xx
Well done for helping 💯❤and the other boat ❤
Hi Paul, we couldn’t let them carry on like that, really glad we could help, but it’s only what other boaters would do! Thank you

What an adventure!
Thank you, it certainly was a beautiful and eventful cruise! Thank you!
Wouldn’t that be lovely! xx
Great video. The scenery was beautiful
Aww thank you Judith, glad you enjoyed it! Thank you! xx

❤so gorgeous this canal❤❤
It really is just stunning! Thank you! xx
Ship biscuits x❤
Lol, is that what they’re called! Mind you, I’d have to be very precise if I said ‘ship biscuits’ as it might not sound like ship! 😂😂🤣 Thank you! xx
Thanks Dave! xx
It would be so great if you turned the camera around and let us enjoy the canal.
Thank you for your comment! xx
@@JulieandMartinonRIB I look forward to watching your other videos. Thanks for posting them and thanks for the reply.

I think we did! You’re not the first to say that, we’ve marked it on our map to remember if we ever go back that way! Thanks Gordon, lovely to have you onboard! xx
the water low blimey all the rain we are having im shocked to see that its raining now as i type its a rotten month im fed up of bloody rain

great see vlog out thanks four the vlogs and cranking it good see help fell boater out thanks lee
Aww thank you Lee!
Aww thank you! xx

Oh definitely, I think we really missed out that day, aren’t we wallies! Noted in the book for next time!! Thanks Ade! xx
So Martin, he who knows every thing, where did all the bricks come from for all the bridges and tunnels?
Apparently, when the Navvis were digging out the canal bed, the clay that came out was left to dry and was then cut into bricks and fired, then used for lock walls, canal sides, bridges and tunnels! So what came out of the ground to create the canals, went back into building all the structures! So clever isn’t it! (sorry, we had to cheat and consult Google and CRT🫣) Thanks Adrian, great question! xx
I see a lot up the line have had a lot of flooding. Not to sure how far from you the flooding is.
Hi John, we’re safe, we’re on a canal and they don’t generally flood, only the rivers do. We always make sure that by September we are nowhere near rivers! Thank you for thinking of us John! xx
Xx
Thank you so much Edward! xx
