I fly at a local park on the lake. Lots of trees and obstacles that make it cramped but flying there is 1000% more fun than the club field. Always love pushing the limits of myself and the planes 🤙🏼

Right on and thanks for the shout out, Zack. Our club field is inaccessible till April or May due to snow, so I envy you. There are some indoor flying sites on Aerofly, so maybe we could go fly there sometime again, and we can see how you land in a VERY confined area. You will nail it, I am sure. Great job again. Fly easy!

Today I went flying for the first time in 10months or so.

My home field that I fly at is TIGHT and also surrounded by trees. Probably not as tight as that field, but its bad enough that people refuse to fly there. I had to learn that lesson 25+ years ago to get over the fear of the trees. Great video and awesome channel...Subscribed 👍

joining the RC club again today for the first time of the new year, I made a resolution to make sure this year I'll fly an EDF jet aircraft, even if it's just nothing more but a maiden.
last year I maidened a freewing ME262, which kind of was my first serious EDF jet aircraft which flew great but I kinda botched the landing by running into high grass and since it wasn't the V2 the nose broke off. I cleanly glued the nose back together but now I gotta fix that particular sequence cable for the nose gear which has grounded the vehicle all this time. I also think it's generally just better to start with a more disposable/forgiveable jet aircraft because that 262 sure was giving me the heebie jeebies at times considering the difference it makes when you go from prop planes to a 6S EDF jet.

There's a guy who recommended cutting the center hook things out of the springs to prolong their longevity. I was sceptical but with springs already looking dodgy I gave it a go. Took some doing, very hard wire, and when out I wondered what they actually did, apart from making the springs none springs. I too recommend you do this, it has saved my deformed springs and they have had loads of landings since. The poor guy who came up with the idea never got recognition, I thanked him
