Guys. Mysterio can learn about Uncle Ben offscreen. He would have EDITH. Peter told him that he lost a "father figure" before he met Tony. Is it that much of a stretch to think that Mysterio did a little Googling to research Peter and learned about Ben? He clearly had to for a lot of other stuff in that scene.
You're comparing the MCU Spider-Man to the 616 Spider-Man in the comics too much feel like the creative liberties they're making with Spider-Man are allowed to be made. Just because they're not the same thing as the original doesn't mean it's not allowed. I think with this rewrite you are changing more then just the movie you're changing the Cinematic Universe. Peter's only is 15 or 16 Maybe Uncle Ben doesn't exist and BFP it's just 2 add Easter egg or maybe Ben Parker wasn't a good person. Or maybe Uncle Ben died when Peter was young at the Stark Expo and through Edith Tony drops the line with "great power comes great responsibility". Uncle Ben doesn't have to be rehashed for every Spider-Man. As shown in Into the Spider-Verse different spider people have lost someone that wasn't an Uncle Ben. Maybe in the MCU Peter lost Tony.
Most importantly I don't dislike your video there's some things that I do agree with but, I feel like if you're going to rewrite a story rewrite it in a way that doesn't has to be like the comics. Think up a concept that's more unique. And with what you said about the movie as a whole at least put it up as 7/10 I mean six out of 10 feel like that's a bit too low large amount of great scenes in this film such as the illusion scene with Mysterio or the final confrontation of Mysterio. Also put into consideration the time we missed between movies. But this is your content man so do whatever you enjoy.
Person the fact that you don’t think uncle Ben is necessary for Spider-Man’s character is moronic and shows you know little to nothing about the character. Ben is the whole reason peter became Spider-Man, without him peter wouldn’t have ever even thought to use his powers as a hero. Also, most fans of the character like myself all can agree that we don’t need to see his death, but we want at least want the movies to truly acknowledge him rather than stupid things like initials on a suitcase which gets destroyed in the movie and peter doesn’t even give a shit.
Black screen, with just a voice "My client Peter is not the Spider-Man, those are just false claims made by a crazy man before his death" Fade in, to see the back of a lawyer holding a cane. Cut to Peter looking extremely worried And finally cut back to the lawyer, we see his face. Matt Murdock
I like everything you changed, except i think it would be cool during the grave scene, to show tony's name on the stone, but then have it crumble away to show Ben's name underneath, to really drive home that Peter's guilt and mourning about his uncle Ben is what drives his relationship with Tony.
"Different portrayals doesn't matter as Spider-Man is just a mantle, the point of his character is that anybody can be Spider-Man." *yes anybody can be Spider-Man but there's only one Peter Parker*
@@Cj-xt6tv Any one could be a hero, But dealing with the responsibilities of being a hero that destroys your personal life, that only Peter Parker could do.
@@smailliams4300 This theme is explored in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. All Spider-Men (and Women) have one thing in common, summed up by Chris Pine's Spider-Man: "...no matter how many hits I take, I always find a way to come back." Ned Leeds in the MCU is not faithful to the Earth-616 Daily Bugle and future Hobgoblin version. No, he's a different version of Ganke Lee, Miles Morales' best friend and roommate. I've heard and read many people say that MCU Spidey is Ultimate Spider-Man and white Miles Morales. That's a problem. If they want Miles, just adapt him instead of giving us a flimsy Peter Parker.
"Peter shouldn't face too many hardships because he's too young for that." **Miles Morales literally getting both his Spider-Man and Uncle Aaron killed in front of him**
Yeah I disagree with him on that. A point of Spidey is that he faces hardships(a LOT of them) at a young/young adult age when compared to Iron Man or Cap.
I think you meant "Sees his Earth's Spider-man & uncle killed in front of him." There's a big difference between "getting someone killed" and watching someone die.
Cornelius Maximus he got both of them killed of Spider-Man didn’t have to save miles he would have had enough time to insert the goober but sense miles was there and he fell and they had like a 45 sec convo which in a multi villain fight scene is huge and his uncle he was to afraid to fight back his uncle was able to catch him leaving the only thing to do to survive is unmask him self his uncle stops and gets shot cause miles scurried off to the roof instead of fighting back in the house Edit: spelling corrections
@@bruhmoment5916 I wish that Spider-Man’s Stark suit (the one from Civil War and Homecoming) was either the MCU Iron Spider suit from the start or the Far From Home suit (black and red). Then when Peter makes his own suit on the jet, he can use his classic red and blue colors. I feel like going the route of waiting till the jet scene to have Spider-Man in his red and blue suit would have added so much more to the come up moment of Peter making his own suit and separating Spider-Man from Iron Man.
@@bruhmoment5916 why? He has an Iron Spider already, a second one doesn't seem practical (the opinion of someone who doesn't like the Integrated suit of No Way Home)
I’d do what Nando’s VS Movies suggested. If Mysterio got the Iron Spider Suit and turned his suit into a nano tech suit. It means we’d get a more comic accurate Mysterio Suit
i'm fine with aunt may knowing that peter is spider-man but she needs to worry way more and they need a conversation directly referencing ben so it doubles down the responsibility peter has to reassure may while also dealing with sadness/guilt over ben's death.
Everyone says this but by the time FFH comes out in the MCU timeline, Aunt May has known Peter is Spidey for over a year, so to go back to that would just be added drama that wouldn't have added to the movie at all or move the plot forward. What does Aunt May worrying and disagreeing with Peter's Spider-Man activities do to help this plot further, where instead she does worry, but also is the voice of encouraging him from the start that he can step up and be the hero he's supposed to be
@@charlestayloriii9500 If you had a husband or wife that died a year ago, and find at that your nephew who you took care of ever since he was little was spiderman, risks dying every time he goes out being spiderman, you're gonna be like "oh, let me support this teenager being a vigilante superhero who risks dying everyday, after your loved one died a year ago, and he does very questionable things like leaving a school bus on a trip, and leaving detention to go be spiderman." And spiderman FFH takes place a little after the even of avengers endgame.
@Big K Well for one we don't know if May even originally survived the blip (but based on marketing I'm going to assume she didn't) so she would probably have a different view on the situation vs if she had survived the blip, but I also think that would give you a very different view on death and seeing that your nephew (the superhero) was in the final fight, helping restructure the world would give you somewhat of a confidence in his abilities/allies. Now I do agree they could've and probably should've shown a conversation where Aunt May displays her worry after she finds out (since they did pre-reveal worry in Homecoming), either in Homecoming or Far From Home, but the movie still uses different conversations to show that she cares about what he's doing (the phone call with her saying "it's a good thing I packed your suit" shows care about his identity and probably believes it gives him some protection since it is made by Tony Stark, the phone call with Happy checking on Peter through him, and the reunion when Peter gets back). Yes, they could do more and make it more obvious, but her care is engrained in the details since she isn't the focus. Also remember this is approximately 8 months since the end of Endgame and she’s known since the end of Homecoming so we don’t know how many “mini” like adventures Peter had as Spidey since then that might’ve given May more confidence in his skills
A lot of people do "changes" to Spider-Man stuff. The fact this opened by acknowledging that this is subjective, and results from everyone having their own idea of what makes a good Spidey. And it made me able to drop the "but I love it, how dare you!" bias x) And treating it as a new take on the same ideas, rather than "this is why the one you like is wrong"... honestly I love this approach, and it made me able to appreciate your ideas for their own merit. And honestly? They're p neat. So kudos.
As a followup, I disagree with making mysterio wear the suit. Have him wear the mo-cap. And after he "dies", when he inevitably comes back, it turns out the mo-cap suit was padded etc. Cause the EDITH line was "there are no more illusions", not "hes dead"
Peter sees a headstone that reads “Tony Stark” And behind him are more headstones, Iron Man comes crawling out of the grave and Peter falls back in fear. He hits his head on another headstone “Ben Parker” Peter sits there and starts crying only to be thrown off the building by Lne of Mysterios drones
i would love it if The Daily Bugle was like an open-concept layout office full of millennials meant to parody Buzzfeed and the logo was just bugle in arial font or something, still keep J.K. Simmons' Jameson as the editor-in-chief though ;)
This ending is amazing but for my post credits it should have been Peter in school the teacher introduce a new student in class as Peter says Harry? And it cuts to black
Nonoonnnno, we've already had two Harry Osborn's. As much as I love their friendship I think that the Goblin arc is a little bit over done at this point. I think instead of having Harry it should be Eddie Brock
Currently, I am in high school, and it is an ordinary high school. There's nothing special about it, it's not for the rich, it's just your stereotypical highschool and let me tell you, I find the highschool shenanigans in the MCU Spider-Man movies completely believable. People I know get together and break up within weeks for no reason. I'm just really confused why everybody hates the highschool stuff in these movies. They're a good laugh for me. Love this rewrite though it's great and I wish Aunt May and Peter had more weight in the story
Same here. I find the high school stuff in these movies to be quite believable and is probably part of why I love MCU spidey so much. He is right though that no high schooler would use comic sans unironically, but honestly I didn't even think about that until he mentioned it.
Your idea for the reveal of JK Simmon's J Jonah is 100x BETTER than the real film. I would have lost my fucking shit if his face was spontaneously revealed by him putting down a newspaper and doing that classic Raimi laugh that turned into a meme.
"He's a kid; he shouldn't have to go through that stuff yet." Me reading pre ultimatum Ultimate Spider-Man comics: Dang, so none of this then? Seriously though your script rewrites are exactly what I was looking for in these movies - especially for this film, which with the illusion scenes alone, is my second favourite Spider-Man film (Spiderverse being no 1). Here's hoping they learn in the next one, as it's kind of the last chance for me. Well, I'd definitely wait out to see a Johnny Storm & Spider-Man interaction either way though
@Erik Kemeey I certainly agree he doesn't need to lose people in every movie. People not dying isn't my issue - it's more that everything just worked out too well for him that it removes tension. The best Spider-Man stories tend to include those impossible choices which this recent film actually did really well. The aunt may scene worked for the story they were telling with him, and ties in as a consequence of his actions. It was also her best aunt may role in the trilogy, but would've had more of an impact had she been portrayed as such in the previous films too. NWH gives me hope for MCU Spider-Man's future, despite the baggage it technically still carries
@Erik Kemeey in the first 2 films, she just felt like she was there to make jokes about the fact that she's 'Young & hot' in the MCU - particularly when you compare to the portrayals of Rosemary Harris and Sally Field beforehand who were given more material. Like I said, she was much better i NWH, but there was a lot missed out with the potential arcs etc with her finding out Peter's identity but they decided to skip over it. Regarding baggage; I meant more that despite a lot of my issues essentially being rebooted for this next trilogy - there's a few stories we can't really tell now e.g. no more green goblin, even though it wasn't his own norman (those scenes were great, but hampered by the fact we couldn't build up to it and really make an archnemesis out of him) and things of that accord. Baggage is probably the wrong word - I mean more certain issues, or certain storylines I would've liked to see can no longer really be fulfilled due to what had come before it. Not that there isn't any left - but some of my favorite storylines are certainly out of the question now. But who knows, they surprised me with NWH, they could do it again :)
@Erik Kemeey comforting is nice; but she doesn't do nearly as much in these films as the others in theirs. She had much more presence and involvement- especially considering their home situation. Nothing to do with her age, in fact I was interested in what they would do with her in these films but they didn't really do anything. That's my disappointment. She feels like Aunt May in name but not quite in spirit. Every version of Peter sees him get his powers at 15/16 (even the movies) and almost everyone of them still got the spirit of the character and his stories better than how I feel MCU handled him. I went in expecting Spectacular Spider-Man level of writing, but came out with Ultimate Spider-Man (tv not comic) Those are my views really. I don't hate MCU Spider-Man; it just had so much potential that it hasn't lived up to, and that hurts - especially when they cancel everything else to make it the same as the movies. If I don't express my dislikes, they'll turn every version of him to this. As I said, I don't hate MCU Spider-Man; I just point out ways it could've been better
@Erik Kemeey yeah I mean I like all those ideas; they make sense, but some get more focus over things that make Peter Parker who he is. If he doesn't have those traits, it's not really Peter Parker, yknow? He's my favorite character in all of fiction, so I guess I have the highest expectations of content for him.
@Erik Kemeey yeah I think tonally it's definitely a preference thing - I can't fault it there. All of his stories vary in tone from super light-hearted to really dark. I like to dance between the two, which I think sometimes the MCU stories did okay- mostly NWH as the dark moments were great & intense, and the light moments were refreshing and not too silly. It was more, in the older films, I looked at it like "Yeah that's totally what a teen in this situation would do. But not necessarily what teen Peter would do". I think that basically sums up my criticisms as a whole. So yeah, like yoy said, they can go into the other classic Spider-Man stuff like the money troubles, emphasis on his powers instead of tech etc. No Way Home was a great movie and got me really excited for the next movies 😀

Can u try to write a spiderman 4 script please? Edit: Holy Crap thanks for so much likes and troyoboyo please do this. I really want to see ur take on how the film should go
Here's what I would do for Spider-Man "Home" 3: Just to remind the audience, the first scene is the ffh mid credits scene. The story picks up 6 months later, and Peter and May are living in a shady apartment in the North Bronx under the aliases of May Reilly and Ben Reilly. Peter has been in a somewhat depressed state ever since he had to leave Queens. He goes out at night to still be Spider-Man secretly, much to May's dismay. In one scene, she might catch him sneaking out and have a similar breakdown to the way she expressed her worries in Homecoming. Back at midtown, things are more melancholy than ever. Ned's lost the friend he's had since middle school, MJ's lost the person she's been closest to, and they both take the loss with each other as a team. One day, while Peter goes out to stop the Manfredi Mob (a callback to the deleted scene from ffh), he gets too cocky and displays his spider powers too much and lets one of the criminals escape. Because the mob has ties to higher-ups, the escaped member tells a fake story to essentially tell the world that spidey is back. Spider-Man's location and presence is now publicized to the world. We cut to the Pentagon (keep in mind, Spider-Man is currently the world's most wanted man), and it is decided that Spider-Man needs to be taken down. But they can't do that through the S.W.A.T team or the police. They need people who have the power to bring him in. A task-force-x style team is assembled consisting of jailed convicts Vulture, Scorpion, Hydro-Man, Kraven (a once famous bounty and animal hunter turned psychopath over obsession with "the hunt and its prey"), Mysterio (he uses a story that he narrowly escaped and had to fake his death to escape Spider-Man), and Shocker. The idea of Kraven being in the team causes major debate, and it is brought up that the last time he was on the scene, he slaughtered an entire flock of animals in like Kenya or Wakanda (including the tamers and nearby farmers). They are given a plan to take him down and bring him to the police, and almost immediately they go against him. They have deep resentment for Peter, and now that they know where he is, they can hurt him like never before. Peter and May are packing their things (*AGAIN*) and preparing to leave, when his "peter-tingle" goes off. As the bullet is shot and Peter pushes may down, he gets up, unharmed. May has been shot. She's dying... The plan has been compromised and Spider-Man returns to New York, goes to MJ's house and is more distraught and angry than ever. They embrace each other. Kraven's crazy obsession with Spider-Man as prey becomes more and more prevalent, which causes conflict in the group. All except vulture want him dead, but they basically think Kraven is crazy. Kraven takes them all down, and starts his hunt on Peter. I don't feel like writing the rest but basically the events of Kraven's last hunt and Spider-Man: Back in Black ensue. There’s some stuff I’d want to get into about Kraven’s insecurities about his noble status and his origin about his aristocratic family dying when he was young. EDIT: Alright so instead of the sinister 6 being a suicide squad type of thing, maybe have Mysterio be the one to get them all together (his motivation essentially being, "I wanna this kid out of the picture. But the last time I tried he almost killed me and now he knows all my techniques and I can't do this on my own."). He gets chameleon to hire kraven since I'm pretty sure he was already working with chameleon (Dimitri) in ffh. Second edit, the mob guy just tells his boss and because the NYC crime element is interconnected it gets to Mysterio.
I love the initial idea of them going under the Reilly name. During that time Peter could even use a Scarlet Spider inspired costume with the blue hoodie and all. But I don't really like the idea of the Sinister Six being a Suicide Squad type of thing.
Please don't change the Sinister Six into some sort of Suicide Squad. Let the Team consist of Vulture who joins unwillingly, Mysterio, Scorpion, Shocker, 5th Memeber can be filled by a lot of people Kraven, Sandman, Hydro-Man personally I would love a good Electro and have the Leader be Norman or Octavius and done
The_Chillbro Gyro I would preferably have the team be led by Osborn as like just a bunch of guys that want revenge, but Osborn hasn’t been developed, shown, or mentioned in these movies. In my script, the film would focus more on a study of Peter’s thoughts and emotions. And since kraven would be the main villain focused on, I can't really introduce Osborn or Octavius. Maybe mysterio leads it this time as a change...
15:30 that WAS the reason he gave the glasses, we just aren’t told directly. Would probably pull me out of the story if he went on about how “immature, unexperienced and scared I am”. We see it in his actions, his expressions..
I’ve been binge watching a lot of your MCU Spider-Man stuff, and it’s made me realize that Holland’s Spidey isn’t as good as I thought. I was so blinded by my love for the hero, that I thought his Spidey was as good as it was ever gonna get. Now I know that it could definitely get WAAAAYYY better, and I agree with a lot of your critiques. Especially the consequences and Parker Luck stuff. Thank you for clearing my head on the MCU Spider-Man, and making me rethink my views. Also love the rest of your content as well keep it up 👍
19:38 yes I would have liked this, but it doesn’t make sense how Mysterio would know who Ben Parker is. Maybe if peter mentioned his name to Quinton it could work out.
Yeah that would have been good too. Blitzkrieg Bop has a little more energy so it's a better song for the fight but really anything that's not ACDC would work
I agree. The one problem I have is high top films blatantly avoided points and scenes, especially when he said the illusion scene should have more practical effects, even though it’s gci in the universe of the movie
Meh, the only thing I absolutely disagree with you on is that this does not show high school well. As someone who is literally Peter’s age, these movies are some of the only movies that portray high accurately, at least for me.
Besides the fact that when the kids are alone they would be dropping f bombs and talking about sex literally every second. Not saying I wanted this lol
I know you probably won't see this, but I'm really glad I found your channel and more specifically this video. After watching this, I immediately read the JMS run on Spider-Man and damn, you weren't kidding about it being the greatest Spider-Man run ever made. It's pretty weird; you don't realize how different the MCU Spidey is from the comics in some aspects until you read/reread a Spider-Man comic.
Great rewrite as usual! But I don't think that Ben's grave should be in the hallucination instead of Stark's. These are holograms created by Beck, these are created based on what Mysterio knows about Spider-man and I think it is more logical for him to use Stark. Mysterio doesn't use some Scarecrow fear gas such as in the comic. He may have investigated on Peter and found out about his dead uncle, but Beck being a sociopath focused on hatred toward Tony, he wouldn't care about some dead relatives. Don't get me wrong, I would love to see Ben haunting Peter but it is unlikely that a hologram tech based Mysterio would use him.
I think the Uncle Ben stuff in the rewrite is unnecessary... we already have a dead father figure with a lot of emotional weight with Tony Stark & not everything has to be like the comics, and making two dead father figures, and adding uncle ben would just make Tony's death less impactful
Beck already knows Peter’s full name and he could roughly know what Ben means to peter and his feelings towards him by talking to him, he couldn’t make an illusion of Ben because he has no idea what he looks or sounds like, but he could use Peter’s name and sparse information about Ben to use his tech to find a news story about a tragic shooting or ben's obituary
@@Fbcos221 But Tony is more recent and would hit Peter harder. It doesn't matter if Peter told Beck about Ben. Beck wants to mentally f with him. Peter's been Spider-Man for about a year,(Not including the snap-gap) and Ben's been gone for some time now. Tony was dead for only 8 months and it would effect Peter much more. I'm happy in the re-write that Ben is mentioned, but Beck using him against Peter makes no sense compared to Tony.
Imma just gonna say that I very much disagree with you when it comes to how high school was portrayed. I was the exact same age as Peter when that movie came out and I just happen to go on a similar school trip that year in the exact same places. And in all honesty, the way this movie portrays high school is pretty much what it's like for me. Even the teachers were exactly the same way. So I think these movies did an excellent job in that aspect.
I love your critiques! Totally agree with your last few sentences, I always get peeved when I hear others call Spidey “just a kid” as if that’s an excuse to not have him face the consequences. I love it when he faces the consequences, when all these odds seem to start stacking against him, cause it makes the moment when he chooses to get up and fight all the more special. One of the most inspirational things about him is that he is almost always guaranteed to fail somehow. But he keeps on trying to do the right thing even though all this weight on his shoulders lead him to much suffering. Also, Ben Parker deserves a much bigger role in the MCU. If the MCU Spider-Man doesn’t acknowledge that death and its impact, than the person behind the mask most certainly isn’t Peter Parker. As for the Fantastic Four, they’re also the only new characters I’m looking forward to seeing in the MCU! They used to be super popular in the comics but now it seems as if no one really knows much about them beyond those meh films. That teams deserves much more love and I hope they will be portrayed well. (I am also hoping for a friendship to be built up between the Human Torch and Spidey as I found that to be one of my favorite relationships in the comics.)
Been waiting for this one can't wait! Edit: Great video, now this is a true Spider-Man movie; also one change I'll make to FFH or just this MCU series is to replace Ned (cause he's just Ganke) and put Harry there instead... you know... Peter's actual friend. Also I 100% agree with you Peter's arc will be a stronger if the movie emphasises Tony's failings and critiques his legacy.
The Mad Titan The problem is that the MCU Peter Parker is not the comics Peter Parker at all. He is like a mix between Peter Parker and Miles Morales (that's why Ned is here)
Dude You described the movie description of high school is exactly what my high school is, a bunch of kids not caring about school and be very immature and not like their own age at that point
Having Ben Parker be on a grave makes sense to an extent but Mysterio has no clue who Ben Parker is even with your rewrite. All he would know is that Peter had another father figure. He gave no name so it wouldnt make sense.
The thing is mysterio doesn't have to know. His illusions are to get in your head, he makes you see what you want to see. So the "Ben Parker" tombstone could work. All Mysterio has to make is the tombstone, and Peter's brain will see it as Uncle Ben's.
@@puffpuffpassmako Except this Mysterio uses technology not smoke and practical effects. So, you're wrong. The tech is premade as shown in the movie. Everything we see was made before it is actually used against Spidey
Yoda Soda He already did his job and portrayed his version of green goblin in the film he had to and at the time he had to. It doesn’t really make sense for that many characters from the Raimi films to return when there are other actors perfectly capable of playing the role.
I initially thought you were crazy for not thinking the MCU Spider-Man movies were great, but then I realized you had a lot of good points, and now have changed my view of the movies a little bit. I still love the movies, but now I now understand more things can be done to improve upon them. Thanks for the great contents. You’ve earned a new subscriber
He came up with weird logic that Tony intended for Peter to give away the glasses though. Troyoboyo is just streamlining it and making it make more sense. Edit: Clarified the second part of my statement because I was a dumbass and forgot to use a name instead of a pronoun to differentiate between Peter and the uploader.
I like this movie. I’d add change some tiny things though. -I’d put Peter’s loss of all farther figures instead of just Tony to the forefront as it’d be cool if they showed what made him a hero without doing an origin. They could say Tony filled his role as a farther figure and it effected Peter a lot cuz Tony died leaving that void open forcing him to step up. -The first scene should’ve been Peter’s perspective on the events of iron man 2. U don’t need that mysterio scene at the start and it would work better for the story to retroactively fit that into the film and the MCU. -As clearly u can’t change Aunt May knowing he’s Spidey she could not condone him being Spiderman so he’ll be under pressure. -Tony could leave one final hologram for peter for when he’s ready that’d he’d see at the end of the film. -Mj and Ned would be a bit more pissed off at Peter for being unreliable. That’s all I’d change I think it’s still a good movie though.
These are some great points, I’m gonna headcanon some of this stuff for sure. As someone who has never read a comic, I usually just go with the mcu narrative, but having the conflicts you mentioned definitely gives Peter’s character more depth
Yes absolutely I agree with mostly everything, also it would be sick if at the end credit scene that you came up with with mystery and scorpion, if scorpion simply said “I’m putting together a team” to reference the old avengers end scenes
As a fan of the Raimi trilogy and the MCU Spider-Man was very skeptical going into this video and expecting a lot of bashing like the one you had for the upcoming trailer like I get your criticism and everyone else's criticism of the MCU Spider-Man but I also think you're being a bit unreasonable I can tell from both movies that the MCU is not trying to be exactly like the comics to an extent or trying to be like the Raimi ones they're trying to be their OWN thing and I can appreciate that.
Trying to be their own thing doesn't mean butchering the character....which it didn't happend yet but they really on the right path in doing it Also the comics especially the recent ones did Spidey dirty more than any movie out there
@@cvox607 1. if you actually know anything about the film industry they can legally adopt any comic book the way they want to they don't do 100% or 75% accuracy they do 75% and 50-50% accuracy 2. you can't always do the same thing twice or even a third time if you're going to be rebooting it why you think Amazing Spider-Man movies failed well one because it was a badly made quality film but on the other side people just didn't want see the same thing twice that they seen the first time and that was reflected in the box office so Marvel had to take the other option of making it different regardless if it pissed off the Fanboys. 3. Also yes I'm very where the comics especially the recent ones did Spider-Man dirty especially Dan slott run on Spiderman but since Mark Spector came back he's actually doing a very good job so that's good. 4. although I'm very mixed on Sony taking Spider-Man back

I like it. I agree that there is a lot that could have improved the movie. I especially don't like that they never showed Aunt May struggling with the fact that Peter is Spiderman. There should have been some conflict there. With Peter having to prove to her that he can handle the responsibility.

as a high school student the scenes are actually really accurate. i think that since social media drives my generation that we have mostly the same humor and social tendencies that makes these scenes feel real to me. i also go to an art school that travels and is really layed back and all the travel scenes felt like something that would happen on a trip. also i loved this re-write, i think this is honestly the best re-write in the history of re-writes. it’d be cool if u re-wrote the x-men trilogy tho
I LOVE the MCU characters and was very moved by their deaths. AND I laughed really hard. It's not disrespectful, to me it's amazing and relatable. You may know high school teenagers who makes better videos... but I didn't and I felt right home when I was 15-17 making AMVs. (Maybe that's the problem, I'm old lol) I agree with everything else you said. Amazing stuff, dude.
You, sir, probably have such an excellent, valid video about the criticism of this movie. While I love Homecoming and this movie, I will admit that they’re not perfect movies, and the points you made in this video I wholeheartedly agree with and absolutely LOVE your re-write. Instead of critiquing things in a harsh manner like nameless UA-camrs I will not mention, you have reason as to why you do not like certain aspects of this movie that aren’t just “they don’t live up to the Raimi trilogy or comic standards”. I watched your video and Homecoming video COUNTLESS times, and not once did a viewing bore me or changed MY views on the movies. I found your channel out of pure curiosity, and I was not disappointed - especially not in other videos like your DCEU videos. Troyo, you and your channel deserve more love, because this is content that I like to see. Keep on rockin’ on, and I look forward to any video projects for the future! :)
this was incredibly well written, I've watched the odd fan rewrite, but this is faithful to the character and sticks to the formula they lined up in the movie. Very similar to spectacular spiderman, great job, I'm just so upset this never will get to exist.
7:00 not a joke people just make it that way because most people don't read comics or haven't been dressing up as these characters since they were three the people who laughed watched I.W E.G and F.F.H for entertainment not because they care so you can hate on that scene but just know it is a tribute to the big six
The movie was enjoyable but if I was the writer or director, I would have made some pretty big changes and have him react to Uncle Ben's brief case being destroyed but I am relly excited for this video and the 3rd movie.
They can easily just use some skrull shapeshifting shenanigans to fool everyone into believing Peter and Spider-Man are two different people or if they want to rope in Chameleon to do it I guess that could work as well if it’s written well but skrulls are the easiest option here
The Avatar 9 months later due to more celebrity deaths I disagree more Look at juice world memes “what if juice was not in the world” “Little ceaser” Etc etc If I where to go on look at Kobe Immediatley when he died there where memes of Kobe doing a trick shot from a helicopter crashing So yeah people do meme on people’s death
I can literally feel the emotion of the story you rewrite, it feels more grounded for spiderman. I keep feeling there's something missing and you made it clear for me.
Changing the headstone to Ben Parker simply makes no sense. The movie is about his disappointment and depression about Tony dying, because (as changed in your rewrite) he has already failed Ben and doesn't wanna go through that again. However, showing Ben's tombstone simply doesn't impact Peter as much as Tony's tomb would, bc Tony's is fresh in his mind. A lot of good changes but I'm sorry there is no way that anyone can think the tombstone one is good if they think about it
15:15 but those two reasons are the same. he chose not to because he thought that beck would do more/better witht the tech than he could, and it was his choice because they were gifted to him with the message "for the next iron man"
10:38 Obviously the suitcase belongs to Reed Richards from that time Peter visited the Baxter Building before Uncle Ben died. He got it as a gift because Reed recognized his talent.
I agree with the headstone bit, and I thought that’s what it was gonna be, but Mysterio doesn’t know Peter like that. He only knows the connection Peter had with Tony not with uncle Ben
Hey guys, this is very long, but I came up with an (in my opinion) perfect MCU Spider-man 3 script, that I think will make all the fans happy, at least to some degree: At the start of the movie, Peter gets arrested after being framed by Mysterio for his death and countless others. In the beginning, he’s fleeing back home, but his house is already surrounded by SHIELD agents or some kind of military. In this version, SHIELD doesn’t know anything about Beck being a bad guy, as far as they know it was all real, because the only people knowing were Skrull Maria Hill and Nick Fury, we can say they went on a mission in space, leaving Peter with no connections and no one to trust except his friends and family. Peter will try to escape and there will be a short chase scene between Peter and SHIELD, but at last, the Avengers come (at this point probably only Falcon, Bucky, and War Machine) to finally arrest Peter, he tries to fight, but at last, they capture him with some kind of a special device (idk, you figure it out). This is the part of the first act where we could really see some good drama that a lot of us have been waiting for. Peter gets sent to the RAFT, or some other high-tech security prison. In here Peter is at his lowest, he will speak with Aunt May over the prison phone, and they will both share a scene of Peter breaking down, confessing about not saving Ben and how he’s been grieving about him, how Stark was his new mentor but he failed him too, and how he was in denial about his feelings about Ben’s death. There will be a flashback, back to his death, and also May’s reaction to first seeing Peter in the suit after Homecoming (WE NEED THESE SCENES EXPLAINED, Watts, you cant just show us May finding out and then nothing, give us some drama). We will get some prison scenes of Peter not able to sleep, him mourning and stuff, also we could see some prisoners that Peter arrested, trying to kill him in the prison. By the beginning of the second act, we will see Peter truly standing up for himself, and deciding to do what’s right, he will escape the prison, but not all Spider-man being strong and stuff, he wants to keep his identity a secret, at least in front of the prisoners, he will use his technological knowledge to bypass the prison’s security and create a security breach, making him the only escapee. At this point, he will go into hiding, create his OWN Spider-man suit, but not like his homemade suit, like an actual suit with no Stark tech, and he will start looking for ways to get clean. The government will hire Kraven the Hunter, in this universe some kind of a Russian or super skilled agent to hunt down Spider-man. By this point, I don’t know what more to add to the story, but I know how I want the movie to end. I want Peter to get clean of any criminal charges (you could even set up Matt Murdock by him being his lawyer or something), I want nobody to know that Peter is Spidey, but do it in a way that it was the medias fault and not some Dr. Strange mind whipping thing, I want a bigger villain to be introduced pulling the strings behind his framing (Wilson Fisk?, Norman Osborn?) and Kraven trying to kill Peter, rather than arresting him (maybe Kraven could be a double agent), and I want Peter to graduate from high school, and at the end of the movie (because MJ is largely absent from the movie), make her first appearance after the whole “Home Run” story be with her iconic red hair (which we’ve seen Zendaya rock), meeting Peter in the door with the iconic line, or something super similar. By this point, Peter will be a college student, independent of any Stark related stuff, broke, but more motivated to do the right thing, he will also make his suits homemade, similar to the suit in the PS4 game. All we want is a good Spider-man story that hits the original elements while keeping it fresh in this world of the MCU, give us drama over comedy.
Did anyone else realize that he said Mj shouldn’t find out about Peter being Spider-Man but then he says that mysterio tricks Peter into telling him that Ned and (MJ) know his secret??
Hey bro I just wanna say this video is a MASTERPIECE You rewrote this movie to not just be a genuine Spidey movie but a great movie as well Movies nowadays need people like you especially superhero movies because you have a clear vision and care for these characters and there stories so good video keep it up
Watching the video for the second time... I realize that Mystrio wouldn't know who Ben is cause you said that Peter told him that he lost a father figure before tony but you never said that he told him about Ben.
A post credit scene i would love would be donadald glover would watch TV j jonah would say spider-man is back and donald aka prowler would say wait isnt spiderman form brooklyn
I have an idea for the mysterio "death scene" ... Beck is crouching down and is looking at the floor and he says the same line he says when he dies in the real movie. Peter puts on edith and attemps to turn of the drones but edith says there is an error over and over so he looks down at beck asking what he's done. Beck looks up at peter and has a deep smile on his face. He fades away . Peter screams in anger and turns off the drones
DUDE!! I ALSO HAVE THAT HEAD CANNON ABOUT MJ'S NAME!! Only in my version, MJ and her mom used to be the Watsons, and they changed their name to the Jones', after running away from their father/husband (whom has been shown to be abusive in different mediums). Obviously this is way too dark for the MCU, but it's a nice way for me to accept MJ not being Mary-Jane :)
to be fair, the same people who hated the "in memorian" intro, are the same ones who praise sam raimi for doing the exact same things with his trilogy, for example, when peter had an emotional scene where he quit being spiderman, they just resumed right after with cheerful music and him enjoying himself, called these scenes "genius" even, yes, im talking about hitop fillms lmao. and to be fair even people who cried abt these deaths a year before could've used a bit of enlightening about the situation and even get a prespective on what other civillians who had no connection whatsoever to the avengers may make it out to be. and then you'd go back to peter's side of the story and how he mourns stark.
Funny how you don't acknowledge the fact that Mysterio's plan makes no sense (the holograms can only work until a certain point). That and inserting yet another reminder that Uncle Ben is dead (even though this Spider-Man could perfectly have a different origin story)
Both the MCU version and your version are amazing. You should totally like actually physically write a storyboard. I would love to see a storyboard of this
This is why I like you so much more than HiTop, you can still recognize the good parts of these movies while actually criticizing the... other parts instead of bitching and moaning about how SICK TO YOUR STOMACH the movie made you
I'd pay for production if this story is made into a movie. This has been the best rewrite of your catalogue. I really dig yours more than the original one. Marvellous job. 🤘👏🎬
Nice video dude! Though I have to say, I've left high school like a year ago, and the students there were dating each other's sloppy seconds like every other week. Break-ups were too common, even for couples I thought were perfect for each other. So I think Betty and Ned's relationship was little realistic, but don't get me wrong, the way they started dating did seem out of nowhere. Since before the turbulence on the plane, Betty and Ned established that they had nothing in common. So excluding how it started, how their relationship played out was realistic, at least to me. Plus, I feel like Brad should be kept in the movie since he fits the role of Peter's romantic rival more than Flash, since Flash didn't seem to be crushing on MJ in the first movie, he's more like a player or a f*ckboy by the way he acts. Also, MJ showed that she doesn't like Flash and the way he treats Peter, so I think she would shut down Flash's advances on her asap.
Great rewrite. Fixes almost all the issues with the movie. I love the new ending with JJ and the mid-credits scene, that continues to set up the Sinister Six (Vulture, Scorpion and Mysterio so far). Overall great video. I love what you do, keep up the great work.
A good work around could be that Beck already had the Drones before Edith, so in this we know that Beck is pretty smart as he was able to develop B.A.R.F. And have these drones, except they could make it where it’s a pain to actually get going, that it takes weeks even months to get one of projections to work, however he knows he can hack Edith so it can cut that work down so that you could these projections real-time, then since the Drones are hooked up to the glasses, Peter is able to self destruct them with it
Fair play, i went into this video pretty sceptical since i enjoyed Far From Home, but after watching the vid, this version does sound a bit better and is more natural and gripping as well as making everyone WANT to see the next movie even more to see how things pan out. Awesome Vid :)
Guys. Mysterio can learn about Uncle Ben offscreen. He would have EDITH. Peter told him that he lost a "father figure" before he met Tony. Is it that much of a stretch to think that Mysterio did a little Googling to research Peter and learned about Ben? He clearly had to for a lot of other stuff in that scene.
troyoboyo17 I was just about to comment this, I only like the idea that peter could make some remark of first looking Ben, and then tony.
I’m hoping that we can at least get a few Ben Parker flashbacks just to portray him as something to keep peter going in his toughest fights
Black screen, with just a voice
"My client Peter is not the Spider-Man, those are just false claims made by a crazy man before his death"
Fade in, to see the back of a lawyer holding a cane.
Cut to Peter looking extremely worried
And finally cut back to the lawyer, we see his face. Matt Murdock
*G o o d o l ' C h a r l i e C o x*
Yeah, but what if we have matt murdock lose the case then gets beat up by the rest of the mysterio team as luke cage comes from out of the shadow
I'm still hoping that we get Spider-Man and Daredevil teaming up to fight Kingpin.
YES. INFINITELY YES.👏👏👏
Charlie Cox has confirmed he won't appear in Spider-Man 3, which I kinda like. I mean, Daredevil defending Spider-Man in court just seems silly to me.
I like everything you changed, except i think it would be cool during the grave scene, to show tony's name on the stone, but then have it crumble away to show Ben's name underneath, to really drive home that Peter's guilt and mourning about his uncle Ben is what drives his relationship with Tony.
I raise you one more! having Peter attempt to break the grave stone in denial to have it crumble and reveal Ben's
Genius
But mysterio doesn’t really know Ben Parker as much iron man
@@steel7670 True, but maybe Peter could see the uncle Ben name showing slowly on the grave ? like a vision or something
I like that
"Different portrayals doesn't matter as Spider-Man is just a mantle, the point of his character is that anybody can be Spider-Man."
*yes anybody can be Spider-Man but there's only one Peter Parker*
According to the multiverse, there is an infinite amount of Peter Parkers.
Thank you that last line pissed me off
Cool yeah but the point of his character is anyone could be Spider-Man
@@Cj-xt6tv Any one could be a hero, But dealing with the responsibilities of being a hero that destroys your personal life, that only Peter Parker could do.
"Peter shouldn't face too many hardships because he's too young for that."
**Miles Morales literally getting both his Spider-Man and Uncle Aaron killed in front of him**
Yeah I disagree with him on that. A point of Spidey is that he faces hardships(a LOT of them) at a young/young adult age when compared to Iron Man or Cap.
I think you meant "Sees his Earth's Spider-man & uncle killed in front of him." There's a big difference between "getting someone killed" and watching someone die.
That is exactly the point of Spider-Man. To face hardship because of his being teenaged and out of his league with a great deal, but still fighting.
Cornelius Maximus he got both of them killed of Spider-Man didn’t have to save miles he would have had enough time to insert the goober but sense miles was there and he fell and they had like a 45 sec convo which in a multi villain fight scene is huge and his uncle he was to afraid to fight back his uncle was able to catch him leaving the only thing to do to survive is unmask him self his uncle stops and gets shot cause miles scurried off to the roof instead of fighting back in the house
Edit: spelling corrections
*Ultimate Peter Parker died at the age of 16/17*
This sounds like a spectacular spider-man storyline. Love it
More like an amazing spider-man storyline
What also could’ve been cool is if the new suit he creates was the iron spider from the comics
As it should be
@@bruhmoment5916 I wish that Spider-Man’s Stark suit (the one from Civil War and Homecoming) was either the MCU Iron Spider suit from the start or the Far From Home suit (black and red).
BRUH IF WE GOT THAT SPIDER SENSE SCENE I WOULDVE CRIED
Technically we did. (But with that terrible ass joke)
@Kermit le frog i mean with the white lines not the peter tingle
Same
Wesusa Paints! I mean the white lines would be ducking stupid cuz this isn’t animated and would look really out of place
That would've been totally sick. I don't care if it would've look put of place it would've been awesome.
i'm fine with aunt may knowing that peter is spider-man but she needs to worry way more and they need a conversation directly referencing ben so it doubles down the responsibility peter has to reassure may while also dealing with sadness/guilt over ben's death.
Maximus Keene Ye I agree dude in the ultimate comic aunt may legit have a heart attack because uncle Ben recently died and Peter suddenly spider man
Charles Taylor III do U remember the quote "show don't tell" so I believe she was dusted

It's not hard to "re-write" a movie when all you have to do is change small aspects of it
A lot of people do "changes" to Spider-Man stuff. The fact this opened by acknowledging that this is subjective, and results from everyone having their own idea of what makes a good Spidey. And it made me able to drop the "but I love it, how dare you!" bias x)
And treating it as a new take on the same ideas, rather than "this is why the one you like is wrong"... honestly I love this approach, and it made me able to appreciate your ideas for their own merit.
Absolutely incredible... I loved this!!! The first video i watched of yours was the homecoming re-write and ive binge watched ever since... Just wow.
He should have more subscribers!!
Peter sees a headstone that reads “Tony Stark” And behind him are more headstones, Iron Man comes crawling out of the grave and Peter falls back in fear. He hits his head on another headstone “Ben Parker” Peter sits there and starts crying only to be thrown off the building by Lne of Mysterios drones
what would be more terrifying for peter is if he saw one ready for aunt may.
i would love it if The Daily Bugle was like an open-concept layout office full of millennials meant to parody Buzzfeed and the logo was just bugle in arial font or something, still keep J.K. Simmons' Jameson as the editor-in-chief though ;)
Some articles on the Internet compared the Daily Bugle from the post-credits scene as an Alex Jones-y type.
Yeah no
This ending is amazing but for my post credits it should have been Peter in school the teacher introduce a new student in class as Peter says Harry? And it cuts to black
Nonoonnnno, we've already had two Harry Osborn's. As much as I love their friendship I think that the Goblin arc is a little bit over done at this point. I think instead of having Harry it should be Eddie Brock
I don’t want another green goblin not after amazing spider man 2
Harry meets peter in college not school
Currently, I am in high school, and it is an ordinary high school. There's nothing special about it, it's not for the rich, it's just your stereotypical highschool and let me tell you, I find the highschool shenanigans in the MCU Spider-Man movies completely believable. People I know get together and break up within weeks for no reason. I'm just really confused why everybody hates the highschool stuff in these movies. They're a good laugh for me.
Love this rewrite though it's great and I wish Aunt May and Peter had more weight in the story
Exactly I'm also in high school and I'm 18
Same here. I find the high school stuff in these movies to be quite believable and is probably part of why I love MCU spidey so much. He is right though that no high schooler would use comic sans unironically, but honestly I didn't even think about that until he mentioned it.
Exactly! High schools are like this I loved those parts of these movies.
I also agree School life isn’t made of Edgy big muscular bullys and different groups
They hate it bc it's accurate lol
Your idea for the reveal of JK Simmon's J Jonah is 100x BETTER than the real film. I would have lost my fucking shit if his face was spontaneously revealed by him putting down a newspaper and doing that classic Raimi laugh that turned into a meme.

"He's a kid; he shouldn't have to go through that stuff yet."
Me reading pre ultimatum Ultimate Spider-Man comics: Dang, so none of this then?
I went in expecting Spectacular Spider-Man level of writing, but came out with Ultimate Spider-Man (tv not comic)
Those are my views really.
I liked the idea of Flash being a vlogger. However, that may be because I absolutely loathe all vloggers except David Dobrik.

Having May not being affected by the decimation would of been a cool heart-breaking flashback scene to see with her seeing Peter again.
Here's what I would do for Spider-Man "Home" 3:
Just to remind the audience, the first scene is the ffh mid credits scene.
Spider-Man: Home Sick
Spider-Man: Homeless
Because he has no we’re to go between the life of Peter Parker or Spider-Man.

I think Peter should have told Happy to play Left Hand Free, because that was part of his first introduction to the MCU. But Blitzkrieg Bop is ok too.

Meh, the only thing I absolutely disagree with you on is that this does not show high school well. As someone who is literally Peter’s age, these movies are some of the only movies that portray high accurately, at least for me.

Alejandro Pedro I think both. Ngl I don’t remember but I think I thought some of the changes were asinine but some were good.
Honestly that makes me so happy you have no idea. The JMS run pretty much changed my life and I'm so happy to spread its greatness to others!
14:10 Peter tells Beck about Uncle Ben's importance to him in the rewrite
@@Fbcos221 Magic Man knows that lol he even said that
Imma just gonna say that I very much disagree with you when it comes to how high school was portrayed.
I 100% agree with you
Yea true
Agreed
Ritzy ritzcracker school
It’s funny watching this after nwh bc Peter has extreme consequences at the end, may died and he lost everything 💀
He is like a mix between Peter Parker and Miles Morales (that's why Ned is here)
@@AdmiraHax And that's exactly the problem.
But Ned is awesome tho.
And I am oBvIoUsly right cuz I am the mire handsome one.
Rewriting dialogue scenes would give him context

Yoda Soda He already did his job and portrayed his version of green goblin in the film he had to and at the time he had to. It doesn’t really make sense for that many characters from the Raimi films to return when there are other actors perfectly capable of playing the role.

Sony/Disney new dela for 2 more films ft. Spidey: Hold MY beer.

Trying to be their own thing doesn't mean butchering the character....which it didn't happend yet but they really on the right path in doing it

I like it. I agree that there is a lot that could have improved the movie. I especially don't like that they never showed Aunt May struggling with the fact that Peter is Spiderman. There should have been some conflict there. With Peter having to prove to her that he can handle the responsibility.

I can literally feel the emotion of the story you rewrite, it feels more grounded for spiderman. I keep feeling there's something missing and you made it clear for me.
Spider-Man, not 'Spiderman'. Or did the first few seconds with him furiously emphasizing the hyphen not click?
Changing the headstone to Ben Parker simply makes no sense. The movie is about his disappointment and depression about Tony dying, because (as changed in your rewrite) he has already failed Ben and doesn't wanna go through that again. However, showing Ben's tombstone simply doesn't impact Peter as much as Tony's tomb would, bc Tony's is fresh in his mind. A lot of good changes but I'm sorry there is no way that anyone can think the tombstone one is good if they think about it
Why would there be Ben Parker in the illusion scene if mysterio wouldn’t have known about Ben/what he looks like

I agree with the headstone bit, and I thought that’s what it was gonna be, but Mysterio doesn’t know Peter like that. He only knows the connection Peter had with Tony not with uncle Ben
Hey guys, this is very long, but I came up with an (in my opinion) perfect MCU Spider-man 3 script, that I think will make all the fans happy, at least to some degree:
At the start of the movie, Peter gets arrested after being framed by Mysterio for his death and countless others.
This all was leading up to No Way Home and I dont want anything changed from that tbh.
Hey bro I just wanna say this video is a MASTERPIECE
You rewrote this movie to not just be a genuine Spidey movie but a great movie as well

why every thing he re writes is better than the actual film XD
Wait wait why does Peter tell Beck that MJ knows his secret if MJ doesn't know he's Spider-Man?
MJ knows Beck's secret that he's a fraud
A post credit scene i would love would be donadald glover would watch TV j jonah would say spider-man is back and donald aka prowler would say wait isnt spiderman form brooklyn
I have an idea for the mysterio "death scene" ... Beck is crouching down and is looking at the floor and he says the same line he says when he dies in the real movie. Peter puts on edith and attemps to turn of the drones but edith says there is an error over and over so he looks down at beck asking what he's done. Beck looks up at peter and has a deep smile on his face. He fades away . Peter screams in anger and turns off the drones
26:43
That is the best choice you made of introducing the MCU Fantastic Four by having them come from the Negative Zone.
Dude...if they would've done that thing you said about Peter telling Happy to turn off Back in Black...I would've been wayyyy more hyped
How is it that this boyo makes more exciting story drafts for MCU Spider-man
...
THAN THE GOD DAMN MCU.
Great job.
to be fair, the same people who hated the "in memorian" intro, are the same ones who praise sam raimi for doing the exact same things with his trilogy, for example, when peter had an emotional scene where he quit being spiderman, they just resumed right after with cheerful music and him enjoying himself, called these scenes "genius" even, yes, im talking about hitop fillms lmao. and to be fair even people who cried abt these deaths a year before could've used a bit of enlightening about the situation and even get a prespective on what other civillians who had no connection whatsoever to the avengers may make it out to be. and then you'd go back to peter's side of the story and how he mourns stark.
So... You suggest to make the CHI action scenes practical, when IN UNIVERSE, theses things are CGI!!? People confuses me sometimes.
25:05 well that didn’t age well
It aged like milk

Funny how you don't acknowledge the fact that Mysterio's plan makes no sense (the holograms can only work until a certain point). That and inserting yet another reminder that Uncle Ben is dead (even though this Spider-Man could perfectly have a different origin story)
Both the MCU version and your version are amazing. You should totally like actually physically write a storyboard. I would love to see a storyboard of this
“May should find out in the third or fourth movie.”
That hasn’t aged well
This is why I like you so much more than HiTop, you can still recognize the good parts of these movies while actually criticizing the... other parts instead of bitching and moaning about how SICK TO YOUR STOMACH the movie made you
Yh, I like HiTops Raimi videos and his Batman videos but he can be so melodramatic sometimes
He does say the good moments of some of these movies
Dylan Ayres HiTop films spit straight facts.
One issue with your rewrite is how did beck get the drones if Peter's Edith didn't have the ability to unlock the drones?
